We were told the paella would take 30 minutes to prepare but in the end waited an hour for it to arrive. After initially waiting over 30 minutes, we had to chase for an update because not even the dishes that required no cooking had arrived. As a result, the manager offered us some complimentary olives while we waited. The food was decent but not fantastic. We’re glad we had a discount voucher because the food was overpriced for what it was. Don’t think we’ll be coming back.
Great service. Fantastic food. Delicious. Great decor
I used to love this place, but the food is not as good as it used to be, and the prices are very high. The toilets were very dirty and messy. Service was ok (pleasant) but not professional. It could improve by recommending dishes.
Good food, but ruine dby finding a large black hair in one of our meals. The meal was replaced free of charge but it was too late by then. Shame because the food and atmosphere are both really good.
Really nice meal, friendly and super-speedy service. We'll definitely be going again!
The ambiance was really pleasant. You could smell what was being cooked, so it made us more hungry because it smelled amazing!
We were served EXPIRED diet coke. When we pointed it out on the server, he just took them away without apologising. They brought us new ones, and not even then they apologised. 20 minutes later, someone came and offered a rushed apology. It is unacceptable for a place such that to offer any kind of expired product.
We were seated inside and requested to move outside and they assured us that if a table on the garden emptied we would move there, which never happened. The place got so loud, we were unable to hear the sound of our own voices and when, after an hour we asked again if we could move outside and mentioned that the loudness was tiring the staff appeared completely unsympathetic and informed us that it was very unlikely for us to move outside. I can understand that at some level it is outside of their control, but we could have been informed much earlier, rather than be assured that we will move.
The main problem of the whole experience was the staff's behaviour. They were borderline rude even when they were at fault with the coke incident and they didn't make any effort to accommodate us properly when we seemed distressed. We left before eating because their behaviour had ruined our evening.
Lovely tapas very authentic. Nice decor and ambience. Buzzy. Good service
Sadly we were disappointed with tapas brindisa shorditch. Service was very good against all odds as it was extremely busy. The real disappointment was the food which was bland. We had a time out discount voucher which helped but not enough to make us return.
Fantastic service and food from a team who work brilliantly together. It was my chap's first visit to somewhere I have repeatedly visited over the years. He had gotten a first for his first year at university and the team here helped to commemorate the occasion with a complimentary cake and a candle on the house. I was touched by their readiness to help us mark this special occasion. We both loved the summer seafood options and we will definitely be back. My favourite dish was the black risotto with fried calamari as it transports me back to my hometown in Sri Lanka. His was the steak from the parilla which was perfect.
Terrible service. Wine arrived after the meal. Two oredered tapas never arrived. Average food. Paella cold and undercooked. Need to get back on track again. When first open in Borough Market the food was excellent!
Really tasty tapas! Would defo go again, it’s worth asking for an outside table
All excellent though a slightly wider menu would be great. Staff were extremely helpful/friendly etc
We arrived and the place looks really nice and cozy - good for all occasions whether you come with friends, family or on a date. The service was really good as well - very attentive. However, the food wasn’t super good and the prices do not match what you get - fortunately we had a timeout voucher where we could get 50% off the food bill.
The food is so yummy! Good as expected I liked everything I tried
This place used to be my favourite Spanish and I have always recommended to all my friends.I took my mum last Sunday to show her how good it was. And here comes the disappointment. I must say the food was very good but the service really really poor no one was looking after our table unless they had to serve a plate. Drinks forgotten and no apology when we told them. To get their attention we had to stand up all the time and go until the till where they where chatting not having care of the few tables around. We order twice the pork because it was superbe but the second time we had it well done even though we specified medium we tried to get again attention but we gave it up. Dessert time (chocolate ganache amazing) my sis order sorbet after Waitress suggestion and ooops sorry we do not have so my sisters di not finish her dinner with dessert! Regarding the bill first attempt wrong bill ! When my partner finally gets the right one we manage to pay because I can finally get the attention of one of them that with an attitude takes out payment. No complains where made there and service was paid because I see my mum few times in a year and I wanted to enjoy it but this place is going down and it is a shame
Perfect atmosphere in La Terazza on a hot Summer evening. The place is great.
Great choice for date night! Food was amazing! Service was attentive and the tapas plates came at a good pace which was positive on a busy Friday evening. Will definitely go back again
Not impressed by the quality of the food. Normal to poor for very basic Spanish tapas. This place wouldn't survive a month in Spain. Expensive too. Even the beer wasn't cold as any Spanish place worth its salt would have. There are plenty places in London that are a lot better.
gone to brindisa for years... always enjoyed it as an everyday quality spanish place.. not this time.. service terrible: ages to get a drink.. then ordered.. certain dishes never turned up despite asking several times about where they were - and then eventually when we asked for the bill no apology whatsoever.. a very dissappointing experience.. seems to be going downhill
Brindisa’s food is amazing it’s real spainish but the offer was disappointing. The photo indicated a lot of charcuterie and it wasn’t £20 for what was in the photo it was £20 each. I asked the waitress if there will be plenty of charcuterie for that price and when it came out there was 2 slices of each meat each and only 3 tiny slices of ham to share between us. Really bad value
The food was very good, not a lot on the plates, very expensive eve, felt rushed.
It was quiet and the service was messy and slow. Not sure what was going on as it’s usally ok.
It’s not as good as it used to be. The one in borough market is better.
Great place to enjoy with friends! Always have fun and good food. The service is very good and nice.
They need a better system IMO - it was busy but not full. If it had been full it would have been complete chaos IMO.
The food was good but service incredibly slow! The first dish came after a long wait, then we waited an exceptionally long time for one more, then again for the next, and the waiter said our other dish was not available. He walked away immediately so we did not even get the chance to order anything else. Oh well! Definitely not a disaster.
Excellent food and service!
Great tapas - olives stuffed with orange, air dried beef and the Monte Enebro were highlights. Waitress was kind enough to offer a try of the wine first and ensured that we made a good decision - buying a carafe is a good option. Restaurant started getting busy around 10.00 so felt more of a Spanish dining experience!
Extremely poor service. To the point that this was embarrassing to me and my client.
Fantastic food and very friendly service.
I’ve been to this place a couple of times and will keep going every time I have the chance
Absolutely delicious, with friendly, personable staff. We visited with a TimeOut black box card (giving us 50% off the food), so we ordered a wide variety of dishes and every one was exceptional, with fresh, flavourful meats, artful use of seasoning and unique and inspiring flavours in each. The only dish which wasn’t that great was the Crema Catalana dessert, which was meh. The venue is pricy without the TimeOut discount, but the food is so good that it’s worth it - we’ll definitely revisit for a special occasion.
very good tapas, a bit noisy and too much ice in the sangria
After hearing such good reports I was very disappointed. The food apart from the tortilla was average at best. The service was very slow and then we were rushed at the end because they were closing.
Food was good, but took about an hour to serve some of the dishes we ordered by which time we didn't really fancy eating them!
Spacious and stylish restaurant, one of a reliable small chain; this one didn't disappoint. The service was really excellent: friendly, efficient and welcoming.
Paella was unbelievably salty. Otherwise, food was nice. Try the cheese platter if you like strong, adventurous cheeses.
Great venue and super food, we really enjoyed our second visit with friends. We sat on the patio which was very comfortable and a perfect place for good wine and food, the staff are so helpful and the services was great.
Very good meal as always. Ordered the special on the night which was lamb chops, completely overpriced for just 3 lamb chops, so I certainly will not be ordering again. Otherwise, the regular menu items were enjoyable as always, quick bite with the family and would definitely recommend.
Amazing tapas restaurant in the heart of Shoreditch, lovely food and atmosphere.
Frederica the hostess is always so warm & welcoming!! She really makes you feel at home there & makes you feel special! That’s one reason why we keep going back! Also they have yummy paella & cocktails 🍸
