Taqueria Tsunami - Sandy Springs
Service was slow due to staffing issues. (Saturday evening at 6)
Mediocre at best. Crying and screaming baby the whole night. Asked manager to help but no dice. Drinks were weak, service was slow. Food average. Liked the cauliflower appetizer.
Awesome service and food
Our server was so nice but the food took forever. There was hardly anyone in there so ambiance was lacking. When the food finally did come, it was the wrong food entirely. So the had to take it back and make us our food quickly.
All in all it took a very long time and we all ate at different times which wasn't enjoyable.
First time there. Really enjoyed having vegetable options!!! Really good!!! Great drinks and enjoyed our server from Boston!!!
Tacos of all kinds superior! Drinks really good. Service was above expectation. Will surely visit again!
The best service ever!!! Definitely going back for more!!!!
Excellent food and drinks, great ambiance and service. Overall a great experience.
I will go back but next time I think I would order a salad instead of the tacos. There was a little too much dough and less filling. My friend had a salad and she enjoyed it a lot. Everything seemed to be very fresh. The decor was fun. The biggest problem was the noise level because we were there in the middle of the lunch hour. Next time I’ll try going before or after 12:30 PM. The staff was nice and friendly and tried to find us a quieter spot but it was impossible. Good for them ....they were busy!
Food was amazing as usual. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I absolutely love this place. The thai chicken tacos and the cauliflower are a must!
On the recommendation of a friend, 6 of us went to this restaurant on a Saturday night. We had no trouble getting a reservation through OpenTable. After putting in our order, we waited one hour (you read that right) before the waiter told us our order "had not made it back to the kitchen." WHAT? The kitchen was not in another city. The manager comped us each 25% off but he seemed befuddled and at a loss to explain how it happened.
Service was excellent. Really enjoyed our meal.
This place was good! A great casual spot. The food is good!
Service was extremely slow. Restaurant was not crowded but our food took a long time. Check was slow.
Made a reservation. Came early sat at the bar. No one was sitting at the bar. One bartender, immediately told us the tater tots sucked. Then we got an appetizer which took about 20 minutes. At which point we asked where I drinks were and the bartender seemed to forget. She didn’t even apologize. Her attitude sucked. First and last time here. Drove OTP to try this place. Will never go back. Even manager didn’t seem to care.
We loved our food but the service was terrible. Wait staff was all hanging out at the front desk ignoring customers. The place was fairly empty for a Sunday afternoon. Bad service gets around and Roswell Rd has a lot of restaurants to chose from. This place won't be open much longer.
Casual date night... really good food, slightly slow service but a cool venue that makes you want to sit there longer anyways!
Too noisy for discussion. Had to hunt down waitress
Pleasantly surprised. Not many patrons on a Thursday night. Wonderful service. Yummy margaritas. I recommend the mango sangrita if you like sweet! Spare rib quesadilla was also delicious. The value is amazing for what you’re use to getting in sandy springs. Definitely recommend!
This restaurant was in the spot of the old Double Zero space in Sandy Springs
There were not many people there - it was very quiet for a Friday night. Still, they seemed understaffed. It took nearly 20 minutes to get drinks and at that point, our cheese dip appetizer still hadn't arrived (they did bring salsa after about 5 minutes). We had to ask 2 people about it, and when it finally arrived, it was cold. Not sure if they just ran out and were scrambling to get more hot or what, but it was inedible. They did take it off our bill, which I appreciated. The waitress was sweet, I just think she was stretched thin, despite the place being slow.
The food was okay, but the flavors were pretty bland. They are Asian/Latin fusion, but don't really use any of the bolder flavors from either culture.
The jalapeno margarita was good, and very reasonably priced, which was nice.
So the experience wasn't great, but was mitigated by the management realizing they had messed up and comping our appetizer. As for fusion flavor, we will stick with TaKorea as the food is way superior.
Birthday dinner for my teen twins with their friends
Service was slow with few 14 people in restaurant. Good was better than expected.
The food was amazing! The choices and presentation were great...but we did run into an issue...the service was so slow that a leaving patron commented on how it's taken so long for us to get our food...it seems that two of the people in charge of preparing the food called off...so our wait person was doing double duty...
But overall...I loved the food and would give them another chance to shine.
Great friendly fast service, tacos were delicious. I enjoyed the experience. Thank you!
it was great
The orders were delivered quickly and were very delicious! The atmosphere was elegant and chill. Servers and hostesses were very attentive.
Group of 6 women meeting for girls night. Everything was wonderful - the food, service , atmosphere
Good spot.. quick service
Date night ☺️
I dined at this restaurant but it was the one on the Marietta Square, I have never been and it was as good as everyone has told me about, I am going again soon and will order something different because I like to try new dishes
Our food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Very reasonable prices, too. Recommend the cauliflower - yum! The cucumber salad side is worth the trip alone; super thin, crispy and vinegary. My friend thought the shrimp garden quesadilla had too much "garden", especially corn. Otherwise tasty, though. Atmosphere is a bit industrial New England, but we were early and hardly anyone was there; it might seem more appealing if there were a crowd.
Awesome vegetarian options!!! Beautiful decor! I just need a queso fountain
The food was really really good. And so was the tsmani wave drink. Our waiter was Marquis and and he was super attentive and knowledgeable. Also the prices are great
Great margaritas!! Delicious tacos.
nice friendly place ,clean, good service, lot of parking space
Great food and great service!
Wonderful food but the service could have been better. The server was super nice but disappeared after I got my food and never came back. I was out of my margarita and would have liked another one about half-way through my meal but by the time the manager stopped by, I was finished with my meal. He was great and apologized for the poor service. He explained they had gotten very busy on the other side of the restaurant and he removed my margarita off my check. I will definitely be back as the food was great and the manager was terrific!
Unique menu, guacamole is a MUST, avoid live entertainment (loud).
