   We were disappointed that what started off as a good meal with good service ultimately disappointed. The food was adequate at best with small portions, cold pizza, and our waiter disappeared in the middle of our meal. I’ve enjoyed the UWS location and recommended this location in Union Square for a family outing, so I was surprised by how below average it was.

   Everything we ate was great. Ceasar salad- yum. Meatballs- yes. Polpo- best I’ve had. Will I return? Oh yeah.

   We spent New Year’s Eve at this restaurant, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! First of all, the service was excellent: we were warmly greeted by a friendly hostess who set the tone for the evening. The waitress was professional and attentive, ensuring everything was served promptly. The food deserves special praise: the portions were European-style — not overly large but perfectly satisfying, which we truly appreciated. Every dish was delicious and made with high-quality ingredients. The music added to the festive atmosphere and made the evening even more enjoyable. The only slight drawback was the limited space, but we understand this is common in many New York City restaurants. Overall, it was a fantastic way to ring in the New Year. Thank you to the restaurant for such a wonderful start to the year!

   Salad with artichokes was very good. Wine selection also very good but cacio e pepe was oily, not creamy. Would return.

    Meatballs were tasty with an excellent sauce.The roasted cauliflower starter was excellent with a bit of spice . Shrimp risotto was cooked perfectly.The wild shrimp were the right temperature and not overcooked,The linguine alla vongole was cooked al dante with a little bit of spice.We had a cheese course for dessert .It was served at room temperature which is the way to serve it.The Italian wine list is extensive with reasonable prices.Service was excellent and very attentive. An excellent restaurant with reasonable prices and an excellent staff
