Excellent food. Impeccable service. Festive atmosphere.
Yes; fantastic food, service and atmosphere as always. Would prefer a chilled glass and beer wasn't quite cool enough.
Everything was incredible - staff, drinks and food.
Food was amazing as usual but we felt rushed
As it was my graduation meal I was expecting a laid back atmosphere but staff made us feel rushed due to the pace of bringing our food (even when we had not finished the last course)
But staff were friendly enough and obviously we loved our evening
Thank you for making it special with the fizzier!
We will deffo be coming back... just maybe not in peak service times
Our first time at Tattu. If it didn't involve a 500+ mile round trip, we'd be back next week!
We will certainly return!
The food was nice, the staff were helpful. I recommend the baby squid starter.
Absolutely loved this restaurant. To be honest I wasn’t expecting much as haven’t eaten Chinese for a few years, but was blown-away! Really great food, excellent service and the ambiance was wonderful.
Truly lovely food. Definitely be going back. Staff and food great. Been several times now and will be going again real soon.
Service was amazing. Such attention to detail. Clearly some good training of the staff.
Excellent food, wine and cocktails. DJ is just at the right level. Great choice of music that sits nicely in the background. Nice touch.
Stunning food in a beautiful setting. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
I have dined at Tattu Leeds numerous times and have always left extremely satisfied with the food and service. I went to Tattu on Saturday and the food was superb as usual, however the service wasn’t as good. When we ordered the food we was not told it was served on a bone until our server returned to inform us 15 minutes after ordering, by which point we was not prepared to change our order however if we had been informed when ordering we would of reconsidered, but this was fine as the chicken was lovely regardless. The server knew very little about the slight change in the menu, which isn’t helpful for retuning diners who’s favourite’s are no longer on the menu (which is fine, but suggestions on alternatives would of been nice and appreciated). When ordering cocktails it was a run back and forth from the bar to see if they had the ingredients in stock as it was out of stock the day before, understandable to check but could have been done in advance. Usually I have no hesitation at paying the 10% service charge however it is stated that it is discretionary, on Saturday I did not feel that the full 10% was deserved, however when we did not pay the 10% we were accused of underpaying which is not a great experience, we then had to explain about the service charge which was awkward and it then took 10 minutes for us to receive our change. I think this member of staff just assumed that everyone pays the 10%,which I often do however this situation is not something which I expect of Tattu.
Fabulous restaurant with cherry blossom trees and subdued lighting. Great venue for romantic meals and also for larger groups. The food was amazing and our waitress Maddie explained each dish as it arrived. She was attentive but not intrusive as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Would recommend this venue to all !
Awesome food and great atmosphere
Our first visit and I’m sure it won’t be our last. The welcome was warm and friendly. All the staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. We intended to eat from the small lunch menu but ended up splurging a bit and it was worth it. The food tastes as good as it looks and the service was excellent. A good selection of wines at a huge range of prices. We also had a couple of cocktails each which were all very good. We sat at the bar after our meal for a cocktail and all the guys behind the bar were very friendly and chatty. Yes if you go al a carte it a bit pricy and a treat. But there’s plenty to choose on the small menu which makes it pretty reasonable. Well done Tattu we had a wonderful visit.
It was our first time visiting the restaurant and the services was excellent. We were a little early so we sat at the bar and the waitress approached us when our table was ready.
The look of the restaurant is gorgeous. The drinks were superb. The food was excellent, although I found the duck starter was very salty (too salty for me but my partner loved them!).
Only negative I have to say is that it was very cold in the restaurant- to the point that I had goosebumps and found it a little unbearable.
Other than that, we loved it and would recommend, and I have done already, to friends and family!
Thought food was average at best, salty and didn’t seem fresh.
£200 for 2 of us and we left hungry
Usually love this place, but last 2 times we’ve been disappointed
Beautiful setting, great menu, attentive staff. Lovely meal. I’ll be back.
Beautiful place and food amazing and staff 10/10. Excellent service
Perfect service, perfect food and perfect atmosphere
It is a really nice setting, excellent service just very expensive for what it is. To be fair it is not my preferred choice of food but it is worth a trip for the surroundings and service. Be prepared for a hefty bill !
Very helpful staff! The waiter we had was very informative and knew what he was talking about. They also recommend drinks and food which made it easier to decide what to eat and drink. The food was very tasty and a nice quick service but we didn’t feel rushed. I would highly recommend this to anyone and would definitely come again. Overall very happy!
Loved it. The only reason I gave 4 stars for food is because the salt in the main dishes was too much for me.
Amazing food and cocktails, friendly knowledgeable service and good value for money
The food here was outstanding! Lovely surroundings, really friendly staff. The belly pork bites are friggin amazballs. You have to try this place!
Perfect meal for our wedding anniversary.
Amazing food and cocktails will be attending again.
Great place to eat and good vibes. Food is amazing, although very expensive in my opinion.
A truly fab evening
Great starters, but sadly the mains were not at the same level. Good decor but very loud music. Cheesy service, that wasn't quite the right balance between helpful and snooty.
overall we had a lovely evening and couldn't fault the food although I do think it's slightly overpriced . Our only grievance was the service charge which I know is optional but we like most people were embarrassed to ask for it to be removed and since we spent £250 which is a huge amount between three of us anyway but to then have £25 service charge added was a extremely annoying as we would have left a tip although not as much obviously since we feel we paid a great deal for the food to start with .
A really lovely experience. Food tasted and looked incredible, service was really good so big thank you to Maddie our waitress. A treat all round.
Our second visit, the last one 18m, ago and everything remains top class. The food quality is excellent and our 70pp set menu was devine. The "black cod" course was the standout dish for us. Service great. Overall experience faultless.
Loved they way that the menu was explained. All the dishes we ordered were delicious.
Drinks were rather pricey.
Food was way too salty. Amazing service but the food seriously let itself down
Amazing food but atrocious service. Had to send back the main as came out cold and didn’t return for ages. Too long between courses and waitress seemed to avoid us. Would recommend at half the price but expect better for what we paid.
Staff were attentive from the moment we walked in, we asked to sit in the outdoor area so were shown to a lovely table, staff were there as soon as we wanted to order. Food was beautifully presented and as tasty as always and we really enjoyed ourselves, thank you.
We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary on a Monday night in July, it was quite busy which was a good sign for a generally quiet Monday night in Leeds. Tattu didn't disappoint, the service was excellent and the food was outstanding - portion sizes just right - we cleared our plates of every last bit of food. It wasn't the cheapest but as my dad says "You get what you pay for". We will definitely be back.
Excellent friendly service, great ambience and good food.
First time at the restaurant and didn’t know what to order the waitress that looked after us was very helpful
The first time I went to Tattu in Leeds it was amazing - food was great and service was lovely.
This time however, the food was just OK, and that’s all. The service was also lacking, we paid £70 per head, no one clears away excess plates unless asked (which was almost every time), didn’t check on how we were doing and they even got annoyed that we left certain bits of the food.
Maybe it was a different chef that night, or the waiter wasn’t having a good day, but it was really poor for the money .
Disco or restaurant? The noise level at 8pm on a Saturday night is something else. More bar / club than high end dining (because it’s prices are high end). Maybe I’m too old.
