Tattu takes inspiration from body art and its rich history, inviting guests on a sensory journey from East to West, delivering a unique experience unlike any other.
The food was amazing, great service and atmosphere good. Will definitely be back again.
Food and atmosphere is excellent, a little pricey but worth every penny 👍
Great food and beautifully decorated restaurant. The short beef ribs were melt in the mouth and the duck spring rolls packed with duck. The dim sum was very good as were all the main dishes we ordered including the monkfish. The deserts were very large and we shared 2 between 5 of us. Highly recommend the fortune cookie desert. This restaurant has great food and is good value
Superb throughout all staff excellent and the food a different class
First time we'd been, waitress was very helpful and really glad we took her advice on board. Food was excellent, we will be back.
Really enjoyed our meal & the service was excellent. Really attentive & even gave our daughter a lesson on using chop sticks.
Didn’t make much of an effort for the birthday girl very expensive for what it was and they kept on getting the drinks order wrong
Not really what its advertised as, Tattu cant decide if it wants to try be fine-dining or if it wants to be an energetic party food place.
The food itself is pretty good, but its not the fine-dining experience you would expect when compared to places like Craft House.
We did the emperors choice which was £100 per person, with a service charge of 15% + drinks you're looking at around £300 per couple. For that price it just didnt hit the mark.
1) Incredibly loud music with an inhouse DJ, not suitable for a romantic meal which the scenery and photos imply.
2) Tables are pretty close together so you end up hearing your neighbours conversations and can feel a bit too close quarters.
3) Service is fine, but its not the 'fine dining' service youd expect, its more the waiter rushes the food over to your table, flys through what is then wonders straight off to do something else.
4) General clientel is pretty young and it seemed to be 'all about the instagram' for a lot of people there
Lobster was tasty as was the wagyu beefs, but once again cant decide if it wants to be fine-dining by adding in a bunch of unnecessary sides, almost as if they wanted to go for an exquisite course but weren't brave enough to let the very tasty wagyu/lobster stand on its own.
All of this isnt to say its a bad restraruant, its just not in line with expectations for the price range. It would be a fine place to go on a company expenses party or something similar but definitely would reccomend the alternate fine-dining places if youre after a romantic 1-on-1 more matured environment.
We’ve happily dined at Tattu a few times now, but we were left a bit disappointed after our most recent visit. To begin with we were seated right by the bar, so experienced a chilling draft every time the doors opened and had a constant stream of waiters stood right beside us waiting to deliver drinks, food and serve tables. We asked if we could move tables and were told something about a larger table finishing up so they’ll see what they could do, only to never hear back. The food was delicious as always, but we were very annoyed at the lobster we ordered. Costing £55 we were met with the most anorexic looking lobster we’ve ever been served in a restaurant and to make matters worse there was no claw meat. The manager did note our complaint on the lobster, agreed the supply has been small recently, but assured us the claw meat was removed and added into the dish. It definitely wasn’t there! We have our suspicions the claw meat is removed and used in the lobster starters. Considering it’s sold as a WHOLE LOBSTER at £55, under the LARGE plates section of the menu might I add, you’d expect to at least get all of the lobster, including the claw meat. The manager offered free desserts, which we appreciated, but although the food tasted incredible, the overall experience has left us very unimpressed. Overall I’d say quality is up there but the quantity is very poor, it’s overpriced for what you get and if you’re selling a whole lobster at £55 actually serve a whole lobster! Be very interesting to know how many grams the lobsters served actually are.
Beautiful food, sons 18th birthday, even brought out a special little surprise for him. Only down size was we struggled for room on the tiny little round table we were crammed onto with the courses of the set menus.
Amazing quality of food. Really nice interior design. Our host Jordan, was brilliant. We felt that the place was a bit crowded, but overall we really enjoyed this place and we will be back. Thanks to all of the team at Tattu Leeds
Amazing birthday meal for my girlfriend. Great place to socialise
Amazing from start to finish
Beautiful food worth every penny . Will deffo be returning.
Amazing atmosphere, incredible food!! My favourite place in leeds
Very nice ambiance - but expensive for what it is. Food is just ok.
Absolutely love Tattu, thanks again for a lovely meal and evening
Great Restaurant with amazing scenery. I Would definitely recommend others to dine here.
Excellent service, amazing food. Drinks are extremely expensive but the food prices are as expected for a fancy meal and well worth it.
Very impressed with both the choice and quality of the food and the cocktails. All the staff were extremely well mannered. Our server, Gavin, was extremely helpful and had very strong knowledge of the menu. Overall it was an excellent dining experience that I would recommend.
Went to Tattu with my partner who’s vegetarian.
We started with tempura vegetables which were okay the aubergine were pretty greasy which made them impossible to eat but the rest of the veg was very nice .
Main course I had duck which was amazing and my partner had noodles which she found a little bland but still said it was nice, although the main disappointment came with desserts I had a cheery mousse which was very nice and well presented but my partners dessert which was brownie for £11!! Was appalling the brownie came and it looked like something a child would have put together as It had 3 massive bits of brownie glued together with mascarpone. The brownie was really poor quality even I found it to be dry, tasteless and very disappointing, I wouldn’t be surprised if they bought the brownie in frozen , it was the worst dessert I’ve ever been served in a restaurant.
We enjoyed the restaurant's decor, amazing service by the staff, not too loud, the meat was a bit overcooked for medium, and they did forget the birthday thing at the end, but I would recommend this restaurant as an overall experience
Great dining experience, food is amazing. Stunning decor and a great atmosphere, cannot wait to go again.
Very friendly, attentive and helpful staff, food was excellent quality and wide ranging in options and flavours. The restaurant was very clean, well presented and the location was ideally situated.
A very positive experience I will be sure to repeat.
Was ok. Massive play on the decor which was superb but I kinda got the feeling we were overpaying due to the lush surroundings. The food was good, not brilliant but good. We asked for a nice private table so she stuck us right in the middle of the floor, doh! We then asked if we could eat upstairs but she said no due to a private party arriving soon. All in all a nice dining experience but not quite worth the prices.
Absolute pleasure. Food was amazing, service was spot on and atmosphere was great. Can’t wait to go again. Highly recommended
Excellent food, definitely at the more refined and of the spectrum, but still filling and very satisfying. Would highly recommend the vegetarian "chicken". Great cocktails too. Staff were friendly, knowledgable and attentive without being intrusive.
Excellent restaurant this was our first visit staff where extremely friendly and helpful explaining all the food to us and food was excellent as where cocktails we where seated upstairs and the ambience was lovely will definitely be returning x
Fantastic meal, service and restaurant setting. I will recommend it to everyone and come back again!!!
Amazing food and amazing service, absolutely fantastic would highly recommend
My only negative was that it felt like eating dinner in a club. The music was very loud and fast, combining this with the food coming out very quickly (we had the Menu 2 sharer, we hadn't finished Wave 1 before Wave 2 come out) meant I did feel rushed. We actually finished our 4 wave meal in an hour & 20 minutes - no time to digest!
However, the food was sensational. The soy & truffle oil sauce with the chicken bonbons was delicious and Cherry Blossom dessert was amazing - possibly my favourite dessert ever with great theatre. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgable.
I cannot thank Tattu enough. Myself and my boyfriend went on a Saturday night to celebrate his 25th birthday.
Gavin (I think that was his name; he has a beard and moustache.. :)) was amazing! He was such a laugh, great to talk to, provided top service and even suggested a bar to go to after our meal (which we went to and LOVED). He presented my boyfriend with a sparkler and fortune cookie to celebrate his birthday and definitely made it a special evening for us both. We hope he gets the recognition he deserves. A top guy!
The food was unbelievably amazing. Every mouthful was jam packed with delicious flavours. Gluten free options were great and easily identifiable.
Thank you again. A great evening!
Amazing dining experience, will definitely be back to explore the menu more. Service from Jordan & his trainee was absolutely faultless, dj was great, food was amazing.
Food was gorgeous and the decor is beautiful, the guy (can’t remember his name) was efficient, had recommendations and looked after us whilst we dined! Only thing was the automatic 15% depository they add to the bill I just hope it goes to the staff and not the companies pocket!
Amazing food ! And amazing restaurant! Staff very good.
Very average service. Didn't see a manager upstairs all evening. Waiters knew the food but weren't interested in being there. No upselling, no repeat drinks orders. Had a mock tail and some water which I finished after starters didn't get asked after that if I wanted anything else to drink. Miso Cod dish was simply disgusting. When asked told the waiter it wasn't the best meal. No check back during meal. Cleared plates gave bill, paid and left with no further questions. I guess 600 covers on a weekend means you don't need to be attentive I guess
Great food and atmosphere. 1st time I’ve been and looking fwd to revisiting soon.
