Best meal me and my partner have eaten! A bit pricey but definitely worth it for a treat
unfortunately we experienced several of the dishes and drinks were sold out - but otherwise very delicious food and nice atmosphere.
I would give the starters five stars and the main courses three. I had a taste of my friends mains and found them all underwhelming unfortunately. I would like to give this place a second chance seeing as there's one opening up in my city and will try a different dish next time.
Third time we have visited Tattu Manchester and sadly the food quality has deteriorated from our first visit over 12 months ago. Food was quite bland and portions small. The small plate for the main course was telling as there wasn’t a lot of food. The food is very expensive which is fine if it is special but it wasn’t.
The food was amazing so tasty as were the cocktails
Excellent food with an twist on traditional chinese cuisine to provide a contemporary dining experience. The small plates are great for sharing and three main courses were sufficient for four people. Wine list is limited and rather pricey for the quality. Service is attentive and you don't feel rushed and the restaurant ambience is good with striking decor. Overall it is a good restaurant for a special occasion as it is pricey.
Food amazing, service very good, best Restaurant in Manchester
Loved the decor, atmosphere and service. Great food, squid amazing! Definitely recommend to friends :)
The food was cold due to the staff not knowing what each table had ordered
Beautiful Resturant, Amazing Décor, very attentive and polite staff, explained the dishes to us and how they are made, very informative, quick service too considering it was very busy, pricey but perfect for a special occasion, highly recommend
Food was tremendous and the service was spot on.
Will definitely return
Personally, I'd probably do away with the downstairs seating. It didn't feel calm or relaxed at all. As it was my Husband's birthday, it really didn't set the mood for us. Rhe food was lovely though.
Excellent food and service. Great atmosphere and decor with varied and interesting food and drinks menus.
Not value for money, the beef dish was luke warm, starters were good.
Were given a poor table too near the kitchen area with poor views, staff conastantly rushing past and standing hovering nearby waiting for orders. Food was poor, one dish was very bland and had to send back two dishes as were at best luke warm on reaching us. Staff also forgot to bring parts of our order. Not given any reduction on bill, to be fair the cold food was replaced with fresh hot dishes. Overall a very poor experience for my wifes birthday, would not to again
However I did highlight the service on this occasion was slow but the food is good
If you are in the mood for Asian food, you should come to Tattu. The atmosphere and decor is beautiful and the food is delicious. It is a little pricey and definitely make reservations if you plan on going here.
Took ages for someone to come and take our orders after sitting down and starters came out 25 minutes apart which meant the mains took even longer to arrive
Amazing restaurant, ordered the set menu and a mixed dim sum starter , the food was outstanding, alongside the beautiful interior of the restaurant made this a must visit ! Also don’t think you will get small plates with the set menu the portion size was very big compared to what we were expecting
Faultless food and wonderful service.
Beautiful place, sat under the cherry tree. It was a Monday lunch time so very quiet but this meant it was like our own private dining experience. The staff was very attentive, the food was amazing. It was my daughter’s 21st birthday they gave her a sparkler foaming celebration candle.
We were dining in a booth which was very nice, but dark, could or see the menu that we'll, XO rice too sweet also needs a set of toilets upstairs, overall better than the Ivy but could be better.
Probably the best food in Manchester and a great service.
Food quality does not match the price - wthe meal cost £140 for two people and we have had similar priced meals in restaurants in the same area that were far superior in taste and ambience
Our server was very polite and helpful.
When we arrived at the restaurant, we were shown to a table in a booth section. The table was sticky (drinking glass stuck to table), crumbs on the bench seating.
Although the restaurant was extremely quiet, we felt rushed throughout the whole service. The waitress even began clearing away plates whilst we were still eating.
The food itself was fine, but the whole experience (including cleanliness) was poor.
All in all, not a great experience.
My only criticism was that the tables were very close together. To say that the restaurant was quite expensive a little more area around your table would be appreciated. The next tables chair was literally touching our table.
The restaurant was cool and well done. Felt rushed as the table was time limited
Booked for my daughters 21st, had a great pre theatre dinner with cocktails
Another lovely meal with excellent service, would recommend Tattu
Expensive and small portions
Ran out of some starters limited choice
Food was amazing. Yes it may be a little on the expensive side but I believe it is worth it. Not only was the food amazing but the staff were very polite and helpful and I will be 100% going back ! The way the restaurant is decorated is also a massive plus.
We enjoyed our lunch at Tattu Manchester but the food wasn’t quite as good as previous visits; specifically, some dishes were a little bland and would have benefitted from more seasoning or spice. This, coupled with the close proximity of two loud and obnoxious, adversely impacted our overall enjoyment a little.
Amazing decor and food excellent
Fantastic food, excellent service, great vibe
Good place to eat. Lovely interior design. Food was alright.
Amazing food, amazing service highly recommended, definetly will be returning
Do people who understand food actually dine here or is it just a instagram moment for the copious amounts of young people who frequent the restaurant. Every time we looked up someone was striking a pose against the cherry blossom back-drop and whilst you expect this in a restaurant where the decor is outstanding. You do not expect to see the same person for 20 minutes having a photo-shoot.
The service is okay, if not a little relaxed.
The food was okay, soft shell crab was good, the texture of the dumplings and the bite is strange, not the most pleasant of dishes to eat. Beef carpaccio was good quality.
Prawn and Lobster toast was poor for £9, Short Rib was dry, Scallop was dry.
Menus were filthy and the place is dusty. As an experience it was poor, there is no atmosphere, apart from younf person prancing around worrying about the content of there social media account.
Fabulous place, fabulous food & fabulous service, can’t wait for my next visit!
Amazing food and amazing service with a beautiful setting!
