The brunch was perfect. My shrimp and asparagus omelet was delicious. The plate was hot. I love that. The meal is warm for the entire thing. Will return!
This is usually a fantastic regular of mine but it was utterly disappointing this time round . Service was very poor , forgotten starters , then forgotten drinks .the waitress wrote nothing down , repeatedly asked us the same questions and was completely useless for all of the service. The food was overcooked ( steak was burnt and I was not served the sauce I asked for which should have been rich and creamy , instead it was runny , greasy and over spicy ) and the gnocchi was grey and should not have been served AT ALL. We did notice there was only 1 chef and it was utter chaos by the looks of things. Manager did offer us replacement but no bloody good when the rest of your party have finished their food . Very very poor !!! Get your act together Taverna . You will have 1 last chance
Food was very good and staff was very friendly. Would definitely come back when next in Fort Worth!
Excellent food! We will.go there again!
First time having dinner here. The staff was over the top serving us. The food was fantastic. We even went back the next morning for brunch.
I always enjoy dining at Taverna. They have an excellent menu and wine list. The service was very attentive. I plan on returning very soon.
Food was good. Server was rushing us for each step of the meal and brought us the bill before we asked for it. Considering it was our anniversary celebration, we wanted to take our time and enjoy ourselves.
As usual, brunch was exceptional!
One of our faves, especially Sunday for lunch. Our group had pizza, pasta, seafood and salads. All were excellent. Bellinis were delish. Always a treat.
It was the perfect place to meet friends that I haven’t seen in a long time.
Food is delish. People are great. Becoming our fav place in FW!!
Fantastic food, friendly staff. Favorite brunch stop my the family
Excellent dinning experience. Have been several times and will continue to dine at Taverna.
Always an excellent restaurant. Service one of the friendliest restaurants in town. And the pizza and risotto best in town! Right now, due to the corona virus, they are being careful. More restrictive than any restaurant in Fort Worth. Too much so--lighten up! Plastic curtains are overkill and not appreciated. And going in one door and out another---only restaurant in town doing so, and totally unnecessary.
But--great restaurant and even better service. When this media pandemic is over, it will be even better!
Great steak as well as pasta dishes
Finally we're stating to see more restaurants opening following the Fort Worth Stay at Home. The food was great, the employees are personable and we'll return.
Great place. Glad they were open during this time. One of the first restaurants we have visited in months. Great staff and food was perfect.
Fist time back since February. As always, food is incredibly good, and service is great. Martina is the best! Highly recommend this restaurant.
Food was fantastic and service was even better.
Restricted to 25% capacity, Taverna did a good job of distancing diners. Our server and hostess as well as two managers were appropriately cautious about proper precautions and masks. Unfortunately, one server (wasn’t ours) kept her mask beneath her nose when it wasn’t pulled below her chin. Had she been our server, we would have walked. Food was great, our server attentive without “too much”. I had noted it was our anniversary on the reservation, but it wasn’t mentioned. Note: this is a noisy place. Even with my hearing aids I could not even distinguish what our server sail. My wife had to repeat everything for me because the background noise is significant, even at low capacity.
Excellent service but unfortunately one if the four meals we ordered was so salty. Besides that all was good.
Outstanding food, service and management. Troubling times but this place is a must visit!
Loved the food and the ambiance! We had a great date night out!!
My friend and I had lunch
We loved it. The staff was awesome and the food amazing.
Great food, exceptional service as always. Best Italian in downtown Fort Worth
The menu seems limited. The items were specialized. Not just normal Italian food fare. Was not a fan of the menu selections. Food was average. Nothing great.
Food was awesome as were the waiters. Servers were very conscious of social distancing’s new guidelines. The wore masks & gloves.
Great food and service. Loved the Shrimp Scampi. Will definitely return.
My server was really good and appreciative of us coming in...I commend everyone for coming back and putting up with the masks! And food was good as well
They did a great job with being sanitary. All their staff wore masks and they kept everyone seated far apart from each other.
I’ve dined at Taverna for my last two birthdays and it’s always good. I’ve gone there for several other special occasions. Good food and service.
Server and food excellent. Must go if you are looking for a nice dinner.
Overall the look of the restaurant was very nice although I expected something a little more fancy. Our appetizers were ok, the caprese salad was good but the focaccia with prosciutto was very nothing. The entrees were fine as well although my lasagna was gummy on the bottom. And the tiramisu was tasty but too sweet.
One of my favorite restaurants in Fort Worth! Some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had plus the staff is always so kind.
All of our food tasted amazing! We got the bruschetta, truffle risotto (light on the truffle which was perfect!) and the pear walnut pasta and everything was SO tasty! We couldn’t decide on the dessert so we got two - tiramisu and Nutella cheesecake! Both were so good but our preference was the cheesecake (more flavorful) but you can’t beat coffee and tiramisu in my opinion. We went on a Tuesday night so there weren’t many people there but the atmosphere was lovely and we so enjoyed our time!
The Pecan Oldie was a DELICIOUS cocktail!
We hd a great experience at Taverna. The food was delicious. The service was great and the atmosphere was awesome. I would definitely go back. It was perfect for our special occasion.
We had a lovely Saturday night at Taverna. The food was fantastic, our server was polite, prompt, and anticipated our needs, and the cocktails we ordered were enjoyed by all. I was pleased when we came in 45 minutes prior to our reservation and were able to be seated right away. Overall the experience was very pleasant. The only negative thing we experienced during our visit was my interaction with the hostess. She clearly did not want to be at work and was rude in body language and tone. I brushed it off though and the rest of the visit was perfect!
To be rated 4.5 ...it was very disappointing. Asked to sit along the wall because it was easier with little kids and was told “that’s reserved for big groups - which never happened. They serve Italian wines but have no one that can tell you about them. Have
more potatoes than pasta.
Shrimp and pasta was so spicy I couldn’t eat most of the shrimp - which I’m not so sure were fresh. It’s okay Italian .... but certainly NOT a place I’d return. Think Disneys Epcot or Romano’s macaroni grill. Bummer
