Taverna Opa is located on the 2nd floor of Pointe Orlando, conveniently located near the Orange County Convention Center, SeaWorld and Universal Studios theme parks.
Fresh Greek and Mediterranean cuisine with our nightly entertainment has made Taverna Opa the top dining destination in Orlando. Open daily at 11:30am.
Please Park on the 3rd level of the parking garage if possible.
Please note on Fridays and Saturdays and during peak season, reservations after 6:30pm are priority seating not a reservation. What this means is, as soon as your entire party is present, you will be moved onto our seating list and as soon as a table opens for your group, you will be sat. There is usually a wait at that point of a minimum of 30 minutes. *There is a food order minimum for indoor table service Fri & Sat.

We loved our experience…we had several items and all delicious. This is not a place to have a quiet conversation. It’s a place to people watch and enjoy some good food; just a little bit loud for me. However, I’d totally go again!!

Nice place to go have fun with your friends or family. The dancers are so nice! I love how everyone connects there! Food is good, worth the price! Our server Rafael was very nice too. But the music is loooouudd!!! 🙈

Great night at Taverna Opa! Our server Ash was attentive and fantastic from start to finish. The Greek salad was excellent, and my wife loved her salmon and falafel. My filet came out a bit past medium rare, but manager Niko offered to remake it right away — great gesture, even though I'd already eaten most of it. He also brought over a complimentary Greek shot, a nice touch. :) For dessert, my wife raved about the baklava, and I loved the loukoumades (Greek donuts) — so good. The belly dancer was a blast — even got pulled in to dance myself, lol. Fun, lively atmosphere with genuinely great service. Highly recommend for a good time and solid Greek food! :)

The atmosphere and decorations are absolutely beautiful, and I really loved the overall ambiance. Our table for 14 people was ready when we arrived, and we didn’t have to wait at all. In Orlando, that is practically a miracle! Great job making sure everything was ready for such a large group. My only disappointment with our experience was the music. It was simply far too loud. The person sitting right beside me could barely hear me, and unfortunately, we practically sat in silence for much of our meal because it was so difficult to have a conversation. I completely understand wanting the restaurant to feel energetic, lively, and fun, and the music certainly created that atmosphere. However, the volume was overwhelming and took away from the dining experience for our group. Overall, a beautiful setting and a great job accommodating our large party. I would definitely suggest turning the music down just a bit so guests can actually enjoy the atmosphere and conversation too.

I expected a Greek restaurant with a belly dancer walking around entertaining everyone, which I’ve experienced before. This was more of a nightclub that happens to have food, which was not at all what I expected from the website or for a 730 dinner reservation. The food was good, although the waiter was really distracted or too busy with other tables because we hardly saw him. The belly dancer never made it to our side of the restaurant so it was just like eating in a really loud restaurant

The ambience in the restaurant is amazing. You can tell everybody’s having a good time. People dancing on top of tables napkins flying in the air. I wouldn’t recommend it too much for kids even though it’s not a bad restaurant for kids. It’s more for adults. Very festive great music great drinks. Whoever comes to this restaurant will not be disappointed. The only one thing if you wanna come to have a quiet intimate dinner this is not the place. The music is loud. The people are dancing. It’s a part zone. Great establishment would recommend it to anybody. I will come here again
