The original library and drawing room of Taypark House is the perfect home for our impressive restaurant. Each room enjoys uninterrupted views across the botanical gardens and the beautiful, shimmering River Tay. We've sympathetically restored these two rooms to highlight their original features, whilst adding our own modern vintage twist - like the hanging teapot lamps dangling from the ornate plaster ceiling, or the cluster chandelier with pretty, patterned lampshades draped from the central rose. It really is an incredible setting for delicious dining.

Our award winning chef Glenn Roach who has previously held 3 AA rosettes and now already earned 1 AA rosette with his take on home cooking looks to recrate classic dishes and lets the locally sourced produce speak for it self

    Nice old Hotel, good parking within the grounds. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The Drawing room /Dining room was cosy and has some period features. We had the two course menu and chose the slow cooked shin of beef pie, It was excellent, it was served on a wooden platter with pots of mash, marrowbone gravy and buttered vegetables. The portions were generous and everything was delicious, all followed by the cheese board, again good portions and a selection of fruit, cheese, chutney and oatcakes. Great value on an itison voucher.

    We love the decor and location at Tay Park. It’s artistically creative in every corner. Being close to the town centre one wouldn’t expect so much greenery as the grounds have a country feel. It is also possible to see the River Tay from the Hotel. The staff are very welcoming and the seating area of the bar is comfortable. We are in the drawing room and enjoyed the lunch menu. The Shin of Beef Pie with its accompaniments was delicious and very filling. It’s definitely a restaurant worth returning to again and again.

    Always fabulous food and service. The servers are so attentive and make sure the food is to your liking. I mainly use taypark for breakfast , brunch and lunch. I have bmbever been disappointed with either the service or the food. Top class

    As ever good food. Nice atmosphere. Derive a bit variable. No lemon in a G&T. Moving from Gin bar to restaurant and back again would expect drinks to be moved for me by the staff. At least asking if we needed help. All needs tightening up.

    Great service . Everything clear and helpful .We use an Itison voucher . The Beef shin pie was exceptional. Tasty starters ,wonderful mains and the cheese course was enough for 2 and more ! Tay park is an outstanding restaurant venue .

    Beautiful food, freshly cooked, hot and plentiful - we had the brunch and we loved it. Great coffee too! Beautiful service, friendly and welcoming when we got there - lovely atmosphere and the hotel is set in rich green leafy grounds with a stunning view of the Tay. We are going back for the three course lunch and we cant wait to try the afternoon tea. Highly recommended.
