The original library and drawing room of Taypark House is the perfect home for our impressive restaurant. Each room enjoys uninterrupted views across the botanical gardens and the beautiful, shimmering River Tay. We've sympathetically restored these two rooms to highlight their original features, whilst adding our own modern vintage twist - like the hanging teapot lamps dangling from the ornate plaster ceiling, or the cluster chandelier with pretty, patterned lampshades draped from the central rose. It really is an incredible setting for delicious dining.

Our award winning chef Glenn Roach who has previously held 3 AA rosettes and now already earned 1 AA rosette with his take on home cooking looks to recrate classic dishes and lets the locally sourced produce speak for it self

    Two course lunch was absolutely fabulous. The portion size was generous and the food cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. We had the belly pork starter which provided a delicious combination of flavours with the black pudding fritter and apple. We then had the beef shin pie which was absolutely delicious, the pie was filled with plenty of meat topped with pastry, separate pot of buttery mash, gravy and a beautifully fresh medley of veg cooked to perfection. The food and presentation provided a feast for the taste buds and the eyes. The staff were very friendly, courteous and efficient. The setting is lovely with stunning views of the gardens and Tay. Well worth the visit and without doubt we will be making a return.

    We both enjoyed our visit to Taypark House, we had a delicious 2-course lunch, and the staff were very welcoming and attentive. We would recommend it to anyone and we will return soon.

    Great food as always & the lunch offer menu good value. Only disappointment was that items on the menu were not available at such an early time of the day.

    Lovely place, but disappointing service, no conversation from the staff, not asked how our meal was or if we would like anything else. We both had eggs benedict and the sauce was very vinegary. We mentioned it to our waiter after, but he didn't seem interested.

    Staff were very polite and friendly on arrival and throughout our visit. For was lovely, tasty and hot, a most enjoyable meal overall. Not sure about the views from the hotel now as it is surrounded by mature trees and bushes but this did not detract from our meal by any means. A most enjoyable place to enjoy a quiet leisurely lunch.

    Had the 2 course lunch with prosecco for 4 diners. The waiting staff were excellent and accommodated some extra courses being bought. Very beautiful food, with the beef shin pie being worth a special mention! Thanks for the lovely experience.

    We had a Birthday Breakfast for my hubby. Absolutely lovely and delicious. Our dear friend even joined us for coffee. As usual, the Customer Service was excellent.
