We look forward to serving you soon!
Excellent food and service. Charming and efficient staff
First experience at Teatro and will definitely be back. Menu was great, food was amazing, service was swift. Perfect start to an evening at the Barn Theatre. Lovely meal - thank you
This was the first time that we had eaten at Theatro. We had a very warm welcome and were sat down immediately. The food was good quality with reasonable helpings. Service was good, with the one negative comment being that people's plates were cleared whilst others had not finished eating. I would definitely recommend it especially if one is going to the Barn Theatre
This was one of my best nights out ever! Fantastic food. The food was delicious and presented very beautifully and artistically. I’m told the chef worked in a Michelin starred kitchen- it showed! Just lovely!! Then just toddled upstairs to the theatre - unbelievably brilliant! Had expected a nice meal and a good play but was blown away....!!! Such a professional (major production standard) show. I’ll be back! Went straight home and booked again!
Slow service, very cold and lots of people walking through the restaurant that were loud and drunk. Kitchen ran out of cheese for desert - never had that before and it felt like as we were finishing quite late this was an excuse.
Lovely food esp the sea bass and attentive service . But sat in draughty position and noisy people continually walking past us rather spoilt it
Amazing food, drink and service
Two of us dined there before going to the Barn Theatre next door. Booking was easy and the welcome very warm. The restaurant is a series of small dining rooms which are comfortable and well lit with interesting decor. The pre theatre menu was excellent with three choice for each course although one dessert ran out. The grilled octopus I had as a starter was just right although the presentation was a little messy. my wifes ham hock was very good. We both had confit de canard for the main course. It was delicious and served with excellent cabbage and potato dishes. Both were well presented, tasty and the portion size was just right. For dessert I had Tonka Bean creme brulee and my wife had the lemon sorbet. Both were very good and my first experience of the wonderful flavour of Tonka Beans. The wines were good but rather expensive.
Lovely food, good service, and a great feel about the place. Could maybe do with a few more things to choose from on the menu, but what they do have on there is all fantastic. Will definitely go again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to a friend.
I did this at the time. The ambience was great, the service friendly and welcoming and the food was very much above average.
Amazing place to visit in Cirencester. We went for an anniversary and wasnt disappointed. High quality food and drinks at a reasonable price!
Brilliant start to the theatre evening
Very good start to a theatre evening. Very friendly staff and nice to be able to go back to the table in the interval
We enjoyed our first experience of Téatro
The service was Very good
The food was delicious and it was a great start to a Barn Theatre Play
An excellent evening
Just disappointed that it wasn’t a steak night that We expected after it was advertised and also confirmed after my booking.
Shame about the very poor service but I think we may have been unlucky with the unattentive waitress we got for our table. Food I could not fault. Lovely decor and bar area.
A great meal, good service and super Vegan options
Enjoyed the meal especially the Mushroom soup, attentive staff, will be back.
The Teatro experience more than met our expectations. The food was delicious.
The octopus and pigeon breast starters, the mains of hake with risotto, venison, and the steak with Parmesan truffle chips, all beautifully presented and so delicious.
Cotswold Passion cocktail was really good and I would definitely order that again. Desserts yummy.
Service friendly, efficient and professional. We had a wonderful evening and definitely plan to return.
Second visit and as per our first, it was a lovely meal
Lovely service and funky venue. Food was about the most adventurous we’ve seen in Gloucestershire and the chef /s delivered.
It was cool to then go and sit in the piano bar and watch a young couple play and sing at the piano.
Can’t wait to go back.
Lovely friendly atmosphere. Perfect for a meal/theatre trip. Great to be in the bar after the theatre and have live music.
Food was good. Service was chaotic. I asked for the sound to be turned down as I couldn’t hear my companions through the music. The manager, barely polite, said no as it changes the atmosphere. By the time it was full, the noise levels were such that you couldn’t hear the music. Presumably people shouting over it to be heard. Ruined my enjoyment of the food and evening. You don’t go to a restaurant to be deafened by the music!! Whatever happened to listening to the customer. PS the loos weren’t very clean either.
Hi Emma, I am sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your experience with us. We have taken your feedback on board and do hope that you choose to visit us again so we can improve your opinion. Thanks, Ryan General Manager
Our only disappointment on this occasion was that we did not get the table we specified which we have had on many visits!
Another fantastic dinner at Teatro, Octopus, Cheese Souffle, Chocolate Bomb & GinJam Cocktails.. never fails to impress
Great food, efficient service, friendly staff, good atmosphere!
Delicious food, friendly service and very pleasant ambiance.
Perfect for a meal before the theatre but we shall return even if not attending the theatre.
The music was a little too loud but not a major problem. However I find it very frustrating to be asked by Teatro for information about food allergies and dislikes only to have it all ignored.
Could have been really good - food was decent - but service was so slow it spoilt the evening.
Food and restaurant were both lovely. Only criticism would have been overall the area and restaurant was very quiet. Needed a few more people to help make the atmosphere a little more charged.
The waitress was lovely! And may well have been the best peppercorn sauce I’ve tasted.
All in all, cones highly recommend.
Friendly service. Good choice for drinks. Starter and desserts were great but main course choice for set dinner menu pre-theatre was limited.
Wonderful chef, interesting, eclectic menu. Everything we tried had delightful flavor combinations. This was, by far, the best dinner we had in our 3.5 week tour of the U.K. and Ireland...and we had a lot of very nice dinners.
Fantastic for a special occasion - the staff are so friendly and attentive. Marvellous cocktails and unbeatable food. My favourite in Cirencester (resident for 6 years and this is now my go to!) Well done Teatro.
Food fantastic, obviously a brilliant chief , thanks. Waiters need more training. Cocktails, starters and wine all came together and felt waiter could be more knowledgeable about menu, however were very polite and nice people serving . Shame piano starts so late, booked table for 7pm on Friday and didn’t hear piano .
We went before the theatre on 4th September. I did phone and ask if there was a pre-theatre menu as we wanted to make sure we would complete the meal before the performance and also set menus tend to be less expensive. I was told there would be a new pre-theatre menu available. We were disappointed therefore to find only the a la carte menu was on offer. The food was excellent but as anticipated we did not have time for a dessert. The only small complaint was that drinks we ordered to go with the main course did not arrive until we were half way through eating and only then when I chased them.
Good food and service. Perfect for a pre theatre dinner.
Modern, lovely outdoor space, nice choice of cocktails/gins, friendly staff and yummy food.
Lovely venue, drinks service a bit slow, Excellent food, very enjoyable evening, will go again
Fabulous food and fantastic service from great staff in a beautiful venue.
