This was the second time we have been to Teatro and have not been disappointed. The food is great and not over priced. The ambiance is good as we can have our meal and then go to the bar area for drinks. Would recommend the restaurant.

Fabulous new local restaurant, which, once the Barn Theatre is open again, will become the place to have a pre-theatre meal.

Lamb and stone bass lovely, would have liked a few more veg. Wagyu burger overcooked, but we were compensated by a discount, no quibble. Wine and beers very good and reasonably priced. After meal relaxed in bar listening to pianist and singer who were both excellent and put us in Christmas mood. Overall venue cosy and comfortable, good selection of food from starters through to puds, loved the creme brulee with cinnamon shortbread. Staff very busy on night we went, but they did a sterling job and kept smiling. Would highly recommend and definitely go back again.

This is my second visit to Teatro and I wasn't disappointed.
I wasn't sure they could improve upon my fabulous first experience there but I was wrong!
Although quieter on the Thursday than on a Saturday when they have a brilliant pianist/vocalist in residence...the atmosphere was still lovely and service friendly and speedy.
We enjoyed nibbles and 3 courses without being stuffed along with a lovely rose wine ...the boys recommended the Cotswold Gin and tonics! My husband's steak was cooked perfectly and the two of us who had the lamb agreed it was the best we have ever had! We all slightly tweaked our dishes which seemed no bother for the chef either.
Our friends agreed that it was a real find and along with us wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
Its great value for money and its quirkiness sets it apart from other establishments in the area.
I hope this little gem gets the support it needs to thrive as I look forward to many more visits in the future!

I absolutely enjoyed my experience, so much so that I returned the next day for Sunday lunch (and another bottle of champagne!). Fantastic place, and overjoyed it is round the corner from my home!

First time visit to Teatro and we were very pleasantly surprised! Fantastic food, menu was not overwhelming and just enough, great choice of wines and the pianist was such a lovely addition to what was an extremely enjoyable evening.

Second visit to Teatro's both nights we had a good night.
Food well presented, st first sight of food I thought not big portions but the whole balance of the meal was just right, the house wine worked well with the food served.
The staff where very good all ways ready to help.

Food good, but not as good as previously...probably because of the Xmas rush?

We arrived at 6 and were shown to the bar for drinks. We went to the table at 6.30 but had to leave at 7.45 which didn’t really give us enough time. They offered for us to have desert in the bar but it’s not the same so we didn’t bother.
We should have been offered the table straight away if we had to leave at 7.45.
Otherwise it was very good.

Very pleasant Sunday Lunch. 2 or 3 courses sensibly priced with affordable wine selection. Although the choice of desserts was limited, the quality of what we chose was most impressive.
A refreshingly new style restaurant in Cirencester.

our first visit and we were impressed. Food was well prepared and presented. Steak grilled correctly to order. Good wine list. Nice to eat and then relax to listen to the piano player.

Lovely food - great decor and layout but sadly yet again (this being my second visit) poor customer service and lack of training spoils Teatro for me - I really like this place and want to recommend it to my friends but the customer service and young staff is letting them down - we had to ask for our free bottle of wine that was a special offer if you booked for 4 people in January - waitress said we had to have 2 courses each to have this offer ? Other issues during the evening - I hope the management are listening as they could have a little gem there.

Restaurant cool and even colder going to the loo.
When I asked to settle up I was presented with a card machine showing a charge and if I wished to leave a gratuity. Whatever happened to ‘bills’ that can be checked.
Paid including a gratuity and left.
Doorman very pleasant.

I don’t often write reviews but was disappointed with this place. Me and my partner were recommended it by family so we booked a table Saturday evening, the venue was busyish but not packed. When we were seated service was incredibly slow and we had to wait over an over before recieving drinks and a starter. Once our starters arrived we were disappointed as my partners fish cake was cold in the middle. My partner was promptly ill after but didn’t mention anything. Once our mains arrived I cut into my fish and found a hair had been cooked into the sauce it had come with. I complained and neither me or my partner ate our mains after, hers was served cold and her steak was well done as opposed to rare like she’s aksed for. Not sure if this was just an off night but both service and food were terrible and have put us both off visiting again.
