We look forward to serving you soon!
Lovely food and ambiance.
Table was in middle of room so felt a bit exposed.
Could do with more than one vegetarian option.
Great to be able to eat and stay under cover to go through to theatre.
Food and service good, just did t much care for the decor at the venue, perhaps it looks better at night.
Wonderful theatre and dining experience. Would absolutely recommend it. A welcome breath of culture and excitement to the Cotswolds. Delicious food and great fun evening.
Food was delicious although very small portions for the price of them.
Great restaurant, lovely ambience, great welcoming staff, lovely setting, love the different room areas and the bar is just a lovely space, it is truly amazing. I don't spend money eating out much and usually I don't spend much, so coming from me saying "It was great value for the quality of food and service" really means something. Thank you for a great evening.
We have eaten here three times and this is the first time we have been disappointed. We were given and amuse bouche which was a croquet of slow cooked beef - but my husbands ravioli starter was full of exactly the same filling which he did not expect from the description. Then my husband chose porcetta for his main course which was extremely fatty with little actual meat and soggy crackling which he did not enjoy. My meal of goats cheese and onion tart followed by calves liver was tasty and was fine. We will go again and would not discourage others from going.
Good food well done. The Flamingo Dining area may not be to everyone's taste but the pianist in the the bar was awesome. Worth a visit for a drink alone.
In at 6.15 for theatre start at 7.30. Plenty of time for wine on sit down, main course and a pudding and coffee before stepping into the theatre in good time. Excellent celeriac risotto with aromatic truffle oil, while my chum enjoyed seafood linguine very much. Great service - friendly, quick and no fuss. Great!
So very very lovely. Interesting, great tasting food. Lovely ambience. Great decor. A real gem. Go after 7:30 to avoid the theatre patron rush which slows service slightly.
Friendly, welcoming staff and efficient service. Unfortunately, the food is over priced and doesn't represent good value for money.
The whole experience, from the general buzz and thrum of the restaurant and bar; to the polite and friendly staff, the absolutely gorgeous food and drink, to the live pianist playing whilst we ate, all while not breaking the bank for the bill! We have eaten here several times we have never had a bad experience!! We will be going again very soon, that’s a definite!!
Slightly chaotic this time with a few errors on orders, but we all get it wrong occasionally ! The pre show meal will always be a bit of a rush but really makes the evening an event!
As regulars at Teatro, I can honestly say that it never disappoints! The food is delicious and the menus varied, always served piping hot and in good time, which when booking a pre- theatre supper, is most important. The ambience in Teatro is special, especially on a Friday/Saturday night and Sunday afternoons, when there is a wonderful piano/singer entertaining you. Last but by no means least, the Staff are very attentive, friendly and always helpful.
Good food, great service! We enjoyed it. Gluten free options were great aswell
Good Vegan options. Staff all so lovely and helpful. Interesting menu but maybe a little pricey. Lovely steak and GREAT wine list. :)
Will go again.
Food ok. Style over substance. Menu sounds good, and well presented. Food rather tasteless and not worth the money.
Great venue and service
Seems they haven’t got the menu right. Is trying to be fine dinning but can’t execute the flavours
Food mostly good - although seafood linguine could have had more seafood for the price. Desserts were fantastic. Background music was awful although it was turned down when requested.
Lovely food and service, as always. Staff very attentive without being over bearing. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to a friend or family.
Our first visit and we both had the burger which was absolutely gorgeous. We highly recommend to anyone in the area to visit.
A very enjoyable experience overall! The food was delicious. I had the pork belly which was a bit too fatty for me and the crackling was chewy not crispy, however everything else was perfect! I really fancied cheese and crackers to finish but due to 'a very busy period' they had run out of cheese and crackers :(
The staff were very attentive , the surroundings conducive to an great pre show meal!
The meal we had was a pre theatre meal and the service was very good we weren’t kept waiting although the restaurant was busy. The meal was lovely and the ambiance of the restaurant was very Christmassy and welcoming. We will definitely be back next year for another meal.
Overall a good dining option. An eclectic design gives an interesting look to the restaurant and bar which is fun if not actually suitable for dining. The table in the cubbyhole requires everything to be passed to and fro and much movement should one of the group need the loo or just want to stretch their legs.
Food was good - a decent variety for all preferences and mostly delicious. Thankfully the courses are not overly explained on the menu and they were served in good time.
Music - a rather odd series of tunes were playing and occasionally they were played rather too loud but not unpleasant.
Would I recommend to a friend - I would but I would advise them to pick out their preferred seating when booking and be prepared, if you are in a small group, not to be able to speak to most unless lip reading is a skill.
Have eaten here a number of times, pre and post theatre visits plus a Sunday lunch. The food is consistently high quality, well presented and very tasty.
Service by the young staff always knowledgeable, attentive and customer focused. I have no problem recommending Teatro.
Teatro continues to be the best restaurant in Cirencester
Teatro pre-theatre supper, never ceases to impress us! Great meal, great service, such lovely staff, a great start to a lovely evening watching A Christmas Carol and then back into the Bar for chocolate orange cocktails and wonderful piano playing! 👌
Excellent food and service. Charming and efficient staff
First experience at Teatro and will definitely be back. Menu was great, food was amazing, service was swift. Perfect start to an evening at the Barn Theatre. Lovely meal - thank you
This was the first time that we had eaten at Theatro. We had a very warm welcome and were sat down immediately. The food was good quality with reasonable helpings. Service was good, with the one negative comment being that people's plates were cleared whilst others had not finished eating. I would definitely recommend it especially if one is going to the Barn Theatre
This was one of my best nights out ever! Fantastic food. The food was delicious and presented very beautifully and artistically. I’m told the chef worked in a Michelin starred kitchen- it showed! Just lovely!! Then just toddled upstairs to the theatre - unbelievably brilliant! Had expected a nice meal and a good play but was blown away....!!! Such a professional (major production standard) show. I’ll be back! Went straight home and booked again!
Slow service, very cold and lots of people walking through the restaurant that were loud and drunk. Kitchen ran out of cheese for desert - never had that before and it felt like as we were finishing quite late this was an excuse.
Lovely food esp the sea bass and attentive service . But sat in draughty position and noisy people continually walking past us rather spoilt it
Amazing food, drink and service
Two of us dined there before going to the Barn Theatre next door. Booking was easy and the welcome very warm. The restaurant is a series of small dining rooms which are comfortable and well lit with interesting decor. The pre theatre menu was excellent with three choice for each course although one dessert ran out. The grilled octopus I had as a starter was just right although the presentation was a little messy. my wifes ham hock was very good. We both had confit de canard for the main course. It was delicious and served with excellent cabbage and potato dishes. Both were well presented, tasty and the portion size was just right. For dessert I had Tonka Bean creme brulee and my wife had the lemon sorbet. Both were very good and my first experience of the wonderful flavour of Tonka Beans. The wines were good but rather expensive.
Lovely food, good service, and a great feel about the place. Could maybe do with a few more things to choose from on the menu, but what they do have on there is all fantastic. Will definitely go again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to a friend.
I did this at the time. The ambience was great, the service friendly and welcoming and the food was very much above average.
Amazing place to visit in Cirencester. We went for an anniversary and wasnt disappointed. High quality food and drinks at a reasonable price!
Brilliant start to the theatre evening
Very good start to a theatre evening. Very friendly staff and nice to be able to go back to the table in the interval
We enjoyed our first experience of Téatro
The service was Very good
The food was delicious and it was a great start to a Barn Theatre Play
An excellent evening
Just disappointed that it wasn’t a steak night that We expected after it was advertised and also confirmed after my booking.
