Amazing - as always!
We enjoyed a lunch at Temper. The staff were excellent and the food was very good.
Excellent service, excellent food and cocktails, excellent atmosphere. If you get the offer to sit in front of the oven definitely take it. On the pricier side but totally worth it for the quality of everything.
My issue is with the cleanliness of the place, my cutlery and glass was not clean and I asked for another one. They bought me new ones but that was dirty too. It took 3 tries until they could get it right. It’s not acceptable.
Food is good but the cleanliness ruin my experience.
We went for Supper Club and the deal is amazing - £29 for steak, fries and unlimited wine. And even better, it was £19 with the Eat Out To Help Out discount. There was a great vibe in the restaurant and we loved being able to watch the chef's cook in the open kitchen. Can't wait to go back.
Service was awful - do not order beef brisket Carnita was dry and tasteless.
My new favourite restaurant in London! Can’t wait to come back! Everything was incredible.
Amazing service & delicious food, would definitely recommend
Clearly not managing the service, staff was running around. Guacamole was the worst I’ve ever had - literally pieces of avocado with no seasoning, salt, or any additions to it. Ribs were good.
Had been to Temper Soho before twice and couldn’t want to come here. The food and wine was excellent as expected. However the night was somewhat spoiled by the food taking nearly an hour and a half to arrive. The Government restrictions at 10pm, our food didn’t arrive till 9:35!! It wasn’t even that busy. 2 minutes later, our waiter told us that the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes and would we like to see the dessert menu - just after we’re starting to eat our main course! Given the options available for great dinners in the West End, this was a massive disappointment. 🙁
Brilliant restaurant! Now one of my favourites. Servers are brilliant as well! Really knowledgeable and friendly.
Good value for the monies
Service was quite slow - however staff continued to be very polite. I was on my own and didn’t expect perfect service because they where very busy. Food was fantastic despite maybe a little overpriced for the portion size.
Overall would recommend to anyone that likes meat
Really nice evening, Benedict our server was very attentive and we followed his advice with all recommendations. We shared lots of different dishes. Great spot for meat lovers like myself.
Would definitely return and recommend to anyone.
Amazing - we went for the supper club - unlimited wine (wow) - steak was incredible and service was great. We were a mixed household group and was great to be able to sit outside under cover which was perfectly comfortable on a blustery wet Oct evening!
Great venue and lovely staff, food was outstanding!
Outstanding steak, relaxed, fun atmosphere. Will definitely come back
What a cracking restaurant and night out. It was my wife's birthday and I wanted to take her out for a lively dinner in London. We were not disappointed. We sat at the counter and really enjoyed the company of the chef's as well as a great food and wine. It was a lot of fun chatting to 'Irish' the butcher about the different cuts and cooking temperatures.
A touch expensive but we did order far too much food and two bottles of wine! I guess that would explain that..
Superb steaks, succulent and tender. At c£30 each - great value.
Lovely dinner and great value. Would be great if they had more green side options other than cabbage.
Our server Jemima was brilliant! I couldn’t fault her at all!
My Béarnaise sauce split, and got a small ramekin of french fries for 4£
what was mostly crumbled bits of potatoes.
However Steak was allright and had good flavour.
Food was fantastic. Although due to Covid closure time of 10.00pm we were told we werent allowed a desert at 9.15pm which was disappointing as it doesnt take long to dish out Ice Cream.
Staff are wonderful, drinks are delicious, food is DIVINE
Excellent cuisine, ambiance and service. Thank you!
Second visit to temper in Covent Garden and it won't be our last. Perfect place for a great meal. Friendly, fun and knowledgeable staff and a amazingly relaxed and warm atmosphere. We definitely recommend!
Great night! From the food, service and atmosphere it was all on point! Highly recommend.
Prime cut steaks were great but service throughout quite poor. We called a server over multiple times to ask to order, but each time they kept coming over and then just walking away to do something else and forgetting. Would have also been nice to be given a warning that the kitchen closes at 9pm. We don’t read online about when the kitchen closes and when you’re at a meal this isn’t something you rmb so please try to be the service industry that you are and think that this sort of warning is just what customers want.
Stick to the tacos and sides which were nice. I think there are better places for steak though.
The manager on shift whose name I unfortunately didn't get, was exceptional. One of the finest experiences of dining's I've ever had from the manager to the waiter. Kudos to the staff involved.
First time at Temper and trying their Supper Club offer on a Tuesday. Absolutely amazing quality all round with the food. The starters so so good and the steak heavenly and cooked perfectly. Along with the unlimited wine what more is needed??!!
Great food and great value on eat out to help out, but will definitely go back even without the offer
All the food was excellent from starters to grilled steaks. Nice atmosphere with music. We were let down by the service which didn’t let us know when the kitchen was closing and hence couldn’t order more food. We understand the new restrictions to leave by 10pm is hard to manage. We tried to order more around 9pm and were told that was too late and we already ordered a lot of food.
The food and drink were very good, as always. My first waiter may actually have been the manager. I'm not sure about that, but he was faultlessly welcoming and professional. Later on, I had a different waiter, who did get me what I asked for, but also seemed remarkably keen to get me to leave. I was in Temper from about 18:10 to just short of 19:30 and spent £83, which amounts to more than £1/minute. I think any customer deserves more respect than I received from that second waiter, but especially one who has already spent a serious amount of money on the premises.
Food was awesome as usual. Mini cheeseburgers and goat carnitas are super tasty and different.
Excellent steak, great service, and good atmosphere sat at the grill watching the chefs cook. Will definitely visit again.
Service was so great, and we loved our super tasty food.
Overall the restaurant is pretty good. Food portion is slightly smaller than we expected, but quality was great. The service can be a bit too busy due to EOTHO offer.
