Very tasty food. Worked out very expensive I thought. Limited menu too. Lovely food nonetheless
Delicious food and excellent service.
Great outdoor dining experience. Delicious food. Fantastic service. Will definitely be back :)
Unusual, delicious barbecue. The goats cheese tacos were the surprise winner of the meal.
Service was great, fast and polite. The food was great but have to say that it probably isn’t the best for value. Our meal came up to £100 for a starter, main, side and dessert to share + a drink each. Which you would normally pay for full course without having to share! We didn’t leave full. Can’t knock the atmosphere and the outdoor heaters.
Good food and vibes. Cramped tables, friendly staff
I was disappointed because I booked for bottomless brunch based on the write up about temper filling up drinks quickly as well as the fact they had cocktails... it was also supposed to be £39 per person. The cocktails were absolutely tiny and a couple of times arrived half full with loads of ice, if I could I’d attach a picture of how small I mean, practically a large shot glass worth of drink (mostly ice). They took a long time to come. I booked the brunch for 3:45 and it was supposed to end at 17:15 but they told us our time was up at 17:00. The wings were cold as well which was disappointing, overall it was a nice restaurant however I was charged £96 rather than £80 which it should have been and it was terrible value for money given the size of the drinks. I could see they did normal size cocktails but obviously for outside of the bottomless brunch.
Lovely place, delicious food and good service. Heaters were on too, which was lovely to keep the damp air at bay.
The food was excellent but we booked a table at 845pm and was immediately rushed to order by a pushy waiter. Throughout the meal we were always rushed and couldn’t finish our bottle of wine. If you have to close at 10pm, I would advice not allowing people to book a table at 845pm as the dining experience was affected by the rushed nature.
Inventive and interesting; and delicious. Good service too
The food was good, nice ambience as well, although we were continuously reminded of the time we have left.
Enjoyable meal despite being outside being rained on
Amazing service from the team here at Temper CG. Divine food as always and such a fun atmosphere
Great to be able to dine even though outside. The food was good. Would go again
Great food and lovely service! Definitely recommend the nachos and prawn tacos
Great to be out and about again but my gosh this place is overpriced. £13 for two prawn tacos? Even the ‘cheap’ £9 Cheeseburger one is basically just about 1/2 of a regular sized burger spread across two tacos. The pork tacos were best IMHO. Yes, they were tasty, but I felt 1) robbed and 2) still hungry. Looking forward to more restaurants being open!
Outdoor seating arrangement was great
The service was top notch, a massive thanks to Benedict! He is absolutely amazing and really looked after us, he even managed to move us to a table next to a heater as it was quite chilly. The food was good especially the lamb kimchi and the pork bites. Thank you Benedict I will definitely be back because of you!!
Food was good as always but unfortunately they didn’t have a table in the outdoors protected / heated area so we were very cold throughout lunch and the food got cold as quickly as it reached the table unfortunately
When booking here I didn’t realise that it is a restaurant where as soon as the meal is cooked, it comes straight out, which meant one of us were waiting while the other had their meal.
My partner adored his steak! Keeps raving about it. My chicken was cold when it came out, however they sorted it out straight away and apologised.
Lovely and cheerful staff and it looks amazing inside. A shame due to COVID restrictions we had to sit outside but hey ho. The whole experience felt a little rushed rather than a leisurely meal.
Service wasn’t that great, it took us a while to be seated and then took a while for my dessert to come and then we were being rushed off our table despite the place not even being busy. It was a friends birthday but I wouldn’t take her there or any other friends there again.
But the food was nice and the black french man who served our drinks was lovely.
The staff were so nice and attentive. Cocktails were fab, highly reccommended.
Great food and great service! Portion sizes are decent so don’t need to order much. You can get full easily. Heating outside made outdoor dining enjoyable
Friendly service. Outdoor gas heating for a cold day
Lovely food. Fab friendly service. Can’t wait for them to open properly inside too.
Great casual dining, quite expensive so best to go as a large group. Excellent service and tasty food! Relatively spicy so if you don’t go for spicy food ask the staff which foods to stick to. Overall great place am going back for brunch in a month!
Staff were lovely and really went the extra mile to make a birthday meal special! Food was great as usual!
The service was great from the very beginning and the food was amazing too. Would definitely recommend temper to a friend or anyone interested in having good food and a good time.
Allowed table for 1.5 hours, fair enough. It takes at least 20 minutes to get your order taken. Everything then gets delivered ad hoc/at once and the tables aren't big enough to hold everything. In a marquee, pouring with rain which leaked and spurted through onto us, the food, our possessions. Then, with 15 minutes left of our time slot, were hurried along to get out (I actually wanted a desert but it was not 'encouraged'). Fiery service charge added. The food is actually delicious but I am loathe to go back. Apparently spending £150 in under 1.5 hours isn't classed as "valued custom".
The outdoor seating set up was very cosy with heaters. Service was attentive and food as always was great. It was a shame they’d run out of quite a few items.
Great place! Outdoor dining and food was great would def recommend.
Always a great dining experience! Meat is always perfect and staff are always helpful.
Food is amazing, (seabass) they just need to put cabbage on a bigger plate.
Had been here many times before however this time was definitely a huge difference. On arrival we were advised the seating times are now only 1.5 hours for a meal for 6 people (it was very very rushed and being reminded every 30 mins your time was ticking. Doesn’t help for ambiance). The steak and sides quality has reduced. It was lacking it’s old charm. Unfortunately, we will be skipping temper as our steak house.
Food was very tasty and enjoyable.
Our waiter at the start was very friendly and helpful. Advising on the menu. Although the new waitress on the 2nd half of our booking was less hospitable and we felt very rushed, despite being within our time limit on the table. Our bill was given, with 20 minutes to spare and when asked if there was anything we could put our remaining wine in eg: a plastic cup or perhaps the screw lid, we were given a simple no. Service was very abrupt and rushed which ruined the second half of our meal.
Def recommend the truffle fries and lamb Kim chi. Would have liked more checking in on drinks, but understand it was very busy that day.
Food and service were superb, so nice to be in a proper restaurant again. Where we were sat on the edge of the marquee was a bit cold so make sure you bring an extra layer just in case. Other than that, cannot fault it.
Food was generally good, small bites / plates were my highlight. Steak was good and cooked well although slightly disappointed with the selection of sides to go with the main although the cabbage was very good. Good service throughout although once they put up the sides to the outdoors gazebo was maybe a little too dark inside. Clear plastic sides would be much better.
Overall a great experience from attentiveness from our waiter and very tasty food, couldn't have asked for more for our first lunch out this year.
Very friendly service and good food.
