We only use the best produce available and source our meat from local farms and butcher it all ourselves in house.
We serve this alongside cornish fish and seafood on corn tortillas and flat breads we made in house.
Each week we have ‘Sunday sharing specials’ for the table.
We have 180 seats which you can book but we always reserve room for walk-ins.

Food was fantastic, service was good not to pushy with the wine. The sit up bar isn’t very comfortable but good to see the chefs at work.
Restaurant was and felt cold; service was efficient to the point of brusque. Food was good though.
Nice meal & good vibe. Bit expensive but we were happy with it - 133 for two people
Food was great, a bit expensive especially as the menu prices were different than what was on the bill. Otherwise great atmosphere
Had an early reservation on a Saturday (6.45) but the restaurant was already filling up. We were seated at The bar - which was fine....but the stools are fixed and although they swivel there is only a limited amount of room (both for your knees and on the bar for your pates if food and glasses etc) This was OK for us...but wouldn’t be for everyone. Also we were at the end so only had one lot of people sitting next to us....I think if we had been in the middle we would have felt more squashed.
We were not informed that our reservation was at the bar when we booked online.....so were a bit disappointed not to have a table. (Many restaurants with bar dining always let you know that they only have spaces at the bar).
However, sitting at the bar does mean that you get the full experience of the open fire cooking which is going on in the middle. The service was fairly fast, but efficient and we had a pleasant server. The food also came quite fast but it was delicious. We were advised to get two starters, two mains and two sides....to share everything.....and this was the right amount. The Tacos were excellent (we had the cheese burger and the pork) and then we chose a ribeye on the bone, a goat dish and a side of potatoes and the Hispi cabbage. Everything was delicious. The bill was about £155- we also had a starter cocktail each and bottle of the Australian Shiraz (which was nice). So for London about average I would say. Would we go again?......maybe with a bigger party so we could sit at a table, yes....as the food was delicious and it had a very lively vibe. I just felt that we were on a bit of a conveyor belt at the bar....but that may just be my age...I am 53! But I would recommend this place for a delicious meal and also to young people who like a lively restaurant and somewhere a bit different. It certainly worth at least one visit to experience it.
I haven't had amazing tacos in a while and Temper Soho delivers. Nice steak too.
Nice restaurant, vibe and food. I think we spent a bit more that I would have found “right”.
It was... OK! Better for the kind of night where you want food while you’re getting lashed than “going out for dinner”. Service was mostly warm and engaging, but with a couple of cold fish. I was surprised by how light the bill felt given the numbers of dishes we had between three of us, but even the “mains” are all quite small plates - We were all hungry again two hours later.
Amazing food in a really chic lovely restaurant but unfortunately the staff totally let it down. Very pushy and rude.
Excellent Sunday roast, best beef we have ever had, and that was for a group of 4,
The food was nice, service staff were a bit lack lustre didn’t explain menu for the Sunday roast clearly, took their time with certain parts of the meal but over all was an ok lunch
Portions too small. Steak was average. Service needs to be better. Fun ambience but music far too loud, it’s a dining experience not a club. Glad I’ve been, good evening probably won’t return.
A different take on steak! Not a chip in sight but the potato signature dish worked & If you’ve never tried Thai larb worth a go. Starters of tacos wee good although pork edged it over goat. Very industrial type surroundings and the music a bit on the loud side. Our waitress was knowledgeable and friendly.
Great food and atmosphere. Only spoilt by a brat of a waiter asking us to move to the bar because he needed our table for another booking when we had literally just finished our main courses and hadn’t even been offered the dessert menu. We’d only been sat at our table for 75 mins. Very rude
Food was far too salty and garlicky and I love garlic! Service was mediocre and music was far too loud
Maybe - as the vibe was fun and lively. But the food was semi cold, not fresh at all! Clearly all pre prepped which is a shame!
Amazing food! Defo worth sitting by the counter! Order the cookie to finish off your meal. It’s divine!
Excellent as always. Very much enjoy the concept of sitting at the counter and watching the open fires being used, one of our favourite places to eat when in London
Brilliant venue! We all really enjoyed the food and drinks and the atmosphere was great!
Overall good. Very succulent grill meat.
Fantastic meat selection
Food was fantastic, staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Great food and drinks. But far to small portions and loud bad music. They were playing Eye of the Tiger as we got in! We had to scream to one another.
Again no fillet steak on the menu. Had to leave table without dessert due to next booking. Main meals did not arrive until 8.20pm (sat down at 6.25pm) booking ended at 8.15pm
Good quality food with an original menu. Excellent service in a modern environment
Grazie a OpenTable, abbiamo conosciuto il Temper di Soho, abbiamo pranzato benissimo... carne è squisita!
We’ve before at Temper and have been happy with the place. This time the meat for both starters and main arrived cold and tasted burned. We also felt that the roast sides had been sitting outside for a while. This Sunday roast at 8pm felt like an end of service meal, shame that the prices were not reflecting the lack of effort! I’m sorry to say this because we have always liked the restaurant.
I went for the Sunday roast. Poorly presented; and the roast beef was especially poor, just a jaw workout. The tacos were solid though. All in all, I won’t be a repeat customer.
It was okay considering it wasn’t busy. The service was v poor had to look for a waiter twice asked to order after they took our drinks order it then took a while for them to arrive and then had to find someone to order food !!
Food came reasonably quick, it was okay the food wasn’t outstanding just okay /fair. It was roast so not a lot you could say.
Counter is very uncomfortable, seats being fixed if you are a bit overweight it is a very unpleasant experience. Food was decent, pork tacos were the most memorable one and negroni accompanied well. Our waitress was exceptionally well.
Am I inclined to go back, not 100% sure.
Love temper, one of my favorite restaurants in London. The service is also great and I love the ambience here. Will be back again soon!
Très bon et original par contre musique trop forte
Very meat heavy. I like a steak and burger but the veggie options are light and the Mexican tacos and guacamole aren’t that good for the price. Good location and venue but too meaty for me!
Very tasty steak .The service is below all criticism!
Extremely overpriced. Staff were not that interested in us. Steaks looked all exactly the same and were average and they forgot half the sauces. Not really what you expect when dinner for 5 is 250 quid. Took them 15 minutes to bring a card machine. Best avoided.
Great to experience the kitchen and the dining experience simultaneously - total fire 🔥🔥🔥 Food was fantastic and would recommend a counter sitting for sure
Slow service, small dishes and expensive
Service was terrible, food was great.
Best steak in this country or any where else. Period.
