temper is a unique barbecue, steak and open fire pit restaurant where we cook everything in front of your eyes using only wood and charcoal in huge 4.5m long fire pit in the middle of the room.
We only use the best produce available and source our meat from local farms and butcher it all ourselves in house.
We serve our meats alongside tacos, parathas, made in house and mezcal cocktails.
Each week we have our Sunday Roast that is perfect for a table of 2 or 10 with it's sharing style platter.

Ordered beef nachos= nice
Wings= expensive but dry but sauce on it was nice.
Cheeseburger taco = dry and pretty tasteless.
Beef skewers= not actually skewers but mince aka a kebab, dense and first one super dry, and loaded with salty sauce balance. 1st impressions bad. Based on experience wouldn't recommend.
Saw a YouTube video of eaters where there was plenty of meat all over the place, we saw just some pork and possibly beef.
No lamb available at time..
Felt like we were essentially sold aged mincemeat, I guess covid has really lowered customers from coming so in order to save on costs they don't bother ordering whole cuts anymore.... I also have 300 quids worth of vouchers, which I don't think I will use till I guess business picks up because what was displayed and served was well below par. If I could get a refund on the vouchers I would... Because I don't see them returning to glory anytime soon.
It works out almost £35 per head, and in my honest to God opinion is way too much for what they offer. I could've gone to a Brazilian Rodizio and have a better experience, for a lesser price.
At this point I am giving a benefit of doubt because I know they can do better.
I am hoping my next visit will be better.
Also I feel they should somehow let people know what meats are available on the day without having to call up in advance... I mean its 2020, its should be difficult.
I mean I wanted goat, beef lamb, none of which were available outside of steak cuts.
The Sunday roast wasn’t good. Cold and stingy portion. There is a guy standing in the open kitchen area measuring the meet to make sure is exactly 200 grams! He cut the meat so thinly and put it on the counter. Therefore, food arrives cold and it doesn’t look good. The smoky meat taste better but it is quite a fatty cut. If you order the sharing meat platter the garnish is extra £5 per person. No problem with that if the parsnips are properly roasted and the gravy was tasty. Food is really mediocre and I had much better Sunday roast in the pub around the corner.
I never make a complaint in any restaurant as I believe the best thing is not to go back. However, at the end of my meal a waitress asked how was my food and I pointed out at the fat on my plate and uncooked parsnip and explained why I didn’t like the food. She left and another waiter came and asked the same question and I politely said the same thing and I added that’s not an issue and I have no intention of making a big deal of it and the only reason I provide a feedback is because they asked. He showed my such an attitude which was unbelievable!!! I wondered what was the point of asking my opinion about the food. I paid the bill and survice and I thought I wont be back to Temper ever again and if anyone asks me I would say avoid it.
Delicious food. The portions of the roast lunch was impressive. Looking forward to returning to sample something else on their menu.
The service was amazing, the staff was very friendly and eager to help. Although there were certain plates that we couldn’t have due to shortage of products, the waiter recommended other similar ones that filled in for what we wanted. Great food, lovely atmosphere. Totally visiting again!
Food was absolutely gorgeous!! Also lovely venue. The waiter could have been more helpful (ie we ordered 6 plates of food between 6 people and he only told us that wouldn’t be enough because we asked) but apart from that had a fantastic time
Very good, nice layout and team were very helpful with everything, food was also great which always helps
Excellent food and great staff. A really nice experience. Been a few times now. Will keep going back.
Amazing atmosphere food and service. I’m gonna be back asap
Great restaurant, lovely food and the vibe was great - the service started really well but then as the bar got busier we seemed slightly forgotten about, it took quite a while to get someone’s attention to order desert and when we finally did they only brought over one of the cookies when we ordered two... which was really sad because the cookie was so good!!!
Great food, lively atmosphere. Went to celebrate with my boyfriend and we both really enjoyed it!
Nice ambient and good food. Prepared waiters and busy chefs
excellent dinner at Temper Soho. Great service. And all very reasonable with the eat out to help out pricing still being offered.
Love the concept and the food was simply delicious! I could eat the prawn tacos all day long. We will be back!
The roasts were great, we had smoked goat and roast beef. We were recommended the cookie dessert, and I would 100% recommend this too!
We will come back with more people to try the lamb to share for sure.
It was not worth it. Price is too high for the experience and food
Fantastic! Had a great evening! Food was delicious and service was excellent.
Fab place good food bottomless brunch excellent worth the visit will go again. Thanks guy's excellent service too.
Thought it was rather pricy for what we got . Everything was served together on a platter so no starter main course etc . The cheese burger was tasty though .. bit slow to serve the drinks and the cosmopolitan didn’t taste as if it had any Alcohol in it . Also very small glasses so didn’t last long as most of it was ice .very busy in there
What an experience we had! Food was delicious, cocktails and wine were amazing. Could not fault the service, Francesco was great at his job and his recommendations were spot on. Our first ever espresso martinis were something we'll never forget. Can't wait to go back.
Fantastic food and service, with great seats at the counter with a view over the fire. The portion size was a bit disappointing for a BBQ restaurant, but it was excellent quality.
Sunday roast was really yummy but missing some of the garnish. Service was very very poor
Lovely food, lovely venue, good service , would recommend to a friend!
Incredible food, great service! Very special night!
Fantastic steak, one of the best I’ve ever had, great service from our waitress all in all a decent restaurant with a buzzy atmosphere would highly recommend!
I used to love Temper but current service and food it will bring this place right down. Complete lack of Managment.
Was a nice but small menu. I had the Pork dish which I had to send back because half the dish was fat. I got a new dish when everyone else I was eating had finished. The staff was really good and helpful. The starters were really nice.
The food was ridiculously bland - it looked much better than it tasted. Most items required salt, however the atmosphere and mocktail was lovely!
Went for the Sunday roast. We had beef rump and smoked goat which were both incredibly tasty. So much rich smoky flavour. A bit pricey but worth it.
The pork and cheeseburger taco starters are a must!
They do a really nice organic Malbec too. Goes with the food perfectly
Wow is all I can say! We were seated around the kitchen (in my eyes the best seats) and got to see all the action in front of our eyes. The staff were very friendly and very attentive. The food was amazing and you are definitely getting value for money. I would most definitely return and recommend to my friends.
Service was poor, loud noise background, half of the menu was bot available, etc.
Food was so good I wanted to cry.
Hope to come here again before London descends into lockdown anarchy.
Great food and constant stream of bottomless cocktails which was appreciated! Shame that the food took over an hour to come by which point the bottomless brunch was almost over.
Really enjoyed our night- delicious food and great atmosphere. We will definitely be back
Adored our evening there! Not only was the service impeccable but the food was superb too.
Thank you for such a wonderful evening!
Great to revisit Temper Soho - v. helpful staff happy to guide us through menu options, and attentive without being intrusive - thanks for a fun night.
Really fantastic meal at Temper. The service was friendly, enthusiastic and helpful and the food was absolutely delicious. I’ll be back the next time I’m in London!
Delicious fusion cuisine in a good location. Super friendly and helpful staff who were the perfect level of attentive. The food was to a great standard, really enjoyable. The only thing we didn't like was the goat, the pieces we got were pure fat. But maybe that's just a personal taste. Would highly recommend
Delicious food and great cocktails. Everything was amazing and cooked perfectly. Loved the open kitchen in the restaurant.
Wonderful. The service was exquisite, she was so wonderful and the team on the floor were lovely. So friendly. The senior management or whoever the ones having their own meals and then going into the kitchen were annoying and surly and wanted people to know they were in charge. Nobody cares. Carry on as you were.
Food was amazing. So delicious. The pork taco was amazing!!
Wasn’t covid safe at all. No masks worn by staff and they didn’t social distance with us at all.
It was also meant to be eat out to help out, but apparently you have to specifically request it which is pretty sneaky.
