A great experience exciting range of dishes with terrific flavours and very good staff we really enjoyed it 👍👍
IT WAS AWESOME
Service was ok. Waiters a bit confused. The dessert that keeps be returning to this place, as it was my favorite dessert in London, was not good this time. It’s the deep dish brigadeiro cookie
A really great place on all fronts, Food, atmosphere, people!
Great food and great service. Recommend sitting at the bar so you can watch all of the food being prepared and cooked! Definitely worth a try
The service was outstanding and the food was absolutely incredible. It was really good value for money and I will definitely be back!
Great food in a nice atmosphere
4th time here and just as good as always, really great food!
From start to finish, a dining experience i enjoyed. Would highly recommend. Staff attentive, look you in the eye, care about the service, know the menu. Food was delicious, quirky. Loved the fact it was sourced ethically and locally.
We went on a Saturday night, service was poor (took ten minutes to find out who our waiter was who ended up being totally clueless, drinks took ages and came wrong) menu very average. When we tried to order the fresh steak cuts they had all sold out by 8.30pm. I get when the animal is gone it’s gone, but this is a Saturday night. Perhaps get two animals? Or perhaps not wait half an hour before we order? We had two rounds of drinks and didn’t end up ordering food. Complained to the manager who took the service charge off but still charged for the drinks. Walked out to go to the Ivy across the street and had a fantastic meal. My first visit to temper was 6/10 and hoped the second time was an improvement. Sadly it wasn’t and it confirmed this as an average place with average food and average customer service. 2/10.
Overrated place, overrated food!
Expensive for what is served. The house wine is a no!
The music was too loud. Impossible for a conversation. Bad overall experience.
Not going back.
Disappointed following all the great reviews and hype.
Food - Jamie Oliver school of cooking where everything is doused in the same sauce, lots of raw onions and chili. It made the dishes basically taste identical. The meat is AMAZING but totally ruined by this approach
Service - We were there pre-rush where the restaurant was half empty and there were many many waiters wandering around. It still took them 15 mins to take orders, 30 mins between starters and mains and an abrupt waiter
We did not realize the menu was so limited. All the meats are served on flatbreads. The food and service were good, but it was a noisy place. We weren’t in the mood for a lot of hustle and bustle and might otherwise have enjoyed it more.
Enjoyed the food but disappointed that the menu was a tapas menu. Price seemed it was fitting for a meal for one person but once arrived it was small. Cocktails were overpriced, sadly to say.
The ambience was excellent.
Great food in a great atmosphere.
Great date night with the other half, everything was on point from the service to the eclectic music choice! Definitely recommend the American cheese burger taco and the cookie at the end was amazing!
Only feed back, more Irun Bru in your Irun bru cocktail, we could taste it at all. And pleaseeeeee warn people of the anchovies in the lamb flat bread dish.
Our meal was very good although not as much as we expected, perhaps the hype set our expectations too high? The highlight of the meal was dessert.
Had an absolutely amazing experience, honestly can't find the words. It's the 4th time I've been now and I feel it get's better every time I go.
Our second time visiting this restaurant, my husband and I had an even better experience helped greatly by our server . A really lovely young chap who quided us through the menu , and portion control !! For us oldies !! Brilliant
Went here for the first time a few Friday's ago and was knocked out by the food and experience.
This time ( I say with a very heavy heart) that it wasn't as good. The cheeseburgers were undercooked( almost rare), The lamb shoulder was dry and over cooked. The 500g Rib eye was very very fatty.
Service was good but not exceptional. One thing that was excellent was the music...the play list for a Monday night was great.
Service took quite a long time to get food and get our order in.
Portions not massive when they arrived and we were only given 2 potato dishes between 3. This wasn’t explained when we ordered so felt like we were short changed.
Most annoyingly, we ordered what we thought were £30 bottles of wine, only to discover that the price shown was for 500ml. Received a bill for £46 bottles of wine. Told the waiter that we didn’t realize this was the case and weren’t offered any solution.
Average roast. Vegetables were good but the roast meat just wasn’t that great. Better places to go.
Wine good. Service average. Definitely look elsewhere for a Sunday roast.
Very inflexible and poor value for money. The menu is very fixed . Staff would not offer any alternatives if a meme Re of my group wanted a slight change. Very very disappointing.
Best waiter ever and incredible food! The duck carnitas were amazing to start and the whole meal was really high quality and tasty. The desserts were out of this world.
Love this restaurant very much! Staff are very very nice and helpful! The lamb, steak and cucumber are AMAZING!! Music is a little bit loud. Overall is very good!
Meet up with my daughter and had seen the restaurant on Masterchef a while back and had always wanted to go. It did not disappoint
You go for the meat but you remember the desserts! Great food, great music, great experience overall. Will definitely come back but ensure not to eat too much to lessen likelihood of food coma.
Great selection of different dishes
Interesting flavours and a nice restaurant
Would return definitely
Had a great time with my friends. Perfect place to catch up on a Friday night - food and service were great!
Good beef. Flexibility (we booked and manage to anticipate the dinner). Nice setting. Too loud music (difficult conversation). About 1 hour to be served.
Excellent food and ambience. It mever disappoints.
It is just somewhat difficult to get the attention of the waiters, they always seem to be overwhelmed.
Great staff, really knowledgable and the food was divine. Great for a treat, date or special occasion.
Had a great evening for my boyfriends birthday. Sat on the bar and got to watch all the action around the grill. Highlights included the lamb chops, steak with kimchi hollandaise and the burger tacos. They also brought out an extra (and free) delicious cookie dough dessert with a candle as a surprise at the end. Couldn’t recommend it more.
The food was great, staff were friendly. It was a friend's birthday so they brought the dessert with a candle and sang happy birthday.
The waiting staff were excellent and the view into the kitchen was good. However the food was disappointing and the portions were not big. Overall not good value.
Excellent food and excellent service. Sit at the bar
Really enioyed this even though with a booking close to closing they had run out of lots. Had the best dessert ever. Sweet bread dough deep fried with a ice cream made from condensed milk
Following the birth of our son this year big nights out have become rare. However 6 years married we called in the enforcement and booked Temper. From the minute we walked in (10 minutes late sorry) no fuss shown table and greeted with smiles by everyone. Knowledgeable, friendly, engaging staff who all seem to love their jobs. Food was unreal, wine was amazing and even when our table was needed they politely moved us to the bar seating to finish our wine whilst watching the wizards in the kitchen. I haven't stopped promoting it at work and will definitely be returning (temper got any staff they can look after a 4 month old??)
Great spot. Great food.
They execute what they do perfectly and i find the service to be some of the best exeperienced in London. I love Temper Soho as much as I love some of the higher end restaurants.
