temper is a unique BBQ and open fire pit restaurant with a huge New World wine list and cocktail bar. We cook everything in front of your eyes using only wood and charcoal in huge 4.5m long fire pit in the middle of the room.

We only use the best produce available and source our meat from local farms and butcher it all ourselves in house.

We serve this alongside cornish fish and seafood on corn tortillas and flat breads we made in house.

Each week we have ‘Sunday sharing specials’ for the table, alongside our individual roasts. Have a look at our menus here or keep up to date with our social media for details each week.

We have 180 seats which you can book but we always reserve room for walk-ins.

Thursday night out in a great BBQ-based Soho, Manhattan. Or rather London. Cavernous basement restaurant with low lighting, burly men flashing meat on fire, great cocktails, efficient and friendly service and delicious food. Oh my, the smoked lamb shoulder and the crab tacos. Didn't leave room for pudding. An error. We'll be back.

Very dissapointed. Had been looking forward to going. Service was terrible and food was okay.

Lovely staff, great place, not much for the non-meat eater. Music quite loud and food a bit sparse and over-priced. Wouldn't go again when there are so many great options locally.

Original, interesting food all of which we thoroughly enjoyed - unexpected food combinations worked well together. Waiters very helpful in selecting from menu, the aged cheeseburger tacos and pisco sour cocktail were my personal highlights

After reading some good reviews for this place I decided to check it out with a friend. The food was ok but nothing special. And therefore it wasn't great value due to the high price for very small portions.

The service was good and the open kitchen in the center is nice to experience but wouldn't visit again.

This is the third time I've been to Temper and it was good, but just not as great as the previous two times. All the food is delicious, however some of the meats weren't as tender or juicy as on previous visits. Also, the desserts were a serious let down. Definitely not worth the money and the star of the show at Temper is really the meat and sides! The staff are friendly and knowledgable - absolutely no complaints there

I'll definitely visit again in the future, I just don't think on this occasion, it was a brilliant as it has been previously
