We only use the best produce available and source our meat from local farms and butcher it all ourselves in house.
We serve this alongside cornish fish and seafood on corn tortillas and flat breads we made in house.
Each week we have ‘Sunday sharing specials’ for the table, alongside our individual roasts. Have a look at our menus here or keep up to date with our social media for details each week.
We have 180 seats which you can book but we always reserve room for walk-ins.
Food is amazing under TACOS & TOSTADAS the cheeseburger and haggis is my faves and burrata size is also one to try! Definitely will coming back ofor sure ☺️
Really delicious food and great venue, but the service could have been better (we were served by at least 5 different waiters who didn't keep track of changes to our orders)
Everything was fantastic, the only problem I had was that upon making my booking I wasn’t told that we would only have the table for 1.5 hours which was disappointing. And we were then only told this 15 minutes before we had to leave, which again was disappointing.
Other than that, it’s amazing!
Amazing food. Great service. Okay cocktails. But it's a bit too noisy to my taste.
Great experience, great food, vibe and service .
Starters were very good. Meat mains average. Meat was serves in small bits with lots of spices. You have this big meat carcasses on smoke. You kind want to have big pieces of meat to eat.
Whilst we had been looking forward to visiting Temper following a number of good reviews (especially J Rayners) - we were really disapointed.
2 of the three wines (bottles) we tried to order were out of stock.
Server tried hard but the food didnt make it!
Food was beautifully cooked, octopus tacos are a must have!
Very high quality meat dishes (starters / mains / sides) and aperitifs
Bit frugal with the parathas which was a shame
Desserts poor (though not really the reason you should go)
Really good atmosphere and service
Fabulous venue and food - sit at the stools and watch the BBq theatre - high;y reccomend it - oly slight criticism - the menu could have more descriptive info as not sure what some of the dishes are and dont want to keep dragging the waiting staff back when they were mega busy. Chefs were great and freiendly when i was asking them lots of questions
If you want to have time to actually eat your food and not have to inhale it- then avoid this place at all costs. The small print of the email confirmation- (who knew there was such a thing for restaurant bookings?) is that as a party of 2 you have a maximum of 1,5 hours to have your meal. Larger parties it seems take longer to actually eat so they are “allowed” to stay longer.
Even after we ordered a second glass of wine each- before the wine had arrived we were told we had 5 minutes at the table. No one mentioned this to is when we sat down and not once did they come over and warn us. And then why take another order of wine?? They also took really long to bring the food. Food was ok. Service was ok. If you want to be rushed and stressed then this is for you. If not, go to one of the other thousands of restaurants in Soho that actually care and don’t have to say” refer to the small print” it’s not a credit application. It’s a meal!! Really??
Booked for Valentine’s day off the back of a previous visit a few months before. Happy to report that the food was very good. Definitely a great date night venue. The aged cheeseburger and smoked goat was a great way to start and the burrata always goes down well. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Mullet ceviche but that’s down to personal taste more than anything else. The beef carnita and Barnsley chop were both fantastic and the red curry beef skewer was a welcome addition. Not quite feeling contented we ordered the 300g fillet to round things off, which arrived in good time given that we ordered towards the end of our meal. The cookie and ice cream to finish was definitely the way to go, as recommended by our waiter. My only slight criticism would be that the music was a touch too loud where we were sat (close to one of the speakers). All in all a great date night venue, great food and nice staff.
The food here was pretty good and we all left with full bellies but still a bit thirsty after the one drink we had to ask for ran out
Valentine’s Meal ❤️
Amazing atmosphere. We went here on valentines, it was a buzzing vibe, the service was amazing and the food was really good. I would 100% go back here for special occasions but probably slightly too expensive to go back regularly.
We had the perfect valentines dinner with impeccable service and the most juicy steaks I have had in a long while! Definitely coming back very soon to try the rest of the menu. Thank you for making our valentines the best EVER!
Had a 30 minute wait for our table. Then the kitchen was significantly delayed getting our food out. Food was fine and manager was super nice and apologetic which made things better. Not had such a bad experience in London for years!
Was a great night waited a little while after the starter but they gave us 2 free drinks each which knocked £28 off the bill so can’t complain. Great place
Food was good but very salty!
Also felt that strong chilli on a couple of the dishes overpowered the other flavours
Good service but definitely upselling beyond what you need!
Excellent food, wonderful flavours. The haggis tacos were fantastic and the beef carnitas were excellent.
Lovely ambiance in restaurant and service was excellent. Would highly recommend!
Fantastic experience. It was great watching the chefs doing their thing from behind the bar. The slow-smoked goat was out of this world. It's a great way to spend a relaxed evening.
I had asked a reco for a place with great atmosphere and that didn’t disappoint. Having looked on line at the menus I was excited but I have to say I was left a bit flat by the offerings. The starters were good. But I found the lamb chop very tough and fatty. I love fat generally but it does need to be cooked. And the pork we had I found too dry. Pudding, half cooked cookie dough, was ingenious and delicious. Overall a nice night but food could definitely be better.
The food is wonderful, super tasty. Awesome being around the fire pit. Service was good, too. And I love the hiphop background music.
Excellent barbecue food, starter portions great for sharing. We asked specifically for meats to be separated but they weren't so we had to work our way round. The waiter was also unsure as to which meat was which (lamb and beef)
Second time we have been. Outstanding service and the food is fantastic.
Delicious dishes with inventive twists, great cocktails, and helpful staff recommendations.
Waiting half an hour for the table and our waiter didn't really know the menu and didn't check up on us. Very excited to try this place but was left disappointed
The restaurant was quite dark and in spite of asking two waiters to light the candle on our table, we were left to dine at a table where there was barely any light.
The waitress didn’t have any idea of our time of arrival and asked us to order desert after 50 min of being in the restaurant and told us (incorrectly) that the table was being held only for an hour.
The overall experience was pretty good. The waiter could have been better and overcharged us twice. Firstly by charging us for an item we never received, and secondly when processing the credit card payment (by 30 pound). I enjoyed the food, but one or two of our party of seven did not. The ambience was nice.
Always a cool place for some good food and drinks. Definitely recommend the cookie dessert.
Awful service with very average, flavorless food
Delicious combination of flavours, great vibe and love the open plan kitchen. A wonderful experience and will definitely return! Cannot wait to sample everything on menu.
Great food, menu seemed a bit like it was trying to be too clever, service was friendly, but the noise level was pretty high
Poor service, average food. Style over substance
Absolutely amazing food and really good to share. Lovely staff too.
Food was amazing. I was impressed they remembered it was my boyfriend’s birthday and they brought out a dessert with an candle in.
Great service, amazing atmosphere and the food is just an experience in itself. Just have in mind that portions are small-ish, so go ahead and order that second dish you are also eyeing on the menu 😉
Great food but very patchy service. We had to wait 10 minutes after our reservation time to be seated, and then after 5 minutes sat down we were asked to move to another table so they could use ours to create a big table for 20 (perhaps they should have thought of that before?). We didn’t get any menus or waiter attention for another 10 minutes until I asked one to help us. Drinks took a long time to arrive and then they missed out one of the drinks (it wasn’t a complicated drinks order). When we eventually placed our order the waiter was actually very nice and helpful...but it was all a bit late (we didn’t order anything until about 40 mins after our reservation time). The food was great, but the service was very off for a quality restaurant. No one asked us during our meal if the food was good. When I asked to remove the service charge at the end, no manager came and asked us what had been wrong with the service.
Nice food, and good ambience. Portions very small, but food was tasty. They could have been a bit more flexible with paratha bread, as dishes were made for sharing but each main, only came with one paratha, which meant tearing in 2. There was more filling than bread but was very dark in the venue and fiddly to get food off the plate. The goats cheese tortilla was lovely, but could have done with more. The outstanding main was surprisingly Deserts were good and reasonable priced.
Tacos and Smoked Goat was very good and special.
Waiter really pushed for the steaks so we ordered the ribeye, pretty standard nice steak.
The Thai larb was a bit disappointing. Atmosphere is lively and a little loud. Very busy on a sat night. Service could be better as it is hard to find a waiter at times.
