It is a beautiful space, and they have done a great job creating a covid safe dining space. The service staff was lovely and very attentive.
The one thing we weren't happy with is that they haven't properly addressed the temperature. It was chilly and a little windy. They had no heaters, or blankets or shawls, an no hot drinks. We only made it halfway through the meal and had to get the rest to go.
We waited for about 35 mins for our table. For a restaurant to have strict restrictions about being late, I’d think they would do better about seating us on time. One of our dishes was really bad, Tile Fish. The fish smelled bad, texture was tough, chewy and it was very bland. Overall, it was an okay experience and it was not worth the price. I’d never go back again.
Temple Court on Ten has a great rooftop location, and the afternoon brunch is reasonably priced.
Wonderful, warm service. A delightful respite in FiDi.
The most magical fairytale setting - go while you can!
Lovely setting for a nice meal. Creative menu and excellent service.
Beautiful setting. All the food sounded enticing making it hard to choose. Portions are small-ish but the food is superb. Drinks were also excellent. Overall a great experience especially during corona virus times.
Lovely rooftop outdoor dining. Attentive service.
Tables are a full 6ft apart on the roof, with planters in between some of the tables for privacy. View, food, service are lovely and getting to the roof was safe (alone in an elevator and everyone indoors masked).
Temple Court has done an incredible job of creating a beautiful, very special spot high above the city. We felt safe, cared for and surrounded by the beauty of the evening light on the brick buildings around us. We've always found Colicchio's restaurants to provide the best experiences in the city from Craft to Colicchio and Sons to Temple Court. The service at TC is warm, personal and very human. I can't tell you how meaningful that is today. The food was wonderful. The experience - for our anniversary - was memorable. We'll be back soon.
Very nice rooftop restaurant partitioned off tables with bush walks and floral decor. Went for brunch. Food was good.
This review is during the pandemic. The space created on the roof of the hotel is incredible and something I hope they keep going when things begin to normalize. The service is great, exactly what you would expect from a Tom Colicchio restaurant. We came for dinner when it first started and the staff was excellent with what is going on and the service made us forget we have been living during a weird time. Staff all wore masks and respected the social distancing. As soon as we arrived to the hotel you were escorted to the elevators where we were met with a host that took us to our table. Everything was so great that we decided to return for Brunch. For brunch it seemed a lot more relaxed, still great but not like our first night. It was a good thing we were there before because this time there was no one to direct you, we even had to give some others directions. But once we got to our table everything was just as great as the first time. Hope to go back. Perfect for a date night.
Great food Great service Great ambiance A very special experience. Looking forward to my next visit, never disappoints
Everything was wonderful. The food fabulous. Service was very good considering the circumstances. Thank you to Chef Colocchio for creating a environment we felt very safe in. The rooftop dining space was well appointed music was perfect. It was our first date night in 6 months and my birthday. We are so glad we choose Temple Court.
You cannot go wrong at this Tom Colicchio restaurant inside the Beekman Hotel in lower Manhattan. As indoor dining is still prohibited in NYC, Temple Court has reopened on the outdoor space on the 10th floor penthouse level. Stunning views and even more stunning food. Outstanding and friendly service. We are always welcomed back with smiling faces and hearty hellos.
Food was not well, atmosphere was pretty relaxed.
Absolutely incredible use of the space. The food was expensive but delicious - not a value play but a great spot to celebrate something special.
We love the ambiance and the service. The food is so rich, both of us got sick within an hour or so after we left. $300 for dinner for two is expensive, especially considering we had one glass of wine and 5 small plates between the two of us.
Lovely Setting and excellent service but the food, while good, did not meet my expectations for a Tom Colichio restaurant.
We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed your dining experience with us, Carol! Hope you welcome you back soon!
It wasn’t as memorable as last years with the personalized menus. They were out of certain items such as the glazed lobster appetizer. It was a nice ambiance but I wish we were seated in the floral decorated wing for our anniversary. It was also very buggy out on the rooftop where we spent a good amount of time swatting them away and fishing them out of our drinks. Understand it’s under COVID circumstances. Liked the temperature check and the hand sanitizer dispensers.
rooftop is amazing
The brunch at Temple Court was a disappointment. Due to COVID, the restaurant had arranged brunch on a rooftop. The ambience thus could have been great, but there was no shade available for guests. You had to sit under the scorching summer sun to order food. All guests looked uncomfortable, and chatted amongst each other to say so. At least one group of people came and left after realizing that the restaurant had not arranged for shade. In addition, the food was not great, and definitely not worth the price. Overall, a negative experience.
The food and service were just what you would expect and desire from a Tom Collichio restaurant. However the ambience left a lot to be desired. The tables were bare, worn wood. Plastic table mats were entirely unattractive and uncomfortable due to the summer heat. The worst and perhaps what made everything unpleasant was that there was no sun covering at all. We were seated at a table which we were told was one of the shadiest. Ten minutes later all evidence of shade was gone. No matter how good the food this disregard for comfort and shade spoiled the entire experience.
The terrace is a great place, at least in mild weather. The Beekman hotel is an architectural attraction so the atmosphere coming in is a great mood setter. Service was impeccably attentive and courteous without being overbearing - perfect. The food was delicious, the only minor nitpick being the dessert was very generously served. In itself not a problem, but it clashed with the previous dishes, which were just right. We'll certainly go back.
We ate at Temple Court indoors last year, and have also been big fans of Tom Colicchio's other restaurants, such as River Park, and the fabulous, now-closed Colicchio & Sons. What a treat it was to eat at the rooftop restaurant at Temple Court on a recent Saturday night, and thank you to Mr. Colicchio and his colleagues for their leadership in keeping restaurants alive during COVID.
To reach Temple Court on 10, you enter the building's hotel lobby, where you are greeted with a glass of delicious champagne (the greeter is masked and gloved, and you pick up your glass after it is poured). Then you go up in your own elevator to the 9th floor. Your greeter takes you up in another elevator to the 10th floor, and out to the roof.
One section of the dining area has flower "walls" separating the tables. We ate in the "plainer" area, but it was still lovely. Tables were well spaced, every detail managed beautifully to keep everyone safe from COVID. The food was very good to outstanding, all of it memorable for creativity, freshness of ingredients, and flavor. My favorite: the tilefish that arrived "gift-wrapped" in seaweed-made "box." Oh, and the creme brulee-type desert with berries. Go while it's still warm out!
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, Betty! We look forward to welcoming you back soon!
I'm a big fan of the chef, but the food we had was merely fine, not so great. The rooftop location is wonderful, the tables well-spaced and separated by plants, it was physically very well done. And the servers were terrific, friendly and helpful. I was really looking forward to the prosciutto with melon, but the prosciutto was tiny bacon-bits, and there was a kind of tofu-melt underneath the melon balls -- honestly a nice piece of melon and real prosciutto would have been far preferable. The duck was just fine. Unfortunately there was a plague of small bugs that swarmed our food and wine -- the waiters helpfully gave us coasters to protect our wine glasses, but we couldn't keep them out of the food. Not their fault, I guess, but it made for a somewhat annoying experience. I wish them luck. I assume the kitchen is understaffed because of the pandemic, and it must be near impossible to make money, so I hate to be negative, but this was a disappointment.
It was a wonderful setting w great food, the only problem was the small gnats that constantly went into our drinks so hopefully they find a way to keep those away from the table. Otherwise, it was so wonderful to be able to enjoy a beautiful nyc rooftop dining during this pandemic!
Great outdoor experience. They could use some table umbrellas when it is hot. Staff and service were great!
The food was delicious!
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us- we are thrilled to hear you enjoyed it!
staff did very well considering new/recent migration to rooftop dining. food was great, schwarma was tasty (needs to be noted on menu as spicy!). the very scenic rooftop seating would benefit from some sun/weather cover overhead. will come back again for full dinner!
Excellent food, excellent service and absolutely beautiful surroundings. The clubby dance music did not do the ambience any favors - only complaint, otherwise would have been absolutely perfect :)
Temple Court on Ten is the rooftop iteration of Temple Court, which operated inside the Beekman Hotel. It has a fantastic view of New York by Gehry, Frank Gehry’s 75-story residential building nearby.
Its rooftop location is on two sides of one of the Beekman hotel’s penthouse suites. So far it only has an expensive prix-fixe dinner menu, but it also has a less expensive brunch option on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. The downside of the brunch option, particularly on a hot sunny day, is that the restaurant has no umbrellas or other coverings to keep you out of direct sunlight. You have to stay in the sun until it is low enough in the sky to be blocked by nearby buildings. So the direct sunlight is not a problem for those who can afford dinner here, even before sunset.
Thank you for the kind note, Richard! Thrilled to see everyone enjoyed it- we look forward to welcoming you and guests back!
We absolutely loved the experience we had. The staff was beyond polite and accommodating. Everything was clean. The decor was beautiful. The ambiance was perfect. Cocktails and food also good!
Thank you for taking the time to share, Manisha! Glad you and your guests enjoyed dining with us!
Beautiful setting, brilliant food, terrific service. But with the terrace, you don't get much shade, so wear your best hat!
Food was ok, service, ambiance and experience was amazing without being pretentious
Very enjoyable evening, great ambiance.
Thank you for the kind note! We hope to make your next visit even better!
Family dinner after being reunited

Dinner with our daughter when we dropped her off for college.
Thank you for the high mark, Dana! Wish your daughter a successful start to college!
What a pleasant surprise. Very nice rooftop setup. Would have been great, even without the current events. .Limited menu , but something for everyone, given the Price-Fixe menu , good portions. Only thing was no coffee or espresso. No biggie ,drove to little Italy for some and a second dessert..Strolled there till dark and some..Great night.!!
Thank you, Richard! Our team enjoyed hosting your party and look forward to welcoming you back soon!
Went for a dinner date on 8/19 and the service and experience were amazing! We felt incredibly safe (considering COVID is still a very real problem), the staff was so sweet, and the food was fantastic. Such a romantic and beautiful vibe! Def going back!
Thank you for taking the time to share such a wonderful experience with us, Kim! Hope to see you and your guests back soon!
