Tendrils Restaurant is an upscale dining establishment located at Sagecliffe Resort & Spa in central Washington State. The menu is focused on a farm-to-table philosophy.     Overall good. Ambiance not as great as hoped, seemed more like a cafeteria. Food was good except my husband's burger was a bit overdone. They were out of quite a few wines on the list. A bit pricey but as expected. They gave us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary and a round of drinks which was nice and unexpected. The menu is very limited. Honestly, a good makeover of the kitchen/dining area would help.

    Scallops with butternut squash was phenomenal. Great service. Beautiful atmosphere. Cocktails, wine and whiskey were all great as well. Highly recommend

    I thought for expensive as the rooms were that the food would be so much better. You advertise as from farm fresh to table and I felt like the salads we got were out of a bag from Costco or grocery store. We not fresh greens as advertised on your web sight. The bow tie pasta I got was very greasy, cooked in too much butter. The waiters and all the staff were very kind and courteous. And I think it would be really nice if you at least got a single Keurig in each room. The coffee bags were not good at all.

    It was a great decision to have dinner @ Tendrils Restaurant. The food and service were excellent. The views of the Columbia River gorge are outstanding. We would definitely come back the next time that we are in eastern Washington.

    The resort is in need of maintenance. The food is overpriced and the menu has a very limited selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner, averaging only 4 to 5 items per menu. Will most likely not return to this so called resort.

    Tendril's food is absolutely excellent! never disappointed! Their craft cocktails are yummy too! Love the bar area and the outdoor patio just outside the bar. For you football fans, you can catchup on games in the bar!

    The food offerings could certainly be upgraded and improved. The service staff just needs training, everyone was very pleasant. The setting is spectacular. This area, Quincy/Ephrata and surrounds needs a top level restaurant and dining experience option. I absolutely support Tendrils becoming that place. We will occasionally come back and hopefully note their progress.

    Unfortunately we didn't have the greatest experience at Tendrils. They were out of a lot of menu items, the steak was all fat/gristle, the salad was served without two main items that it should have come with (avocado and onions) and the foccacia should have been just a free bread served for the table. The server did comp us our salads since they weren't served correctly and the steak was poor quality, which we appreciated. With that said, we LOVED the ambience, the live music and the wine!

    Service was slow, loud inside restaurant and concert outside made the experience disappointing. The staff was not attentive, spending more time talking to one another then with their customers. Restaurant was not busy, so no excuses.

    My dinner was served missing one of the foods noted in the plate description. Rather than tell me they tried to over compensate with another ingredient I didn’t care much for. After questioning where the missing vegetable was, the chef sent a substitute vegetable to the table which was very kind, but unwanted. Otherwise, our food server Daisy had a great personality, and the ambiance of the restaurant with a beautiful sun setting outside was very nice.

    Good food, quality ingredients, prepared well but extremely slow service. Here for a special occasion but nothing special about the dinning room or ambiance. Actually sat through a baby crying at one point.

    We came to Tendrils from our Cave B Lake house within walking distance and we were overwhelmed by the view from the second we entered. We had reservations the first night and loved it so much we returned and sat at the bar the second night. The craft cocktails are delicious. Especially the blood orange margarita. The bartender def knows what he’s doing. For food we had the wedge salad (twice), the poke, and the Kobe burger. The poke was fresh and well presented on the plate. The burger (we added avocado and egg) was outstanding and perfectly cooked and the wedge was refreshing and the perfect amount. And the fries with the burger were very good. Hot. Crispy. And easy to devour. This place is a treasure in the desert. It is unbelievable how gorgeous the views are. Like nothing we have ever seen. Come close to sunset and you will be blown away. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The new owners care about making this an experience their customers will never forget. And you feel it. We will def return.

    For an upscale restaurant they could really make some adjustments for the noise inside. It was our anniversary and it was crazy loud. We asked to sit on the patio and no umbrellas we out( scorching hot sun ) but our server was amazing and found a few for us. Our meals were outstanding.

    We love Tendrils. Been coming for 4 years, and it’s always terrific. Food, staff, the view of the Gorge - all outstanding. While I wish there a few more vegetarian/vegan options, they are always willing to make adjustments to accommodate non-meat eaters.

    Tendrils was outstanding, not only for the food, which was exceptional, but also for over the top excellent service at dinner on July 13 and breakfast July 14. The servers and manager did everything they could to make our dining experience wonderful, which it was. Both servers knew the menu very well, and accommodated my GF needs. Much appreciated! They were personable and engaging. We will look forward to our next trip which brings us to Sagecliffe Resort and Spa and the amazing Tendrils Restaurant. 10+

    Tendrils Restaurant is so delectable. We have tried almost everything on the menu in the three days we ate here. Everything was super delicious. The servers were great. Everyone who worked here was very friendly, and the hostess Tara was above and beyond. We highly recommend Tendrils Restaurant.

    We all ordered something different and were all pleased. Our vegan was very happy with the vegan entree option. Atmosphere and service were great. Would be even better if the Cave B wines were available by the glass.

    The views are amazing! The food is just meh... It has a very basic lunch menu, with one salad and nothing healthy. It could be a fantastic food destination but they need to seriously rethink their menus. Oh and they have pizza but it's not on the menu?! It's kinda separate but we saw people being served pizza.

    Food was ok but way overpriced. Wagyu beef appetizer was tasty but comically microscopic. Fortunately the server warned us of this. Biggest issue was open view of kitchen where there was garbage on the floor. Visible throughout our meal and to the whole dining room 🤮

    Took my wife here for her birthday weekend and she loved her steak dish. I didn’t love the basil pasta dish I’d ordered so I ordered the salmon and it was delicious. The service was great and the restaurant has wonderful views.

    It’s all about the view! At time of our dinner they only had one server who did all the tables and was bartender and host. He was very friendly but, not due to his trying, service was slow. The food was ok. Not five star dining but decent. The view is worth just getting an appetizer and a bottle of wine to relax and enjoy a stunning sunset.

    Disappointing experience for a restaurant that is trying to fine dining. Everything was overpriced, food was bland and it took an hour plus to get our entree’s. Not worth the money. Would not go back.

    The views, ambiance, and overall experience was good. This is the only nice restaurant in the area. I wish the food was better though, given the fancy location and that it used to be owned by Cave B. All the food was good, but not what we expected. Breakfast was good, but dinner could be a lot better, given the prices and location.

    We had dinner at Tendrils. We weren't that hungry so I got a burger and my wife got the crab cakes and a salad. My burger was very good and the fries that came with were great. The crab cakes were alright but nothing spectacular and the salad that came with was good, but it didn't have any avocado in it which said it did on the menu. I ordered a Huckleberry Mojito type drink from their drink menu and it tasted good, but I don't think it actually had any alcohol in it. Our server was friendly but not very experienced.
