Did not start well when our booking was not in the book and front of house (male) complained about bookings taken on the internet. “I thought we were taking those any more” quote. Managed to find a table in a half empty restaurant and ordered Sunday lunch. Three meals arrived one was missing. Apparently same front of house told us that the ink was running out on order pad and they had missed the 4th meal. Well there were 4 of us at the table so why not 4 Meals ordered. Not impressed. Main waitress was very good and food was ok but the ho hah at the beginning totally put us off. Would not return.
Lovely hotel and food excellent service and a wide range of menu. Service was excellent very polite waiting staff always happy to help you.
Very nice surroundings without being stuffy, staff very friendly and helpful, food very good. We have been before and will definitely be going back.
