   Good sized place, our first visit and the atmosphere was really friendly. Can't fault the service which was attentive and relaxed. The food and wine were both of a really high standard.

   Delightful Saturday lunch. Beautifully prepared and served food and welcoming and knowledgeable table service. Italian, Antipodean and also Japanese elements to the menu, all brought together in a harmonious way. Today, one of us had the set lunch; the other chose from the a la carte menu. Every dish was good. The Hokkaido scallops, yuzu beetroot-infused velouté, yuzu foam was a standout.

   The restaurant was empty, and - even when we left - there were only two other tables occupied. Dead quiet. This is also my second visit but, each time, the food has been underwhelming. My guest actually disliked his meal. It's neither good old-fashioned Italian, nor nuanced and clever with combinations of flavours. For example, my chicken Milanese was doused in this flavourless red sauce. Why? When I ordered the asparagus, it oddly turned up within less than a minute.

   Very expensive and totally disappointing. For starters I had yhe Aubergine Parmigiana. It was tasteless. I had to ask for Parmesan Cheese to sprinkle on top. My wife had the Roman style artichoke which was equally disappointing. My main was the Wild Sea Bass. This was tasty but an extremely small portion.My wifes main was Tagliolini which was the only dish of our meal up yo expectation.No one at any time asked us how our meal was. Perhaps the inclusion of a 13.5% service charge made this unnecessary. We won't be returning.

   First time dining here, food was good and our host was very lovely. Will come back. Was a Tuesday night so not that busy. Would recommend.

   What warm & smiling service in this lovely restaurant. Food is fine, pretty decor & a lovely place for a relaxed birthday celebration. Call out for wonderful waitress!
