Tetto’s has all the right ingredients- a great menu, terrific location and excellent ambiance. Too bad they couldn’t deliver - they provided surprisingly tasteless food and subpar service that was delivered without apology and with a “no worries” attitude by the waitstaff. We left half our food - it wasn’t worth finishing. There are so many excellent restaurants in Belfast - eat at one of those instead.

To start off, we changed our booking from 21:00 to 20:00 earlier in the day over the phone and when we arrived the restaurant had no record of this so it wasn’t a great start and didn’t make us feel very welcome; luckily they managed to find us a table. Overall service was poor due to slow service for both food and drinks. Total dining experience was around two hours for just two of us, it took over 90 minutes to receive our mains which I believe is far too slow. The garlic doe balls (special) and calamari were bland and lacking in any sort of flavour. The aperol spritz that we ordered came in a tiny glass and cost £12.50, not worth the price at all. On a positive, the pizza’s that we ordered for our mains were tasty and hot but overall we were very disappointed with our experience that was meant to be a special occasion while we were away in Belfast.

We had a great girls night dinner. The chef was very accommodating with our restrictions which was very appreciated. The staff was so easy going and friendly.

We had a guest from usa and we previously been in tetto before. We all ordered mixed seafood grill. Squid was so chewy, the seabass was bitter from grill smoke probably. Not all f dishes had prawn but chef sent a bowl of langoustine Bread also at starter was very hard. Overall was embarrassed in Front of our guest. I dont think i go back ever
