It was so cold that we had to wear our coats and so did the table next to us. Tater tots were served ice cold to all four of us but sandwiches were very good and service was good.
Always my favorite place to be when traveling and visiting Texas.
Best Stars watch party ever.
We had a great time!! Loved the 80’s music to end the night
Great experience to watch a game! The energy was great and still safe enough during COVID.
Great place to watch a game, typical bar-like food
The food wasn't as good as expected. Loved the atmosphere and our table location was awesome!
I wish there was a bigger and better food & drinks selections. Need an upgrade the menu
We were there for the 49er game. The hostess was the nicest and very accommodating of our reservation we had. Though the environment was busy she remained calm and friendly. I even tipped her for her niceness.
I love Texas Live but some of the wait staff 8s either not friendly, too friendly or just don't care. Was there on yesterday and wings was soooo good but when it came to getting nachos with chicken the meat was cold and jalapenos was cold too. Not enough cheese and for $17 give us meat if we paying extra and beans and cheese to make it nachos.
Nia- our waitress was more concerned about her texts and catching up with other staff than clearing our table and refilling our drinks. She was asked twice to clear table and waved over twice for refills. It pained me to leave tip!
We have been wanting to go and was not sure how it was going to be but it actually was a good place to meet and dine. Would recommend getting some more types of beer
A GREAT DALLAS STARS WATCH PARTY!
Dallas Stars watch party. Great venue with lots of energy and give aways. I honestly can’t think of a better venue for something like this. Huge TV’s, massive sound system, LED boards all the way around. What a great place!!!!
We love the atmosphere at Texas Live. We go there for Dallas Stars Watch Parties. Full of energy but the wait staff seems overwhelmed at times. The food is okay and a bit on the spicy side, even when there should really be no spiciness to the food item. Weird. I love that they provide large screens with funny videos and music.
We watched game 6 of the World Series at the Alive Arena. Everything was wonderful (except the Astros lost!). We reserved a table online and it was ready immediately when we got there - with our name on the table, no less. Service was friendly and fast, food was excellent. Our waitress was wonderful! Food prices were a little high, but still a value considering the giant tv showing the game and free iced tea refills all night. Also fun to watch the Mavericks and Stars on big screens just below the main screen. Will definitely be back!
Appetizer serving size was too small for the price.
It wasn’t too busy on Monday 10/7/2019 but it takes wayyyyyy too long to get your food, by the time you get it, it’s almost cold!
Texas live without a minimum spend fee is fantastic. If you have a minimum spend fee for your table turns a good situation into a place not worth the money. Thanks for keeping those fees away!
Did not have my OpenTable reservation (was confirmed for Arena). Others behind me and in front of me had same experience. Would not sit me at any booths or tables, only bar top since it was just my wife and myself. It was not crowded so reservation wasn’t necessary but they didn’t have it nonetheless. Booths and tables were open but I was refused when asked for one. Again, it was not busy on this Tuesday non-game night. Food was ok. Wings were better than average and would order them again. Queso was not good. Beer choices lacking, but that’s at all the restaurants in Live.
Going away for coworker
Overall it was a great experience thanks to great customer service and the atmosphere. However I have to say the food was average, it was definitely a let down. If Texas Lives improves the taste and quality of food I would say this could very easy be my favorite sport bar.
Wish we knew that you could have chosen a better table...
Great place to watch a Dallas Stars game. Great service and nachos were super tasty.
Don't go on game day unless you don't care about service
They lost our reservation, despite my having the confirmation, so we sat upstairs in Choctaw for over an hour waiting for a table to open up (ps no wait staff in Choctaw) - they never sat us in the arena, but rather moved us to miller tavern which has a different menu. Our waiter was rarely seen and didn't put our appetizer order in until reminded, water refills required all but begging. The only thing that was quick was swiping our cards to pay the checks.
The music was turned up so loud for the first quarter+ of the non-Cowboys game that we couldn't have conversation and were disappointed they didn't air the live commentary - this eventually changed thanks to many complaints.
There is zero crowd control so people stand right up against your table and invade your space as they try to get a better view of the big screens.
The bathrooms were appalling, they're cleaner at the stadiums.
Live!!! Always a good time, with nice friendly sports fans!
It was very inviting. The service was amazing our waiter was Collin and he did an EXCELLENT!!!! Job we were very satisfied and plan on coming back.
Texas Live is such a fun place to gather with so many different venues. Whichever venue you choose you can also watch any current sporting event on the 100 or so TVs. We loved the food from the two venues we've been to and lots of live entertainment scheduled in the indoor venues and the outdoor venues.
Ambiance is good, but food was nothing special in the live beer garden. Service is slow. May have to try one of the restaurants like Troy’s, next time.
Had dinner at the live arena and then went to the struts concert at the backyard. Went back to the live arena after the concert for another snack. Great place and atmosphere.
Definitely a good idea to make a reservation. The restaurant was busy. We were a party of 6. Came for lunch before the Ranger's game. Our server was very friendly. Food was excellent. Atmosphere with all of the tvs on different games was a lot of fun. Highly recommend.
Excellent sports restaurant/bar. Very good service. I had a great time.
This is the place we were hoping for in 1994 when they opened what was then the new ballpark. Fantastic.
Very interesting a unique venue combining sports and live music - many food choices and energetic vibe. Humungous tv screens. Everything is big in Texas and this certainly qualifies.
