TGI FRIDAYS - Bridgewater
A good place for family and business gathering.
Nice and friendly bartenders. Food is tasty and flavorful. Drinks are too sweet though unfortunately.
I have to say I will not be booking TGI FRIDAYS again, at least not through Open table. On arrival, we were a bit early so I explained to the host that we were early for our 7:15 pm reservation for 13 ppl. The host then told me it would be at least 1/2 hour for a party of 13 ppl. I then explained again that I had a reservation that was made days ago. He then told me “We don’t take reservations “. I started to become a bit panicked because my son, who had just come from graduation ceremonies needed to be back at his high school for a project graduation. I asked to see the manager. It. Was some time before I could talk to the manager. When I finally did and showed my confirmation email from open table, the manager began running around the restaurant looking for where they could place us. Another hostess asked me how I made the reservation. When I told her that it had been made through Open table, she said “Well there’s the problem, because those only come through on the iPad and the managers never charge the iPad”. At around 7:30 we were brought to 3 tables next to each other in the back area of the restaurant. Not what I was hoping for, but we made due. Other than the front of the house host and hostess and the management, our server was excellent and the food was good. I was just extremely disappointed that I was made to feel like it was my problem and not theirs.
All TGI Friday's have the same food and it is consistent. Disappointed in Bridgewater's Friday because they did not serve baked potatoes. Otherwise they are very accommodating and concerned about their customers. That means a lot to me.
Good food and great service.
Excellent service, food good
The restaurant missed the note on our Open Table reservation saying it was my 7-yr old son's birthday. They typically sing for the birthday person so we were looking forward to it but that didn't happen this time.
The best ribs in town. Food has gotten better over the years.
Fridays has made a major comeback. For a chain, the food and atmosphere has actually improved. Their ribs are great! A few years ago you wouldn't want to go here, now it's actually very good.
I made an Open Table reservation at this restaurant but when I checked in the host had no knowledge of how to check me in with Open Table. I asked the restaurant manager as well and he was clueless. I sent an email to Open Table when I got home but have not yet received any reply.
This was the second time this happened to me at this Friday's.
I am most disappointed in Open Table for not responding to my email. I have been an Open Table subscriber for perhaps 20 years.
Service here has always been bad
Has really gone downhill. Food mediocre at best. Burgers overcooked. Service not great, took forever to get food. There are many other options than Fridays now that are better and less $.
We will go back soon. Plenty to choose from plus they had some easy to become vegan menu items.
Great overall .Service outstanding .Spacial compliments to our server 530 Christia Will visit again
Good meals a reasonable price
They couldn’t find our reservation. Service was just okay.
Very rushed to finish and leave. Place is being renovated but when you have HOURS of operation, stick to them.
Food good, service poor, didn't get order correct, item ordered never received. Coupon for entree didn't deduct from bill, had to go to the manager.
WE went to celebrate my Birthday with my husband and three kids above age 13. the place had no waiting and many tables open but yet they walked us all way in the back, in a corner where noboby else was. it was a sun room at night, viewing the highway and bridge. If we didnt want to stay around people we would have stayed home. My kids are older and behave great when we go out but we all felt like we had some kinda inf. deseases and we had to be isolated when all the other tables where open. Will never go back! worst Birthday outing ever.
We used Open Table because we had bought tickets to a movie for 7:15, so we wanted to be sure we had enough time to eat and make it to the movie. Our reservation was for 6:00, and we got there at 5:58. When we walked in I told the hostess we had a reservation for 6:00 for 2 people. She looked at me and then started looking around the restaurant. She started talking to 2 other hosts for about 5 minutes, ignoring us. I asked if our table was ready and she said "oh sorry, we're full. It'll be a 30 minute wait..." I looked around and there was a 2 person table open. We ended up seating ourselves at the bar, which was an okay experience. The service was a bit slow, and we ordered mozzarella sticks and never got them. Overall, it was a frustrating experience. We love TGI Friday's and are part of the Stripes Club. It was a let down to have such a poor experience.
Food was solid, service was good considering the place was packed
