TGI FRIDAYS - White Plains
I always get the small steak & veggies with a side salad & a glass of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc which I love. Surprisingly the steak did not taste great & was super small this time & had lots of inedible fat. The salad was tasteless. They stopped serving Sauvignon Blanc! My white wine spritzer was flat with no ice. On a more positive note, my kids loved the burgers & Mac cheese as usual & hubby enjoyed his fried shrimp. I hope they work on the steak quality & bring back Sauvignon Blanc.
Only place open at 10 pm and we enjoyed it tremendously !!
The order wasn’t correct the side dishes were in the wrong plate. I ordered a Black Russian only to get a cup full of lots of ice and in 3 straw pulls the drink was finished and also it was weak. I decided to order a martini since it was stronger only to be brought a martini in a regular glass wow everyone knows it goes in a martini glass and again very weak drink. Everywhere I go I have 2 drinks enough to was away the work week but at Friday’s I left the same way I came in I basically paid for 2 ice drinks absolutely will never order a drink there ever again
Awesome place to relax with friends and family. Great food !!!!
Food quality was mediocre. Soup came out cool. Needed to send back. They just reheated the dish. Set back dirty spoon with heated soup caked on. Steak over cooked.
Way too long a wait for food! Server never brought the rewards chips to us! :( The restaurant was not even very busy on NY Eve yet we waited 45 minuted to receive out appetizer order! We wanted to eat dinner but service was SLOW!!! Managers need to get things moving better. This is not the frist time this has happened.
Drinks are very much watered down.
Very busy night. Our waiter was attentive and accommodating. The kitchen got overwhelmed and caused major food delays. Other than that.. another night out.
When we arrived we were greeted quickly and brought to a booth that was extremely dirty and sticky. When we asked the hostess for a new table or to clean it off she told us that was not her job. After that my friend decided that she was no longer hungry but I wanted to get something to eat. It took our server 20min to come to ask us what we wanted to drink by the time we got our drinks we were there for 45min. No food was ordered at this time. I finally got to order chicken wings and pot stickers. Once the pot stickers came out the server slammed the plate on the table and asked if I was happy? At that moment I was not happy with her attitude. The wings came out next and they were ice cold and rock solid. Definitely disappointed. I waited a bit for my server to return and when I told her that I wasn't happy with the chicken wings she sucked her teeth at me and when I asked for a manager she said they were not willing to speak to me. When I asked for the check nothing was removed or voided and when I asked I got no response. Overall super terrible experience. I will not return.
Every time I come here, it is very warm & uncomfortable & I always have to ask them to turn up the a/c. My kids always love their food. I was disappointed at all the fatty areas in my strip steak. Waiter was awesome & always checking in on us. Wish they would add a different Sauvignon blanc to they list!
Service is usually slow...servers often preoccupied.
The chicken on my Strawberry Salad was very bland for some reason.
The hostess was rude, didnt seem to understand when we said we had a reservation.
We were seated and it took close to 15 min before anyone even acknowledged us, we were actually just about to leave when the waiter finally came over.
I ordered a chicken sandwich, unaware that there were 2 different types, when that is usually the case the waiter asks which one i would like. Needless to say i got the fried one not the grilled. The waiter was nice enough about it & put in a rush for the grilled. The chicken sandwich was horrible, rubbery almost tasted like it was over cooked or microwaved. We were kinda in a rush for a movie. My husband ate it, he pretty much eats anything, and i didnt end up eating.
So overall not a great experience.
We went to Friday's because of a tv ad we saw about ribs at a bargain price. Not at this location. Not a deal. Long wait to get service, long wait for each item. And the balsamic vinegar cruet was chipped. I asked for a replacement when we could finally hail our server, and that did come fairly quickly. Despite it being Saturday, they were not that busy, so I don't know why it took so long for each item to arrive, even water at the start. Coffee unavailable because their machine was broken! Really! If I was the manager I would have sent someone across the street to the Walmart to buy a couple of 12 cup machines (one for regular, one for decaf). Water for tea could be boiled on the stove. Total expense under $50, and considering what they charge per cup, the entire cost would be made up in a few hours.
My son loves the Mac n cheese there. My other son loves the kids sliders. I always enjoy their house salads. Dad likes the turkey burger. Excellent, attentive service! Great place for the family.
Decent food and drinks but make sure to tell management to turn on the a/c.
The service was impecable from the moment we entered the restaurant till the moment we left. I wish that every TGI Fridays operates the same way as this one.
Good food! Drinks took a while. Not even from the bar! All non alcoholic! Overall good though!
When I arrived for my reservation, the hostess told me they are so backed up and that the reservation doesn’t mean anything and they are on a first come first serve wait of 30-45 minutes. She didn’t even ask for my name. I made a stink, spoke to a different hostess and she told me her opentable system was down and that she couldn’t do anything with the confirmation email I had from Opentable. I again pleaded that answer was unacceptable because if I knew there would be a wait, I would have come earlier. She made us wait about 15-20 min and then sat us. They never brought place settings or silverware. They delivered our app we were sharing without any plates or utensils, and we needed to help ourselves to utensils from other tables. The drinks arrived after the appetizer was delivered. Our dinners were good. My friend and I ordered the same steak dinner and our dinners arrived looking differently somehow. Unfortunately, the little girl who we were eating with began to get sick at the table, when we raced to get a waitress and napkins, she told us we had to wait. Overall, we will never dine there again. The absolute craziness of it all, the restaurant was basically filled with empty tables because I am assuming they were understaffed, so people were being caused to constantly wait for everything but it seemed insane because the place looked empty.
Food was awesome. Service was ok not to many people and just a little slow !
Very nice for my large group...they waitress pulled several tables together for us. The server was good and attentive.
I was suprised TGIF has not heard of the warning from the CDC on Romaine lettuce. We were hoping TGIF had an alternative lettuce but they did not and had not heard of the warning put out for the entire US area regarding the possible contamination of lettuce.
I also would love to have the half salad/soup & sandwich option for the dinner menu.
It was very nice that the Manager visited our table. Our waiter was very good.
The manager knew how to work the door. Seated in less than five minutes at 700pm on a Saturday without a reservation (host station computer just went down). Server took the order quickly and was attentive. The. The restaurant was crowded so it took a little longer than expected to get served, but then again it was prime time on a Saturday night.
I was happy I downloaded the app or we wudda waited like 30 minutes. I dislike that my food took awhile to come. My girlfriends food came fast besides her mash potatoes. I kept asking where was my food it took about 20 minutes after my girlfriends after asking everyone where my food was and nobody knew they said a few minutes. Her mash potatoes finally came after my food did that was upsetting by that time I lost my appetite
Unfortunately, this location has gone downhill. Now that it is a franchise, menu prices are going up while quality is going down. I would say skip it till they are done with the renovations and see how it is then.
Fridays is like a guilty pleasure. You're not going to be amazed, but you'll leave satisfied and happy. The menu is filled with fun diversions like non-alcoholic slushies, unlimited appetizers and tiki cocktails for the adults. A great choice for a winning meal with kids. Not a place you'll want to go often, but a place you'll be happy to have chosen whenever you do go.
I have been to this restaurant a lot and always loved the food but this time, unfortunately, the waitstaff had computers that were malfunctioning and orders weren't put through to the kitchen so people prior to us were waiting a while and then had to wait again while the staff reloaded the orders onto the computer. The waitress and staff were very apologetic and kind considering this mishap that was no fault of their own. Unfortunately, the fries came out tasting like yesterday's fries and the steak was not very tasty. I enjoyed my garden salad and wine, though! Don't let this "one off" happenstance prevent you from going. I will go again as I've always enjoyed it.
It's a Fridays, you know what you're getting: decent burgers and entrees with a focus on sharable plates and fun cocktails. The restaurant was clean and the staff was all pleasant and professional. Food and drinks came promptly and were prepared to order. Fridays might not be a typical OpenTable type restaurant, but I wish more chains used it.
This place sucked they blasted crap Spanish music the whole time for a bad DJ and it took 1 hour and 45 mins to just get food to the table and they left hafe of the food in the kitchen and took another 30 to get that to the table, the server was good and tryed but the rest of the place was bad and the food suck on top of it and so if it came out cold never going back there
We had my sons 16 birthday here. Service was excellent. The kids loved the food (though there's not a lot of healthy options for adults at all). Drinks are generous. And the value is fantastic.
I made reservations for a family gathering. We just a funeral service for our unclemails earlier that afternoon and I knew TGI Fridays would brighten my mother and my aunts spirit. The family laughed and laughed. The food was great . Our waitress was awesome. She was so polite and patience with all of us. My niece has autism and she listen the waitress listen to my cousin and brought out my neice special meal. No questionschool asked. Overall the evening was great! I would come back . Thank you.
Don't bother. When I arrived on NYE they told me they don't take reservations and have no idea what opentable is. Was then sat in a closed section with a server showing up 20 minutes later.
