An extensive range of over 30 teas are accompanied by twists on classic sandwiches, homemade scones with clotted cream, jam, and lemon curd, and the talented pastry team’s selection of pastries, each one a tempting work of art. Our first time visiting The Savoy together. An amazing Afternoon Tea experience. Nitsa looked after us incredibly well. We loved it and will be back again one day!
Fabulous as always with excellent service, particularly from Neska and Avatar.
This is the best afternoon tea by far. The staff can't do enough for you, helpful, willing and always smiling. The experience is first class and my dear friend who's birthday we were celebrating where blown away with it all. Thank you to all for all you've done for us and how you all made us feel so special.
Cant fault the service. Food fantastic and get plenty of it!
Delicious food and one of our waitresses, a Canadian young lady, was excellent
Our other waitress however was not so good. I had to ask 3 times for a glass of water & eventually received it after paying my bill. A service charge of over £18 for this level of service was steep I felt.
Very enjoyable afternoon although we felt a bit hassled after we had been there for 1:30min. The staff were really trying to move us on and box up what was on the stand even though we were still eating. We were aware of our time allowance but felt staff were rushing us to leave. This resulted in a negative feel to the whole experience.
What a wonderful experience. The staff were attentive but not intrusive. The ambience was exactly what I'd hoped for. The afternoon tea menu was excellent, the sandwiches fresh and the fillings so tasty. But, the real star of the show were the cakes!! From the melt in your mouth scones to decadent chocolate tortes. Devine.
Great afternoon tea . Well looked after by all . Thank you
I want to go back next week
. . A location and ambience to suit the occasion of my 60th birthday . . there is no better place than The Savoy . . legendary exemplary service and attention to detail . . a wonderful place . .
A great experience! The service was amazing, the staff very friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and almost too much.
All to the sound of piano played live.
Couldn’t have wishes for a better venue for an Anniversary treat. Impeccable but unobtrusive service from friendly, professional all round team. Great ambience and other guests seemed to be enjoying experience as much as we did.
Fabulous food and the service was excellent!! It was a wonderful experience!
I am sorry to have to write this but I was so disappointed with the Afternoon Tea that I had at The Savoy yesterday. It certainly was not value for money.
I had Afternoon Tea at The Ritz in June of this year and that experience was far superior to the one that I had at The Savoy. The sandwiches and pastries along with the service was of a greater standard at The Ritz than at The Savoy.
I would highly recommend The Ritz but i would not recommend The Savoy.
Was definitely not worth the £220.00 that we were charged.
This was truly an amazing experience and I would recommend it to anyone to go to at least once in your lifetime.
Afternoon tea very nice staff attentive and a really nice experience
It was truly an amazing experience. We really enjoyed our time. It's not a must do but if you can afford it, I highly recommend it.
Thank you for our lovely afternoon tea at the Savoy, the waiting staff were outstanding from the welcoming greeting to our departure they could not do enough to make us feel comfortable and happy, the food was delicious, we will definitely be back again.
Kim, Anthony,Michael and Christine
Lovely atmosphere, wonderful waiting staff. Delicious goats cheese and fig tart. Sandwiches were nice but not amazing. Some cakes were delightful, others were a bit bland.
Overall excellent with very good service as would expect from Savoy. Only issue was being seated and then asked to move without an explanation or apology for the inconvenience
Fantastic - great food, great atmosphere, brilliant attentive staff - piano playing in the background - it doesn’t get any better than the Savoy!
Our first impression of Afternoon Tea was not good. We had to wait 30 minutes from our booked time, as did a few other diners. However, on arrival at our table, we were offered complimentary champagne to apologise for the wait. The waiter was an absolute delight and we had a great afternoon. He then proceeded to secure us a table in the Cocktail Bar, where we continued our celebrations with more complimentary champagne!
Afternoon tea at the Savoy was on our bucket list and it lived up to our expectations. We felt totally relaxed, the decor and ambiance was perfect. The sandwiches and cakes were very fresh and tasted amazing. It was all superbly served.
Fabulous experience for my daughters 30th. From start to finish we couldn't fault it. We started with the champagne then a delicious selection of open and closed sandwiches. We were so well looked after by Andrea from Sicily. Fabulous selection of cakes came next with our choices of teas. My daughter even got a special cake with candle and card for her birthday from the staff. A lady pianist played for us too which was an added bonus. Top notch thank you 🙂
Absolutely terrific with impeccable service. Can’t wait to come back on our next visit to London. The Savoy Hotel is the epitome of class!
Attended for a special occasion, wonderful experience.
The most amazing afternoon tea, excellent service and beautiful setting.
Afternoon tea for my mum's birthday was very enjoyable at the Savoy. Excellent setting, great service provided by the staff and the food and drink were good. A couple of years ago I visited the Ritz for afternoon tea and their proposition is better value as you are welcome to eat as much scones and sandwiches as you can handle. Hence this gets 4 stars instead of 5.
Perfect anniversary afternoon tea thank you
Absolutely the best. Wonderful memories. And the Pianist brilliant xx
Afternoon tea at the Savoy is always excellent! Been several times for celebrations over the past few years. In our view, afternoon teas here are superior to the Langham, Browns, Chesterfield, and The Goring.
Amazing service by Rashmir to celebrate my husbands birthday, lovely food & a birthday cake whilst singing happy birthday, accompanied by the amazing pianist!
Great service and food. We were at the bottom of the steps so had quite a lot of people passing in their way to the bar but still had a good time. It was my wife's birthday and the pianist played Happy Birthday To You and she was given a small cake with a candle which was lovely. Food is rich and filling so you need to be hungry!
Very expensive for what it is…….so many better places in London to go for Afternoon Tea. One round of sandwiches and a couple of cakes for £65 is not good, even for London. Service was only average and feel that these places are living off reputation but it will not take long for that reputation to disappear.
Exceeded expectations in every way
Amazing as always, beautiful surroundings, fantastic service and wonderful food. Took a friend for her birthday and she said it was one of her best birthday presents ever
Perfect afternoon treat. Maybe a little too much tea & coffee,
Enjoyed the experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They made my 73rd birthday very special.
Everything was fabulous! Just as you would expect from The Savoy! Good Theatre.
Outstanding, recommend to everyone that happens to be in London
