The 3 Brewers- Yonge St
Cool set up and layout. First time here and will certainly be back. Food was great, decent selection of beers on tap. Would recommend!
Server was actually quite good, but it took approx 45 mins to get our first drinks which was a bit frustrating.
Always good but servers are rarely aware of promotions or the low-tech loyalty program. Need better training to make the experience complete. Yes, I will be back.
Loved the flight and loved the appetizers
I booked for my boyfriend's birthday and our server was great !!
We live in the Peterborough area and always come back to The 3 Brewers -- we know that we are going have good beer and food. The food came very quick and we were pleasantly surprised -- see you next time when we come back to Toronto.
Service was fast and the food was good. It would have been perfect if all the appetizers came out at the same time. I’ll definitely go back and i’ll Recommend to anyone looking for a quick, casual dinner.
That was a noisy place with crowd of people. And poor service with the dark ambiance. That was my birthday and after eating our dinner we had a cake but the servants did not let us to stay and asked us do you need your bill or you want to stay?
The starter came when we were half finished our main meal which was lukewarm at best at least the starter was hot. The absence of a server was annoying.
We had Tickets Ed Mirviash we are running a little late and they hold our table. I asked for a quiet special table and the manager definitely had set up for us. The manager and waitress for extremely time conscious of our tickets. Everything was absolutely on point.!!
We had a great table by the window, slightly quieter but not much. Food and service were good and timely but the noise level made it difficult to have a conversation.
The service was outstanding! Top-notch. The menu offered a wide-selection of choices and the food was good. We were happy to be there for happy hour as it was a bargain. A great place to share good times with a group of friends or for a date. The ambience was lively and fun. I would recommend trying the 3 Brewers (Yonge Street) if you are in the 'hood.
Pre show dinner 6 people
Mussels and hamburgers delicious
Would definitely revisit!
Great lunch deal with the beer, salad/soup and main course. Very good coffee. The restaurant was busy because of the theatre, but the service was great.
Food was delicious, service was prompt. All in all, we had a very good experience at the 3 Brewers and I’m heading back tonight!
Did not get in the area we had reserved. Where we were seated was extremely loud, making conversation almost impossible. The food was the saving grace except the waitress took it upon herself to change our order from 2 separate orders to an order for two telling us it was $5.00 cheaper. We knew that but she had already put the order in. Taking everything into consideration it was a good experience.
Our server Jessica was friendly and very attentive. I had the house burger and it awesome and my sister
had the fish & chips. she loved it and the portion was very generous. Would definitely go back.
We were there for dinner prior to Mirvish theatre, just 2 of us. Noise level in the back area was high; it would have been difficult for 4 people to have a conversation. That said, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals - fish and chips for my wife, and pulled pork sandwich for me. Great selection of in-house beers. We will definitely go back.
We came tonight before going to see Come From Away. We were seated in the upstairs bar area, and the bartender was our server. Our party arrived gradually but the bartender took up to 10 minutes to approach the table to get drink orders each time a few people arrived. He was not busy, he was simply behind the bar paying more attention to his cell phone and/or standing there staring off into space rather than ensuring his tables were getting what they needed.
When we finally put our food order in, he took the order rather impatiently. The food came out in two rounds, approximately 5-10 minutes apart. Those who received their food first had room temperature food before the remainder of the food arrived.
One guest in my party had ordered the BLT with no mayo and it ended up coming with mayo on it. I mentioned this to the bartender who didn’t seem to be all too concerned about it. The gentleman who was running our food was more than happy to assist with the issue and promptly returned the food to the kitchen and brought back a replacement. When he asked our server/bartender if he was taking care of our group the bartender very snarkily replied “Yeah. I’ll get to them in a minute!”
Anytime he approached the table he was very short with us, not at all pleasant or friendly to deal with. At one point after our meal I had to signal him to ask for another beer and he simply rolled his eyes at me as he came around from behind the bar to see what I wanted. When I ordered my beverage he went back behind the bar and first went to his cell phone to check/reply to a message from what I could see. Eventually he poured my drink and brought it to the table, plopped it down and walked away.
Again, we had to ask for what we needed next when it came time to get the bill. Overall, none of us would say it was a pleasant experience from a service perspective and I would seriously reconsider returning again or recommending it to a friend or family member visiting the area.
Great food & service as always! Very energetic ambience on friday nights.
Easy to find location with plenty of seating for any occasion. Food is awesome here compared to other pubs. The flammekueches are a must! The New Delhi flammekueche is delicious! The price is more than fair for the quality of service and food that you are getting.
Perfect location - lots of food selection - casual ambiance
Had to wait an extended period of time for cutlery when food had already arrived. So busy that our server did not serve us drinks/water for almost 20min after being seated
Liked the 45 min guarantee - as getting back to the office on time was important for some of us. Also liked the set menu options- great value
Food quality is definitely an area to improve. Other than that, it was great experience
Wanted a place to celebrate my birthday, have a few beers and bring my toddler. Great choice.
Overall everything was just okay. There was some confusion at the host stand when we arrived, they initially seated us at a table for another group. Then it took probably close to ten minutes to be greeted by our server, so a little slow to start. But after that he was great, attentive but not intrusive.
The food was mediocre at best. I think the best thing was probably the burger based on my father-in-law’s feedback. The mussels weren’t great quality seafood (tasted like previously frozen) but the sauce was tasty. The Moroccan salad was tasteless and soggy though, and the “carrot salad” ended up being essentially a few bits of shredded carrot tossed in with basic salad greens. There were only four small shrimp for the protein. One universal hit was the soft pretzel, which was served hot and fresh.
The bar music got turned all the way up shortly after we arrived, making it too loud for comfortable conversation at only 5:30pm. I completely understand trying to set a certain ambience, but it was a bit much even for those of us in our thirties.
Cheap wine was a plus! Not that you would go for the wine. But the drink prices overall were good.
I wouldn’t go back based on the food being a disappointment, but again, nothing wrong with the service.
Great place, nice food and beers
While I said yes, the true answer is maybe. Depending on who I was to advise. The food was great.
Our server, while new to the restaurant (3 days) was great, attentive, and she did her best to know the menu. The noise, however, was horrendous. I like how you said "Energetic" instead of "so loud you can't hear your table-mate". I guess if you know that going in then your opinion of it would be different. For a Tuesday early dinner we found it noisy. I can't even imagine what it would be like if the second floor were full of people too.
The food was great so that saved the experience for us.
Far too much noise. Some was from inside - customers and radio; the worst was from the street as there was no closed window/ wall to the exterior of the room.
I requested tap water immediately on arrival and finally, after 30 minutes, a bottle of Evian water was provided; I accepted ( and paid for) it because I did not want to wait for another 30 minutes to finally get some.
The service was awful! First, we had to ask the waiter three times for a glass of water. Then when they brought out our main courses they only had 4 out of 5 entrees. They told us the last one would be out in a few minutes but it did not arrive. We had to track down another waiter because ours never came back and by the time they finally brought the last entree it had been almost half an hour and everyone else at the table had finished their meal. They apologized and said we would get the entree free of charge. Then it took us another 15-20 minutes to find the waiter to order dessert, and we had to wave him down again for the cheque - and to top it off he forgot to remove the late entree when he gave us the bill. The food was delicious - but you need lots of patience and free time if you want to eat here.
Fab Service. Everyone enjoyed their beer and meals.
Loved it will definitely be back, beer was tasty, food delicious and reasonably priced... Enjoyed it.
Obviously there is a privileged way of booking a table, through direct calling. This other way will enable you to make specific requests like preferred seating next to the window.
When we arrived, we asked for an available table if 4 and were said it was reserved for another customer. This option was not proposed through opentable.
We were then seated almost alone upstairs. By the way, the other customer never came and we were not proposed to move.
Poor management and mainly inexperienced employees.
Excellent service. Nice ambiance upstairs for a team dinner, allowing conversation without alot of noise. Excellent pretzel and beer cheese, and the beer batter cod was so fresh and tasty. Will definitely go back.
The service was not good and the food was not fresh.
Server very attentive and got us to show on time. No concerns
Reception was good and our waiter was pleasant. The staff serving food that had been ordered seemed to be confused about what tables the food was meant for. Not sure if we were there on a night a number of new hires were working? Our pizza arrived and as my friend and I each had a piece in our hand the waiter came over and told us the wrong pizza had been delivered to our table. A table just over from us had our pizza and the waiter took the pizza we were given over to their table (just as one of the guests had taken a piece). The waiter switched the pizzas. In fairness, he did offer to order us another pizza but time was short for us so we accepted the pizza that had been at the other table. Our meal was ok but not nothing was great enough to return.
stopped in for dinner before the theatre with my 92yr. old Mum, my sister, neice and myself. We were very impressed with the service and food. Great craft beer. A little noisy, but could hear each other without yelling. The menu offered a nice variety and reasonable prices. Would definitely go back.
