Excellent food, very tasty and large menu, friendly service, would recommend
Three of us visited the restaurant and we each picked 3 tapas dishes off the menu. Portions sizes we very good, and we certainly weren’t short of food. The dishes were delivered at timely intervals rather than together. I would certainly recommend the beetroot salad to accompany the meat dishes. The total cost of 9 dishes, 4 glasses of wine and 2 beers was close to £120 so it’s not cheap, but it’s certainly a place to enjoy your food. We will certainly be returning.
Great food and wine. Quite a quiet atmosphere
Very nice food, good atmosphere and great service would recommend a dinner there
Adega has great food, with friendly and attentive service. They were very helpful and patiently guided a gluten intolerance patron through the menu, modifying some of the tapas when possible.
Delicious tapas and very nice service. This was my second visit and I will definitely be back.
Some dishes better than others. Service was great, our waiter was very attentive
Without a doubt the best restaurant in Wimbledon and one of the best tapas places in London.
Lovely tapas but tiny portions so quite pricey. The basic decor doesn’t match the high end food.
Food was excellent but the manager/owner only served one table which were given the specials, told how many ways each dish could be prepared, given the information what is the freshest today. Obviously he knew them and wasn’t interested in gaining any other regulars for himself. Having spent £140 including service charge of 12.5% I didn’t feel special and important enough costumer. Again, having said that, what we ordered was made from scratch and tasty. Service was fast.
Service was great, the octopus outstanding and I will definitely be back. The rice pudding also hit the spot.
Very pleased with our visit. We were specially looking for Portuguese restaurant and this did not disappoint. Excellent attentive service, reasonably priced with varied menu. Convenient, as short walk from Wimbledon station. It was fairly quiet on the Sunday evening we visited, but this is quite a large establishment so may be noisier at times. Good wine list and superb fish. Only criticism is the lighting could be better.
Very kind staffs, food was great, I am glad now we have tapas place in Wimbledon.
Amazing must go!
It was quite nice. It’s a bit unusual tapas restaurant for me. I was thinking tapas restaurant is more Spanish way in my images however this restaurant is more Portuguese style tapas bar. It was good surprise for me. I will come again.
The Adega has recently opened in Wimbledon and am delighted to have such a great new restaurant. The food was really fresh and delicious and the staff couldnt have been friendlier and made us feel so welcome.
Lots of delicious Portuguese/Spanish tapas. Lovely seafood - in fact all the dishes were excellent.
I would highly recommend this restaurant! We had an amazing time from start to finish, the service was excellent, we were given good recommendations on food and wine. The gambas, venison and croquettes were incredible!
Really authentic tapas with a great ambiance.
