Lovely experience for my birthday. Great food especially the calamari & the iberico crocketts. Their roof top terrace is brilliant in keeping you warm on a cold day. Great find X
We had lovely food and staff were very helpful ,love this restaurant
Good service, good food - a great experience all round.
Amazing food and a lovely little restaurant in the heart of Wimbledon
Giant king prawns in garlic are a MUST
Already recommended to family and friends
Only constructive feedback is that we had to wait a little while to be served for drinks on arrival but very minor
Excellent. A tad expensive.
Great and friendly. (I did a longer positive review that got lost by the opentable website.)
Very Very good Lunch and Tapas
Food was nice - nothing wow but nothing wrong either.
Food was delicious and the service was great. Will definitely go back.
The restaurant was great and the social distance seating arrangement was also acceptable. The 2200hrs covid 19 closure was a bit of a shame though as I could have stayed there until 0100hrs the next mrning!
Amazing tapas! Really amazing! The croquettes and the the salted cod was the best I have tasted. Thinking about it.... the scallops and pork belly was amazing too. We will definitely be back!
Junior waiting staff need more training, but once the manager took control, the service improved and his generous offers made up for the initial poor service. The food is very good.... I like Portuguese food, especially the sardines !
Overall an enjoyable evening.... we will return.
The restaurant was very noisy . Some of the staff were wearing their face masks incorrectly .. under their noses . We had a couple of Tapas dishes to start which were ok but we had to ask for plates. It all went down hill from there . One of our party ordered chicken salad which was swimming in cheap mayonnaise so he couldn’t eat much of it. The steak another member ordered was like rubber and the so called Cataplana was just terrible . Comprised of mainly closed mussels and clams .. uncooked potatoes in a tasteless broth . Such a disappointment . Maybe we should have stuck with the tapas ??
We will not be returning . On a positive note the staff were pleasant but a bit chaotic.
Excellent meal. Would definitely recommend the tapas
The tapas at Adega in Wimbledon is absolutely amazing! Innovative and delicious - will be back again and again. They made us feel really welcome. The garlic prawns were exceptional, also the calamares and pretty much every dish we had! Thank you very much
Very good place and food, also the the staff is very helpful!
Absolutely love this restaurant, one of my all-time favourites. The food is incredible, the service is spot-on (attentive and very friendly without being intrusive), lovely atmosphere. It really is amazing.
A little more on the food: there is an excellent mix of tapas and mains so you have the option depending on how you feel upon arrival. The quality is outstanding and the price is very, very reasonable.
Honestly, one of the best places I have ever been to.
Very generous portions!
We went on a winter lunchtime. The Adega was cosy and welcoming. The food was delicious. The owner and staff charming.
We were really looking forward to going here but sadly the service was not up to scratch. The waiter ignored us for most of the evening and our empty plates were left on the table for an hour.
Welcoming, efficient (without being pushy) with such lovely food. My daughters loved the squid ink risotto so much that my husband and I had to order something extra for ourselves 😁. Will definitely be going back xxx
Drinks and manger were great! Also the patatas bravas were amazing. The rest of the food was very mediocre and service was rather slow on a quiet evening. Fine evening but would not rush back.
Lovely service and food
We found the menus to be quite complicated. There were six of us eating and two if us arrived a bit late. Overall I found the street food dishes to be delicious and we ordered 10 of them on the advice of the friendly waitress. We mainly stuck to that menu. Two of us shared a bottle of white wine and that menu choice was limited - 5 options from memory. The rest drank beer. I also had a margarita which was fab. We had tacos and salsa/guacamole dips to start as well - all very nice. Some of us ordered dessert - the donuts with choc dip (v average) and a tart which was like a creme caramel no pastry/biscuit base which they weren't expecting. Overall I would go back but the I have to say the service from the chap waiter who took over when we moved to a bigger table helped to complicate it all for us. He seemed as confused as we were at times.
After theatre dinner experience! A 12.5% service charge was added to our bill although service was non-existent! We ordered cocktails on arrival but they were very disappointing ( small, watered down and not garnished ) but definitely with a price tag as they were all over £9/£10 each! Tapas were tasteless and cold!
The waiter lacked knowledge on drinks & food as he couldn’t answer some of our questions! Overall dissatisfied with the venue as it had been recommended! Maybe it was an off night for them!
3 cocktails 1 bottle water, 1 juice, 1glass of wine, 2 liquors and 7 tapas £135.50
First time at Adega and really enjoyed the evening. Some great dishes and interesting wines. A nice addition to Wimbledon.
Many great options from Iberia. I will certainly be going back.
Excellent food , authentic and wide variety , friendly service , highly recommend
Lovely atmosphere, friendly service and food was delicious. So many great choices on the menu, will definitely go back. Great addition to Wimbledon!
Such a lovely, friendly, family-run place. They were really helpful and child-friendly. The restaurant was clean and lovely, and the food was excellent - I've never had Portuguese tapas before and they were delicious! Highly recommend.
Tapas meal for 5 people with two bottles of wine plus service that was very prompt but we were not felt rushed came to £150. Food good and little left over. Excellent
Lovely food and staff!
Excellent food, very tasty and large menu, friendly service, would recommend
Three of us visited the restaurant and we each picked 3 tapas dishes off the menu. Portions sizes we very good, and we certainly weren’t short of food. The dishes were delivered at timely intervals rather than together. I would certainly recommend the beetroot salad to accompany the meat dishes. The total cost of 9 dishes, 4 glasses of wine and 2 beers was close to £120 so it’s not cheap, but it’s certainly a place to enjoy your food. We will certainly be returning.
Great food and wine. Quite a quiet atmosphere
Very nice food, good atmosphere and great service would recommend a dinner there
Adega has great food, with friendly and attentive service. They were very helpful and patiently guided a gluten intolerance patron through the menu, modifying some of the tapas when possible.
Delicious tapas and very nice service. This was my second visit and I will definitely be back.
Some dishes better than others. Service was great, our waiter was very attentive
Without a doubt the best restaurant in Wimbledon and one of the best tapas places in London.
Lovely tapas but tiny portions so quite pricey. The basic decor doesn’t match the high end food.
