American
The Admiral is Mission Group's newest bar and restaurant, the fourth venue that the company has opened since 2014. It features four bar areas and one of the city's largest patios, a sprawling, 2,000 square foot landscape looking out directly to historic Dupont Circle.

The Admiral offers happy hour seven days per week from 4 pm to 7 pm. The dinner menu features modern American fare, including a variety of New England-style seafood options as well as a few southern touches.

As with all Mission Group venues, we seek to be your go-to spot for any and all types of events ranging from casual birthday parties to game watches to full scale corporate buy-outs. We treat each and every event with care and take pride in our lightning fast response time to inquiries

On Friday and Saturday nights after dinner and game watches have ended, we welcome some of the city's best DJs to keep things going strong right until close.

Brunch will begin in early 2020 and include a bottomless option.

The Admiral wasn't exactly what we expected -- we were hoping for a nice seafood restaurant (given their reputation for oysters), but it was really more of a sports bar than a restaurant. Think bare floors, wooden booths and tables and lots of large screen TV's. So, not much in the ambience department, but the oysters were wonderful!! Fresh, briny and meaty. The burger was also great, along with the kale salad. Crab cake was only so so -- we'll just order more oysters next time.

The happy hour is also a great deal -- 50% off the oyster platters and deals on apps, beer and wine. HH runs on the weekends too. We'll be back to sit out on the sidewalk cafe once the weather's a bit warmer.

The food was alright, great fries. We had to wait a few minutes for our table but the servers were extremely nice. The restaurant was very loud which made it hard to have a conversation. It’s a nice happy hour destination but I wouldn’t go back for a relaxing dinner

I've been here a few times and The Admiral can't keep me away.
Food here is so good - local oysters, big juicy burgers, perfectly crispy fries and quite possibly the best wings I've ever had. T
he service here is unmatched. I love the friendly bartenders and the fast clearing of plates and glasses from ninja-like barbacks.
The atmosphere is lively and fun. I always run into someone I know at The Admiral. A special gem of a place that was needed in Dupont Circle is finally here.

The Admiral is NOT a restaurant...It is a NIGHTCLUB AND BAR that serves food...great young crowd if that is what you are looking for, but is BY FAR the loudest place I've been in DC-

Can't rate the food because we left before ordering....however, a very interesting menu-

Great spot, very lively! Perfect for large groups who want to eat while listening to music and transition into a bar night. This is going to definitely be a new DC hot spot!

The Admiral is a brand-new bar. I often dine at their sister location, Mission. Our meal was great- we had the oysters, brisket sliders, lobster pasta and roast chicken. I love that oysters are half-priced during happy hour, which is available even in the dining room. There is a good selection of drafts and cocktails. Our server was very new but very friendly. Like Mission, the place has a ton of energy with multiple bars and TVs. We'll be back!
