The buffalo wings was exquisite and both parents are not vegan but fully enjoyed the entire meal and the service. Overall it is a great experience and will be visiting again.

This was by far the best way for my husband and I to end our UK vacation. Everything was perfect from the food to the service! The sauce served with the aurbergine and chips was one one of the best things I’ve ever tasted in my life.

Good food with some interesting flavour pairings. Staff were friendly and explained all the dishes well but a little too laid back and unhurried and it was sometimes difficult to get their attention despite the restaurant not being busy. Tasty food, nice decor- would recommend, but leave your self plenty of time to enjoy it.

One of the best vegan food experiences I've had.
I was told from my wife to say that "even the tomatoes were good, and I generally don't like tomatoes".
Keep it up!

Nice atmosphere, friendly, knowledgable service. The food was excellent also. Decent starter and main portion sizes but dessert (one in particular) very small.
I would recommend and return

As a committed omnivore I was interested to see if I'd miss the usual main event of my meal choices...and honestly not one little bit. Went for the midweek special set menu and every course was sensational. The soup came with beige beigenets and a mushroom dipping sauce that I'd have kept eating for as long as it was put in front of me! Just give this place a go...

The 3rd dish on the 10 course tester menu needs changing in my view, it was lettuce on lettuce. (in comparison to the other dishes, it is easily the weakest)

The whole thing was amazing, maybe slightly pricey but the food was delicious.

We had the 5 course tasting menu and the food was fantastic, portion sizes were perfect and the glass of chardonnay spot on. Thanks. A great restaurant serving high quality food. Oh and also vegan.

Great starters but both our mains were just soggy, tasteless vegetables - aubergine steak was just undercooked aubergine and hasselback courgette was watery in a sickly coconut gloop with uncooked lumps of potato and Jerusalem artichoke. Side veg not just nicely crunchy but totally uncooked. Greasy fried potatoes. Not great and a big disappointment after the lovely cauliflower buffalo thingies and charred tofu. Loud and rubbishy pop music.

We was warmly welcomed and even though we were early are table was ready. All the waiting staff were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. We had the 10 course sample menu. The food was exceptional and very good value. I’m a flexitarian and my partner is vegan and we both thoroughly enjoyed the meal and experience. I would visit Manchester again just to go to this restaurant. I would highly recommend it.

Despite a few quirks with service (slow spacing between courses...) this was probably one of the best meals I had in a long time! Every course from starter to dessert and even sides, was creative, well executed, and delicious. I was visiting from London, and wish I could go back again!

First time visited. From the time we stepped into the restaurant until we were leaving the service was excellent - waiters, waitresses, chef, manager. The chef was so friendly and approachable and he even gave us his recipe for one of the meals we had. I would strongly recommend to visit this restaurant and look forward to our next visit.

I was looking for a good vegan place to take my Aunt, usually we end up having a curry as they can cater for us, but this was a very welcome change. Beautifully seasoned and tasty food, (I had the Aubergine 'steak' and chips) fab balance of flavours and interest. I left feeling full and satisfied. This place will cater for anyone who enjoys good food, you don't have to be vegan to enjoy it!

Very affordable mid week menu. Three courses for £20. The soup was very tasty and served with maize fritters and a chestnut dip. It was a real highlight for me. The main was a bit too carbs based, but I also ordered a side of tofu which came with sliced almonds and a mint sauce - very nice. We also had a substantial dessert on the menu, a nutty, chocolatey concoction with coconut ice cream. Great meal and very filling. Wine was good too and the waiters were charming and attentive. Highly recommended.

I ordered the 3 courses for £20. All courses were absolutely delicious. Presented really well on rustic style crockery. There was a nice ambience and the dining area was really nice and quite intimate without being to small. I would 100% return next time we visit Manchester. Staff were very attentive and friendly too. I honestly couldn’t fault it at all

Lovely restaurant and food, just way over priced for what it is, with no meat or dairy bumping up the price, just beans which are very cheap and vegetables. For three of us, none of us had starters or alcoholic drinks, we had a main and side each (the mains are very small so they definitely need a side dish, which really should be included as they are at other restaurants), and we all shared the smallest desert I've ever seen and it was £90, £100 with a tip. Despite the extortionate price, I would go back, as it was a nice restaurant, I just hope they include the sides with the main dish next time, as this would have taken off about £20 to the bill and would have been a lot more affordable and realistic. Thank you for flying the flag of veganism, please make it accessible to everyone by adjusting your price as you are out pricing a large population.

Imaginative food beautifully presented. Chargrilled watermelon was a sensational starter! Knowledgeable friendly waitresses explained every dish and were unobtrusive but helpful.
Go for a Pink Lady and the cauliflower hot wings... delicious. Even an unreconstructed carnivore enjoyed the food.
We will definitely return!

Delicious food, with very generous portions - we had the £10 set menu lunch of soup and a side, and could barely finish it! The service was welcoming and friendly, the food was delicious, and we will definitely be returning next time we visit Manchester. We especially enjoyed the butternut squash soup and the cauliflower 'bbq wings'.

The taster menu was an original and inspiring collection of delicious vegan food. It is fantastic to see modern chefs getting creative with plant based foods. The taster menus are a bit over my usual budget, but as a special treat I would recommend them. There are also cheaper single meal options available!
