The food was really nice but the service was poor. We had a long wait for staff to take our tea order, then they brought out the wrong afternoon tea, when we were offered another pot of tea they just poured more hot water over the original tea bag (they didn't use a new tea bag so the tea was undrinkable) and when we were offered a box to take the cakes home we couldn't eat, which we agreed to, they then forgot to bring the boxes out. We paid for our afternoon tea but not the 12.5% service charge as we were not happy with the service provided to which the staff member said we had underpaid and got stroppy.
