   Good food but not alot of choice. Soup good but 1 slice of bread with 2 pieces of butter that would need more bread! Lovely staff and reasonable time between courses. Would like a different menu next time. Plus more dessert options.

   Stunning setting. Great parking options, simple to find. Staff are all friendly and attentive. The food is incredible. Fresh, tasty and the quality is top class.

   Booked a table for two sitting outside looking over the river. Service was very quick, food was great and overall it was a really nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Would highly recommend.

   A lovely evening at the Anchor. Great setting by the river for an initial drink and then an excellent meal. Great food, good wine (very nice muscadet) and friendly service. An excellent place for a relaxing and enjoyable meal.

   Welcomed on arrival. Once seated we were on a conveyor belt at speed. No water offered for table. Table was not laid - it was do it yourself. Waitress was keen to move us on to the next stage in her script. Not relaxing in any way. Food arrived incredibly quickly. Waiting staff were all young and I would suggest quite inexperienced. Our table was plagued by flies throughout our meal. Little atmosphere and no attempt at a relationship between staff and customer. Service is so much more than just putting plates of food on the table. We didn’t stay for dessert and coffee.

    Staff were all very attentive for the whole meal. My fathers 93rd birthday and we asked for a down stairs table of 12 which was accommodated perfectly in a private room overlooking the river. I had to change the time and also ask a question re the grandchildren and these were all sorted via phone and email. In summary we all had a great experience with good food and service overlooking the river.
