Excellent experience! Logan was an outstanding waiter which made experience even more enjoyable. We had the Tuna and Scallops which was delicious! For dessert, we had the lemon cake which was a great ending to a wonderful meal. This restaurant is very expensive and you can expect to pay a real premium for entrees and wine by the glass. Great place for special occasions !

Had a ladies' birthday luncheon here and it was fabulous. Waiters were super attentive and the food was delicious. Scallops were the special and they were sweet and tender. I recommend the watermelon margaritas if you want to have a really fun time.

We were meeting for a birthday lunch and were seated in the main dining area. The food was superb. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed what they ordered. The service was also well done, friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. Prices were a bit on the high side, but the quality and enjoyment were undeniable. The main concern and noted by all at our table was the very high and energetic noise level. We all experienced some strain to hear our companions in conversation, and looked around at other tables when the noise level would peak.

It was our 5th anniversary. I would highly recommend this place for any kind of celebration and you would love it. The ambience is so pretty. The hospitality is outstanding. Food is delicious. Overall we love this place and we will definitely visit this cafe again.

When originally seated every table was set up with all dining essentials except mine. No wine glasses, no napkins, no utensils. Waitress took my drink order (scotch neat). Came back, maybe 10 minutes later to tell me my brand of scotch was unavailable. I decided on another…anther 10 minutes to get the drink. This was early evening (6ish) with very few filled tables at the time. Waitress continued to disappear time and time again. Finally, a new waiter came by my table to let me know that they had made a switch. From that point on…service was good. Except that my date’s steak was cooked too well and had to be sent back to kitchen…and new steak was brought out fairly soon. Thanks to the 2nd waiter. The 1st waitress was either “out to lunch” or just needs to find a new job. Didn’t expect to have this type of experience at a place I frequent about 2 times per month. Hope you all can get this fixed…because I normally have great experiences here..whether for work lunches or dinner date nights.

We enjoyed our lunch. A bit pricey but we knew that ahead of time. My son didn’t care to his meal and they immediately made him something else. We were celebrating a graduation and they were very accommodating and made sure we got good pictures from the balcony. Everyone was very nice!

The only factor of the restaurant I don’t like is that all sides are alacarte. No entrees come with sides and you must pay for them separately. If I go to Grotto or Carabbas or Federal Grill, they don’t charge for them

Good restaurant with a very varied menu, excellent quality food. The service was fantastic our waiter was really great. Would recommend for a business dinner or for a fun night out. The front room with the bar is a little more lively if you like that, we were in the back room which was a little more quiet. There’s also the outdoor porch.

Annie Cafe, in its various permutations, has been a Houston mainstay for decades. It remains at the top of its game. The restaurant has a warm and inviting feel to it. The bar area is particularly comfortable with banquet seating along one wall. The food remains fantastic with a few old friends like Annie’s tortilla soup on the menu. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive. I almost hate to write a good review for fear of more people rediscovering this Houston gem.

Beautiful atmosphere and pleasant experience. We had a stunning view from our table. Our server was exceptional and friendly. The manager checked on us a few times to make sure everything was perfect. Their appetizers and entrees are all fantastic.
