                                                            Great starters, a real treat. Main courses were equally good and just enough to leave you wanting more. Wide selection of wine albeit the house red complimented the meal well. Dessert was the weak point! Front of house had enthusiasm and courtesy.

                                                            Very friendly staff giving a great service. The food was absolutely delicious, well executed and presented well, in particular the Scotch egg with Haggis , red cabbage and garlic puree as a starter was amazing!

No shortage of servers on the tables and good attention to when drinks needed topped up etc My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed our starter (Haggis scotch egg and heritage tomato salad). The mains were most appetising too (lamb shoulder and a vegetarian linguine). All at a reasonable price

                                                            That is the second time my friend and I have been there on a Wednesday night for their Steak Night. Delicious and very reasonably priced - £45 for a 16oz sharing steak, 2 portions of chips, 2 peppercorn sauce and one macaroni cheese. Also a bottle of house wine . It was busy when we were in but we didn't have to wait long to be served or to receive our order.

                                                            We booked a table for four and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. It was our second visit and this time it was exceptional. The service was excellent and the food was exceptional. We will definitely return.

                                                            Picked this restaurant after reading the reviews online and we were not disappointed. The entrance takes you up a flight of stairs and into a bright, quite spacious area where tables are well spaced. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, we had the duck and the fish followed by the sticky toffee pudding and lemon posset and everything was beautifully cooked and presented. We would certainly return when we are back in the Dumfries area.

                                                            Excellent food, really friendly and welcoming service. Great atmosphere full of positivity and buzz. Great selection of starters, main courses and desserts. The only problem was that there was so many dishes we wanted to try. Very nice selection of cocktails, and wines. Good to see some 0% beers on the menu, as one of us was the designated driver. We will definitely be going back.
