It was very quiet in the pub, but that's not surprising as we went on a Wednesday evening. The young chap serving behind the bar was also waiting the table(s) but that wasn't a problem as the pub was so quiet. He was very polite & welcoming. The food was very good - I had the pie of the day which was delicious & there was Thatchers Gold cider on tap which is my favourite cider. We had a very pleasant evening.

Fantastic fog-friendly traditional pub serving locally-sourced food. Excellent service, lovely ambiance, clean, welcoming and a cosy decor.

What a shame. Arrived on time. Shown our table by pointing. Told they would be with us shortly. Years later they took our order, which took forever to come. What happened to the complimentary starter? Just blank! Asked if we wanted dessert? "YES". Didn't see anyone ever again. Sent my daughter up to get the bill! Such a shame.

Such friendly and attentive staff. A small but tasty menu with good options. A very small table with hard chairs but would definitely go again. Really lovely atmosphere and perfect for a catch up with a friend.

Always like going to the Baker's Arms although haven't been for quite a while. As ever, an excellent meal and good wines.
