   This was my second visit to The Bank. Friends from Berkshire came to visit and we took them here. They loved it and so did we. I highly recommend a visit. Great evening, fantastic staff, polite and efficient. Lovely food. Plenty to choose off of the menu. Good value for money. We will defiantly go back.

   A busy Saturday night and we weren't surprised at all. The Bank is popular for good reason. Great food choices, friendly staff and a lovely setting. We were informed as to when our table would be ready and were served drinks while waiting. The food choices are great and if it's your first time, you'll need to be prepared to write your own order on the pre-printed sheet. The food came out in very good time and together, despite us ordering quite a few dishes. Taste and flavours were lovely. Staff were attentive without being fussy. Highly recommend.

   Had a delicious dinner in one of the private dining pods. Service was excellent, all the staff very helpful and friendly. Nice variety of food, each dish piping hot and decent quantities. Good value for money.

   It was our first time dining at The Bank so didn’t know what to expect. We booked a table ‘outdoors’ but were pleasantly surprised to have our own hut, complete with a stunning view and heater or fan if needed. It was really nice to be away from the busy atmosphere of the main restaurant. The service was fantastic, all staff were friendly and helpful. The cocktails were really good and the food was excellent with very generous portions. Would definitely come back!

   Great location and quirky atmosphere and dog friendly, unfortunately most of the food didn’t live up to expectations or previous reviews. Decent house wine and the pork belly tapas was excellent, however everything else fell short. The paella was poor stodgy and lacked flavour and ingredients 2 mussels and prawns each and little else, definitely not worth the money, the potatoes bravas was described as spicy but wasn’t at all (was a generous portion) We fed back these comments to 2 different waitresses who didn’t seem to register our dissatisfaction. It’s a shame as it has a lot of good points but the food and service was lacking on the night of our visit and it’s not a cheap place to eat.

Our homemade Bravas is considered spicy to the majority of our diners however, we can customise the spice level upon request so if we are favoured to see you again please do feel free to ask for a hotter kick! We are sincerely sorry your feedback wasn't taken on board by your server and thank you for bringing this to our attention as we pride ourselves on excellent customer service. We will be reminding the entire team of clear communication and alerting chefs/managers if any dishes need to be remade.    Lovely dining experience as always. Service perfect - not intrusive but attentive. The starters (Mancgego cheese/fig jam and breads with aoli) were delicious The beef stew and chicken dish were also excellent Chickpea stew was lovely but very large Paprika patatas were a new try for us and were excellent The disappointment was the duck dish (the most expensive) - very dry, overcooked, no sign of the orange sauce but the green beans were good Very accommodating with everyone's dogs which is a big pull to come back again and again.

   Restaurant catered really well for allergens, being a coeliac this was helpful as I need gluten free. We had pre ordered paella without certain elements due to food intolerances and the restaurant couldn’t be more accommodating. The staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome.
