The Beam Yard at Steel Club
Great meal! Our waitress was excellent!
Had a wonderful time there for lunch! The Steel Club is beautiful and it feels almost like you are on vacation when you are there. Our server was courteous, friendly, and helpful. The food choices on the menu are numerous and every choice I have made from the menu was delicious. The prices are compatible to any upscale restaurant and I would recommend The Beam Yard to anyone!
The Beam Yard at Steel Club was great. We had a group of 5 and we had no problem getting a table right away on a Wednesday evening. The service was fast, and the food was tremendous. They had a great selection of wine and beer and their menu was not overwhelming, but had some great options. I personally had the grass fed burger, and it was fantastic. Highly recommend this place!
Great atmosphere and tremendous food...highly recommend.
Dinner was very good. Our server was attentive and personable. Service was a little slower than usual, possibly due to a wedding upstairs, but we were not in a hurry.
Everything was great! Our waitress Robin was very attentive too!
Nice place to have dinner with friends. Nice menu choices. Food was good
Was hoping for a nice day to enjoy the view of the golf course but it was raining. Would have liked option to sit in dining area with fireplace, but seemed like they wanted everyone in the bar area. Huge bar. I would go back again.
Beautiful flower beds filled with the last of summer’s blooms, bright fall mum’s, gourds & pumpkins greet you as you climb the steps to the entrance. The interior is warmed by dark wood & leather, along with a working fireplace, while the wall of windows brings the outdoors in. The booths are cozy and conducive to conversation. Robin, our server, was attentive and efficient.
We really enjoyed the Mediterranean Mezze app and my sweet potato soup was a cup of fall flavor. Our dinner salads (1 crab and 1 sesame tuna) were a great mix of colorful garden ingredients that left us too full for dessert. The only criticism I have is that a portion of my tuna had a fishy flavor which leads me to believe it wasn’t totally fresh. That’s a definite no-no for any seafood dish.
The icing on the cake was the great live music provided by the talented Greg Tocci Duo!
Everyone was very kind. Most of the food was great but it took an hour to arrive. Hoping it was just a one time thing because we want to go back.
Ate outside on the patio with a group of friends. The day was a 10, beautifu weather andl flowers, fun music and delicious food.
I think the selection is very good. They have a great blue cheese dressing for salads. Beef and pork are over cooked. I like rare beef a medium pork. What i get is dry, well done no matter what the server and I agree on.
Always an awesome experience at The Steel Club, staff is always on top of your needs. My wife has diet restrictions and they are very accommodating. Food is by far one of the Best Values in the Valley!
What a beautiful patio! First time of many to come I’m sure! Worth the drive definitely sit outside at dusk.
Good times and a awesome waiter!!
We came here for the first time for my birthday and it was a great experience! I had heard the burgers were very good and I was not disappointed. Everyone else in my group loved their food as well. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful. We can’t wait to come back!
The reservation process was fine but the service was THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE I've ever had in my life. She meandered over to greet us. After she took our beverage order & none of us ordered drinks from the bar it got worse. (I was there with my girlfriend & we are both sober) and my parents out of respect for our recovery declined drinks. I was the one who made the reservation & drove the family and hour out to meet with my girlfriend. She said, are we ready to order here? Then interrupted me as I started ordering. The service was slow. She brought over a carafe of ice water without asking as if having to check on us was beyond what she was willing to do for us. We sat about 45 min after we had finished before she brought the bill over.
She really missed out on an excellent tip from me, I was in the service industry for most of my adult life before I became a licensed banker and I tend to tip about 30% on acceptable service. If the service is good I've gone as far as 50% so dont judge people because they didnt order an alcoholic drink. My old coworker Jeffrey Wagaman is the executive chef there & I wanted to see what he's been up to. She didn't engage in conversation once. I will not be going back
Excellent service! Ryan took great care of our crazy table (2 adults + a toddler and a baby is probably not anyone's first pick!) and made the evening flow nicely. Several other servers stopped by to say hi and chat with our kids. My pomegranate martini was great and hubs had a beer he really enjoyed. Kids meals are EXTREMELY well priced and with plenty of options. I enjoyed my chili; chicken avocado BLT was good but not amazing - great herb mayo but the chicken was a bit rubbery. Hubby had the french onion soup (decent) and the steak frites (very good). Desserts are house made and delicious - enjoyed the peanut butter chocolate bread pudding. We will be back!
It was beautiful and the food super. Really enjoyed our evening.
First, what a beautiful view! Sitting on the patio was so delightful and pleasant with the ambiance of the lightly played music, the view of the golf course, the mountains and, of course, the playful deer running around the golfers.
The presentation of our food was not only pleasant to the eye, but was, oh so delicious! The frozen mango margarita was exactly what the evening called for, yum!
Our server, Ryan, was a delight! So professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. Ryan made a dinner with 2 old friends even more memorable.
It was a great night!
Had a wonderful night and dinner. Definitely will return
Great atmosphere. Weather was perfect and wait staff amazing. Food was tasty as ever.
Love the ambience of The Beam Yard and what a beautiful view from the windows. Daphne, our waitress, was awesome....very friendly and charming. Our food was delivered in a timely manner, appreciated that we had time to enjoy our salads before the entrees came out. Would love if The Beam Yard indicated their gluten-free options on the menu and perhaps had more gluten-free choices.
Wish I could give them a real review. We made a reservation for 3 p.m. today but the kitchen closed at 3 p.m. to re-open at 4 p.m. as they were doing a cookout buffet for Labor Day. So when we showed up at 3 p.m. we were told to bad, sucks to be you go somewhere where else. We couldn't be bothered to go back.
Nice outdoor dining overlooking golf course with deer playing on the fairways. Great spot for a casual date night meal.
Food was delicious
Shanna the waitress was fantastic! Very friendly, very knowledgeable. Answered our every needs. Food was excellent. With the great service, food, and ambiance it was a very enjoyable evening, and we will be returning. Thank you for a great evening.
When our food arrived we could not see our food due to no lighting so had to eat in darkness.
We always have a great dinner and a good time at the Beam Yard!
We will be back! There was a first anniversary party the night we were there. Obviously a fun crowd and such a beautiful setting.
My friends and had a lovely time. It is a good place to catch up.
Love the décor of the Beam Yard and the views from the windows! Comfortable booths. Great looking menu; food is good, not great, but good. Wish my margarita had come in an actual margarita glass instead of the same kind of glass they serve water. Guess that is nit-picky. Also, we waited a REALLY long time for our appetizers/salad to arrive, which is fine...we were not in a rush...but then we barely had time to finish them when our entrees arrived. Timing seemed off.
We visited the Beam Yard on a busy evening. The hostess was very friendly and attentive. Our server was pleasant and professional but the food service was slow. The quality of the food was sub par, particularly for the price and the location. The room was also extremely noisy, making it difficult to converse with others at the table. One of us found our food to be too unpalatable to finish.
We enjoyed a large ribeye steak with fingering potatoes and carrots. The meal was delicious. Try the brownie sundae. I liked the scenery.
Love the Beam Yard and usually service is good. Don’t know if our waitress had too many tables or what but service was very slow. She didn’t check in to see how our food was and was not very attentive. At the end of our entrees she wanted to bring the check before asking if we wanted coffee or dessert. This will not stop us from eating at the Beam Yard as this was our first experience with bad service. Hopefully it won’t happen again.
sat outside to eat and once a very very loud older gentleman and his grandchildren left, the atmosphere was perfect.
food great. Outdoor rib station very neat
table service was terrible, shouldn't have a 18% automatic tip
I have already recommended it to friends - I really enjoyed everything about our lunch. First of all, the landscaping & terrace were stunning, including the view. Service was excellent, and we all enjoyed our food. I'll be back!
Had a great time dining outside. Waiter was excellent. Jacob took very good care of us.
Food was great.will be back.
Our waitress was rude and could have cared less about us. The young server was fine.
Great patio atmosphere. Waitress training another but still very attentive. Only had crab dip and salad but still good.
A few things.. food took too long..may have been a factor that a fundraiser was going on.. we never got the bread we were supposed to get, it took almost an hour to get our food.
