The room and view were lovely. The food was to die for and the service was quick and excellent. Would definitely recommend and was a great place to spend our 10 year anniversary! Thank you
A fabulous welcome and walking through to the restaurant we were all struck by the lovely views over the countryside. The food, Salmon, beef burger and pork we all freshly prepared, well presented and most importantly all extremely tasty! The same with the deserts, top presentation and full of flavour. The staff were all very friendly and service was spot on.
We had our coffees out on the sunny terrace to make the most of those views. Never heard of the village let alone our restaurant, so glad we found it. We all had a very enjoyable lunchtime at The Beeches.
The lady that served us was a little abrupt & didn't appear to be all that friendly. She also passed food across the table over people when there was room to be able to serve this direct to the person. I was also handed a really hot plate, which she only informed me was hot once I'd been given it & it was too late then. Her response was 'I'm used to it now!' Then they overcharged us by around £50 which we had to sort too. I was a little disappointed as we haven't experienced issues like this before.
Lovely setting and lovely food. Service was wonderful. Noise level quite high on a Friday night and if we had known about a back room, we would have requested it.
Always a good meal with friendly attentive staff. The restaurant has a lovely view with great outside sitting if it's warm enough! The bar is with a visit just for a drink and has some great seating including booths and settees and bar seats. Call in, you won't be disappointed
The dining room was so noisy/loud that it was a challenge to follow the conversation we and our guest were trying to have. It was a Friday evening, so not surprising that it was busy, but we wish we'd been asked whether we preferred a quieter outdoor location (it was a lovely evening and we would have happily dined al fresco). We weren't given that option. This said, we did see folks at picnic tables outdoors having drinks, but initially weren't aware that meals were served there as well. The food was good and the price/value ratio equally so. It's in a nice quiet village not far from NEC but in some ways a world away. If it hadn't been so loud we'd have given it a better rating.
We had a lovely evening, many thanks for accommodating us after a mix up with dates which was our fault
Lovely food, friendly staff
Very load, very busy, service a bit slow, seating was tight in area we sat due to proximity of other customers
Food was excellent however disappointed that a lime and soda was £1.20 which seems excessive for a soft drink.
Really lovely atmosphere and very friendly. There was a minor issue with our food order, but it was sorted very easily.
Great service and a friendly welcome from the bar through to the restaurant . Our meals were delicious . Lovely views and the perfect place for a nice meal and a drink .
We visited today for Sunday Lunch as it was my mother in laws birthday celebration. We were seated in a quiet area as requested, although the restaurant wasn’t busy so we could have been in a better position.
The drinks order was taken and then the meals. The food was very good and tasty.
The service improved after the main course.
I went to pay the bill and one third was drinks even though we only had 2 gin and tonics and 1 lager. We were charged for an extra gin which I queried and was removed from the bill, but the tonic was £3 which seems steep and there was an ‘open drink’ charge of £2.50 which I still do not know what for.
The £26 drinks bill put a slight damper on the afternoon as it was unacceptably high. This would make us think twice about returning which is sad when the food was so good.
Great food let down by slow and inattentive staff and the wine wasn’t great for the money either
Delicious food perfect roast for Father’s Day. Menu good , variety of choices
Not a great experience and the staff were very rude. Won’t be returning in a hurry
This was my first visit to The Beeches. I had been recommended by a friend and was delighted with the food and service. It was a lovely afternoon and my friends and I rounded off our get-together sitting in the gardens enjoying the lovely Warwickshire countryside. A very enjoyable experience.
The food was lovely and the wine reasonably priced. We arrived 45 mins early which meant service on arrival was good.
We guessed that the restaurant was (perhaps unexpectedly) short staffed. The delay in taking orders for dessert and coffee was spectacular. It looked two very new members of the team were running around doing their best but the wheels were well and truly off by the end of our meal. Shame because we have been there several times and this is the first disappointing evening.
Amazing food and excellent service, would definitely come again and recommend to others
The waiter went out of his way to accommodate a food intolerance in our party
Not as good as when we have been previously - the menu felt quite limited and the bar area was really rowdy, with very small children there still at 10pm which felt quite inappropriate. This is somewhere we have previously come for a special meal and haven’t minded paying higher prices because the menu was varied with excellent quality food. It just doesn’t feel worth the high prices anymore and it’s a shame because the setting is really lovely.
Really lovely meal , nice staff, no criticisms at all
Cannot fault the food and service but the seating area and entrance need sweeping and tidying up. As you walk into the entrance porch the door to staff only, wide open and looks at mess. The outside area to the garden needs a good clean with cigarette ends everywhere and in need of a paint. It is the attention to detail that will help improve the overall experience
One of the best meals we have ever had. A must try restaurant.
Lovely place, staff friendly , food/menu knowledge of staff bit patchy
Amazing setting, excellent service & catered for a number of dietary requirements.
Despite problems with staff shortage and stubborn ovens, the team turned to and gave us a lovely meal and atmosphere, apologising and explaining the delays in service. This was our second visit and the food was excellent again. We will certainly go again and wholeheartedly recommend it to others.
The food and service was of a high standard. The place was not as romantic as I hoped
Pleasantly surprised, drove past and never realised it was there. Busy busy Sunday lunchtime. Really quick from order to food on the table. Ordered two roast beef which was well presented and hot. Never enough vegatbles served and always seen as dressing on the plate rather than a substantive part of the meal. Price for two with drinks was £74 which was ok
Four of us all enjoyed our well presented and very tasty Sunday roast accompanied by a good range of vegetables. Desserts were delicious! Service was exceptionally speedy an friendly. We'd like to come to The Beeches again, it's worth the drive!
Back to its best! After a slightly below par meal last time we went we’ve not been back for a while - but can safely say it’s back to its best now. Food was excellent, service great and ambiance great. Will be back soon!
Excellent food and very friendly service. Will visit again
An Imaginative menu, very well executed. The service was very good and the staff had clearly sampled the menu.
Fantastic night! excellent service, fabulous food! Head waiter was very smart & gave excellent table service the staff & waitresses were smartly dressed and very pleasant and also gave excellent table service.
First-class food, first-class ingredients, great service! I recommend to all!
Quite quiet on this midweek lunchtime but this was fine for a business lunch. Food and service were both very good.
Fab service and my lamb shank was really delicious. I was surprised that there was no chocolate option on the dessert menu but the cheesecake we had was really good.
Lovely food. Lovely service. Good prices. Can't ask for more.
Great atmosphere, lovely staff and great food. Certainly be back
A very nice meal for my girlfriends birthday. The soup of the day was sweet corn which was a nice change. The beef wellington was amazing.
Likely to return one day
Sunday evening dinner was very enjoyable with a good menu a varied menu on offer.
Three courses for £25 per person was excellent value.
Good atmosphere with attentive staff who were happy to assist.
Look forward to enjoying a la carte menu
