The Belgian Arms
We offer really tasty British food that’s beautifully cooked, a great selection of wines and a really good pint.
The atmosphere is warm, relaxed and friendly. The Belgian Arms is the ideal spot for meeting up with family and friends, an informal business lunch or dinner and simply having fun.

I liked the Belgian Arms although I felt the vegetarian roast could have been better and perhaps two choices as there are for meat eaters. Crispier roast potatoes please and £11 for a glass of Albariño was excessive! I would go again in the future.
Fish overcooked and vegetables undercooked.
Service good but slow
Not nearly as good as previously
Lovely pub in a beautiful location. They had kindly put us inside as it was cold but due to covid we chose to sit outside. The seating was well set out and there were heaters but they weren’t very powerful. We totally appreciate it was our choice to sit outside.
Really great food lovely staff will definitely return !
Superb food and good service. Would highly recommend for indoor or
Disappointed in the service after good previous experiences this has gone downhill
Excellent location, great service, Covid secure location, great menu. Good choice if drinks and draft beers. Wine list was acceptable if not on the better side of acceptable. Will be sure to eat there again
Had a lovely time. Waiter cheerful and welcoming. Thanks.
We sat outside in the garden at a good distance from others, only problem was we where right next to the men's toilet and you could see inside as the window was open.
Bailey our waiter was outstanding. Food was lovely, however very small portion of chips and one tiny scoop of sorbet was a bit of a joke. Other than that an enjoyable evening.
We had excellent steaks but the two fish dishes were slightly disappointing. The service was very good. We have been before and will go again.
Good food great position and good service aplacewellwortgvisting
Date night out with partner. The Belgian Arms has proven to be a friendly pub, with excellent food, (great taste and filling), and a good selection of beers on tap. Staff have always been friendly and welcoming despite the recent changes imposed on the pub trade in the last few months.
We will definitely go again.
The food was amazing, too class!
Definitely be back again.
Pork Belly was gorgeous and the gravy.
Superb simplified menu, excellent as always. Disappointing staff not wearing masks/visas when serving food
Excellent service, friendly staff, awesome food, flexible.
This is our local pub and we always feel very welcome every time . Food lovely as ever and service was amazing . Thankyou everyone
Lovely pub in a pretty setting. Good service and high quality food
Great food, good friendly service, and well organised With social distancing etc
The service and food is always excellent quality at the Belgium Arms. Always highly recommended!
Although the menu was limited, the quality of food was outstanding and well worth the money. Even better was the discount from the government!
Sat outside. Great experience, great food and great service.
Consistently good service and food. One of our regular go to’s
Really enjoyed our lunch would return again without doubt.
We are regulars at The Belgian Arms due to living locally. This was our first time back eating for a while. The food is still amazing and excellent value with the Eat Out scheme. The only thing that was disappointing was lack of distancing with other customers but that is more the ignorance of people rather than the pub itself. We were happy with our table and felt safe until a large party arrived and crammed around 2 seats by the fire very close to us. Luckily they moved on and we enjoyed our time. Service was excellent very friendly and attentive staff. The best hand sanitizer I have ever encountered it smells amazing!
Not a large choice, but food was good, lovely ambiance
Really great food and service. I can recommend the fish of the day, one of the nicest fish meals I've ever eaten. We would definately eat here again for special occasions.
We had a wonderful evening at The Belgian Arms; fantastic food, friendly and knowledgable staff, and there were more than adequate measures in place to provide a safe place to eat in these current times. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Overall very happy the food was great and so was the atmosphere would definitely go again
They made a special gluten free soup as am gluten free
A lovely spot for a meal. Very thorough social distancing measures which made us feel very safe. Starter and main were lovely - the only reason not to give 5* across the board was the dessert. We decided to share a crumble but sadly it was full of nuts, which I don’t like and my husband can’t eat. This should have been marked on the menu. But other than that a lovely meal.
Great food and lovely friendly service - excellent
Good food. Good value (helped by the £10 off!). Service good and Social Distancing precautions excellent and very well explained about the tracing app.
The Belgian Arms is set in the small village of Holyport. There’s plenty of parking and as soon as you walk in, you’re greeted with friendly staff. The outside space is under cover and also there are tables for the sun lovers, which look out onto the village green and delightful pond. The food is fabulous and the presentation is amazing. I would absolutely recommend this lovely pub for any occasion.
Service was great & girls were friendly but food (fish n chips) was all batter no fish.
As 50% off was ok , the burrgers were big and tasty according to my friends.
If going on a normal day the food is overpriced.
Restaurant empty although was advised fully booked when I tried to increase the table. Didn’t eat until 15.30 so think maybe the roast would have been better earlier on? Yorkshires dried out along with the cauliflower cheese and roast potatoes soft not crispy. Such a shame as had heard good reports and we are forever trying to find the perfect roast. The chicken liver parfait starter was delicious but £3 for a small slice of garlic bread in kids menu was a bit steep. You live and learn x
As always - brilliant food & drinks, service and ambience. One of my favourite places locally!
Great food, excellent service, and pretty good value too!
I would thoroughly recommend The Belgian Arms pub. The atmosphere, venue, location, food and service were amazing, and the COVID-19 measures were on top form too. Very polite and friendly staff, delicious food.... the halloumi fries and fried beef nuggets were so good. Also the burger is amazing would rate 10/10. Can’t wait to come back and sit in the garden too! Thank you!
Excellent food and service. I would definitely recommend the Belgian Arms.
