Living relatively locally, we've been wanting to go to the Bell for a while - finally managed it & not disappointed. A superb Sunday roast - one of the best we've ever had - very impressed. Great food - attentive staff - priced very sensibly. Will definitely be back.

Was recommended here for a 60th birthday celebration - what can I say food was delicious and plenty of it. Service was 5star. Everyone in our party of 6 was very impressed. Will definitely be going back. Very good value for money

Went with family of 7 for husband ands 70th birthday - Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals (only had mains as too full for sweets!). The pie was huge and the triple cooked chips are to die for! Well done Team Bell!!

This is a great pub for food, the staff are always pleasant and you always see the same faces. The wine list is a bit boring, but typical for an Arkells pub.

Fantastic food and amazing service. Would highly recommend! We had starters and mains. Which meant there was no room for dessert! The desserts looked amazing - our top tip would be save yourselves room for the homemade desserts!

Excellent food cooked to perfection, the best quality food for miles around, can not fault at all. Long may this continue for a revisit. Please don't take the noise score into consideration, it was just on this particular visit there was a large family birthday party next to our table.

My friends along with my brother & sister in law recommended the bell. Went to the bell on Saturday night with my brother & sister in law so as to try it out. The meal was excellent along with the friendly staff. Made to feel very welcome. The food is a little more expensive, average price from £20 - £30. As the old saying goes, well you get what you pay for, and that definitely applies with the bell. Looking forward to next visit. Happy customer

The salmon Wellington was delicious but the chips were too nice and I nearly didn’t leave enough room for the rest! Very attentive staff. Nice dining room but next time I will try to book in the main bar as it’s cosier.

As always, A lovely meal and service was great. The sausage and mash as a light bite was perfect and the steak pie looked amazing! Wiltshire Gold on tap was a really good pint too! Staff always friendly and efficient.

Second time visiting The Bell and the food was again excellent, the staff very friendly and an amazing overall experience. Not the cheapest place to eat but the quality of food is worth the little extra price and I will definitely be returning again for a third, forth and fifth time.

Absolutely love the food at this place! Lovely atmosphere (little loud from one attending party but asked to be moved as I am autistic and struggle with certain noises especially if too close to me and wasn't a problem at all, staff extremely accommodating) Little pricey but totally worth it! Love the decor (eagle is stunning!) Only thing that I would say put it down (a little!) was one member of staff was dressed in blue jeans and casual trainers, all the others looked smart in back shirts and black trousers or even black jeans and casual trainers, but being all in black they all matched and looked very smart, I just felt he brought it down a little. Wouldn't stop me going back! But I notice the little details.
