Party of 5 and we were all very impressed with the quality of the food. WIll certainly be coming back.
Really good food and service. Enjoyed the meeting selection and general feeling of pub. A great meal.
Good selection of dishes. Plenty of vegetarian meze options. Friendly and efficient service.
Friendly staff professional service fantastic food... Make sure you leave room for delicious dessert! Sunday roast was just perfect 👍
Service very good and food was very tasty and hot on arrival.
Very nice guys there and extremely helpful and done out lovely and toilets spotless..
Are outside and was very pleasant with heaters available ..
We'll done guys with be back soon definitely 😜
Lovely food, very good money worth.
We turned up at our appointed time (4 p.m.), only to be told that they'd run out of roast dinners and we would have to wait for half an hour before they could provide food from an alternative menu. Fortunately, we weren't in a hurry.
The food arrived reasonably quickly, and wasn't bad, but the noise levels were too high and we were tucked into a corner alongside the main gangway which had too many kids running up and down it. Service was reasonable overall.
We probably won't be visiting again.
The staff were very welcoming and pleasant.
The food was plentiful and delicious. Particularly the Vegetarian Roast.
We were the only people lunching as it happens. The service was excellent and the food very good indeed, with lots of variety. If anything, the portions were a bit too generous! We will certainly be going there again.
Great roast lunch and friendly, fast service. Thank you.
Very nice food, good variety on menu, the platters seemed particularly good value. Staff friendly and attentive. Would recommend.
Excellent food with a good variety. The veggie burger slider was as good as the pulled pork one in the royal 5 so don’t shy away from it! Service was a little slow but staff were very apologetic and keen to make customers happy.
Waitress friendly pub very clean food was a massive let down. Roast potatoes black in middle , plates cold , Yorkshire flat, veg cold and crackling was deep fried swimming in grease. Never again .
Really wonderful service, gorgeous food and a lovely venue with plenty of outdoor seating too! Can’t wait to come again!
Used to be my local but haven’t been there for some time. Much changed - not all for the better - but the staff were pleasant and the food was acceptable. Very few in dining - I am sure the ambiance would be better if more people in the restaurant.
Great food and big portions. Good efficient service.
Would suggest a bigger plate, portions were substantial, just need more room for the vegetables!
Sunday only menu available, no main menu.
Run out of Cheesecake at 2pm so had to skip desert.
Wine was not chilled at all, but was told it had come straight from the fridge.
Fresh, tasty, appealing to look at and authentic Mediterranean food. Excellent for gluten free.
The chef is Terrible,
Over cooks meat, undercooked vegs
When I say the chicken was laughable,
I’ll also say the burgers tasted of perfume and were over cooked, the pulled pork was literally ALL fat!!
SUNDAY ROAST was absolutely disgusting.... cardboard yorkies, tough fatty meat, over cooked potatoes and under cooked greens and carrots, genuinely the worst place I’ve eaten in years and years.
The min we complained about the chefs horrific attempt to cook, we were swiftly told they had ran out of ALL desserts....
Steer clear of this place if you like food, full stop!!!
Nice enough venue , staff friendly but a little slow to take our order despite very few customers at 7PM.
Food was ok but certainly not a WOW from me.
Not sure at £50 for a platter & 4 drinks it’s on my list of go to places. Shame.
The food was good again. Great portions.
The cocktails and mocktails absolutely shocking! I brought it up to the staff last time and again this time. The cocktails and mocktails have the same strength!
Alcoholic Mojitos are REALLY bad! Very weak, no brown sugar, not even any mint. I believe it’s just mojito flavouring and soda water. It was really sour. Swapped for a mocktail mojito equally as bad, sour.
The alcoholic strawberry daiquiri also bad, very weak.
However drinks were removed from the bill, last time and this time.
I’d go back for the food, but I have learnt my drinks lesson..
Didnt dine last night. But the food here is very good good indeed
Haven’t been to this pub before, very easy to book, attended to quickly at FOH and staff were helpful and kind towards us and all other customers. Nice surroundings and relaxed environment.
It was ok, but starters seemed to take a while then mains arrived before we had finished starters, which meant food was getting cold.
They took our booking for eating at 3pm, gave us menus, took our food order. Then came and told us the kitchen is closed between 3-5. They hadn’t updated their website or known themselves. They apologised and said we wouldn’t be charged. Then gave us a large bill for 2 drinks. The food looked lovely on the menu but the service was shocking.
Very good food, had a share plate which was delicious and more than enough to share with others. Would recommend.
Door staff wouldn’t let people in wearing track suit bottoms but happy to let people in wearing track suit shorts? also they are walking around preaching the social distancing rules whilst not wearing a face covering!!
Outside area was rammed with 18 year olds who was extremely loud. Felt like I was at a festival!
security trying their best to keep people socially distance but wasn’t always happening.
Service was very slow, had to wait 30 mins for our drink order to reach the table. Asked three different members of staff if we could order our food and after one hour a nice lady came a took the order. The food arrived not long after order and the chicken burger was extremely salty. No chance to complain or send back as not a waiter/waitress free. They where to busy running around with drinks trying to find out who ordered them as they had no idea.
The place is a nice one but let down by the issues raised above and we will not be returning again!
I would however like to point out that there was one person who was extremely approachable and professional member of the staff. I believe her name was Kristal. She came over and checked on our group and when we raised some issues she dealt with them as quickly as she could. I saw her on several occasions helping staff and customers and it was lovely to see!
Disappointing visit due to the way we were spoken too and treated after a lovely meal. To be told we had to urgently leave as the table was booked out after ordering more drinks (which was not an issue to any of us at all as we had been there longer than our allocated time without realising) we lost track of time as you do! But to then basically be accused of refusing to leave after being told numerous times ‘apparently’ which was not the case at all, we paid our bill and was about to be on our way until a member of staff approached our table aggressively asking why after numerous requests we had not left yet. We clearly pointed out that we had not in fact been asked to leave numerous times and that we had just paid our bill and we’re about to be on our way... Now being neighbour of the Bell I could see that the table was then not used along with many others in the garden for the rest of that evening. As paying customers I think this is unacceptable and the situation could have been addressed in a whole other manner ... Unfortunately due to this, as our local it’s now very unlikely we would return! Next time when booking a catch up with friends we will be going to some where more accommodating!
The bell had a good atmosphere and service was great , however the food could be better - I ordered the bell burger and it was quite dry.
Very tasty meat platter. Great service. Lots of tempting items on the menu.
Great food and lovely atmosphere. Staff were attentive and friendly. Would definitely reccomend.
My time at the bell was splendid. I will definitely be back there soon! Even with the cold weather the gazebo and heaters kept us toasty. Service is 10/10 thank you to Eric who served us, you are amazing. & a huge thank you to the lovely waitress, Hannah who never fails to bring us a good night and amazing service. Even got to meet the boss, Ali who is very warming and friendly.
Great service, waitress really polite and patient, would go again.
Place was full of teens!felt like I was in a youth club garden :/
Not enough patio heaters for the food area
Only 2 tables covered with the heaters
Lovely garden and lovely staff
Nice food, friendly staff. What more can you ask for?
Nobody bothered coming over once to take our order - all the staff were just sat around chatting to each other so we left.
They only do roast on a Sunday. No roast meats apart from Turkey. Kept waiting to ord r a drink for 20 mins after being seated. Luckily weather was fine as told not allowed in gazebo as it was for larger parties. There were two of us and I am disabled. Everything was not pleasant.
Poor service. Plates came out at different times. No vegetarian options although this was solved. Vegetables were raw. No one came to check if food was okay or if we wanted any more drinks. Not sure if it's new ownership but we won't be returning.
By the time our Sunday roast had come out the Vegetables were stone cold.
