Great as always
First they didn’t have our reservation (even though we have email to confirm/prove it) but eventually said they could fit us in. Then we were told they didn’t have burgers or steak. We walked straight out. Very disappointed.
Lovely setting, food was good, and the server was excellent......but, it was freezing. I was expecting a roaring fire, but we all we had was a cold hearth.
Not dined here for a while....will definitely be back. Our experience tonight was fantastic.....Kat our waitress was extremely nice, efficient, and friendly! Will definitely be back soon.
Service wasn’t good food came out at different requested times
Haven’t been in there for a long while so thought we’d try again as understood it had different managers but not impressed and probably won’t go back!
Had a lovely lunch. Really nice place.
Good Food, friendly helpful staff
Service was really good. Good was average to poor.... 3 scallops for over £10... poor chips with gammon, steak average, terrible salad and a grainy creme brûlée... Shame. Far better choices locally
Very good, friendly service. Food was excellent. Venue comfortable.
Lovely tasty food as always with great service and fine array of drinks beer on tap especially gin and tonic. Vegan menu a treat!
Myself and three girlfriends met for a catch up at the BelvedereArms. Arriving separately we all received a warm welcome from the young bartender who was on the ball mixing Virgin Mary’s with enthusiasm!
All the staff seemed very young but were all doing their job well, We’ve been many times before and will certainly be back again.
The food for the money is good but the menu doesn’t change and having been twice before, it was boring. We wouldn’t go back again.
All good last sunday but on the desert menu it's was written with blackbery and my friend got raspberries. Maybe they ran out but should be told :D :D :D
Terribly poor service for a Sunday. Used to be a favourite spot of mine, it’s a shame the pub has gone downhill.
Stayed nearby and ventured out for a meal but was not disappointed excellent food and service
Sadly only two of us turned up because the weather stopped the other two from joining us. The meal was good and the lunchtime deal is excellent. I hope they change the menu because I will get bored with having the same thing too often.
We were all very impressed with the set menu. Price was good and the quality excellent. Will certainly go back.
Lovely pub with nice food. Shame it's so close to a main road!
As longtime diners at Belvedere, we are always happy to dine there. We chose it for Father's Day as it is a favourite and we wanted to include our grandchildren. Our table was great and the food delicious.
Unfortunately it would seem they did not allow for the number of diners on Father's Day, as the service (still friendly) was extremely slow. We were there at 6pm and didn't leave until nearly nine as it had taken so long to get our orders. Young children on a school night were not happy campers, nor were their parents. It rather spoiled our evening, and hopefully won't be a problem in the future.
We have not dined at The Bevedere Arms for a while, but it certainly did not disapoint.
We went for Easter Sunday Lunch, it was busy as expected but the staff coped very well.
The food was outstanding, we all have not enjoyed a sunday roast as much for a long time.
I would recommend a visit and we won't be leaving it so long to visit again.
Very good menu choices that were more imaginative than the usual pub fare. Good combination of eating and drinking areas. Attentive and efficient service, with waiters working as a team. Very tasty food and an above average drinks list. And excellent value for money.
Food very good and very reasonably priced. We paid £120 for five people - no one was drinking but this was still very good. Service was a bit of a let down as an additional bottle of water wasn't brought over as requested (I think forgotten) and no one came to offer our bill over coffees, which can be a bit awkward for a business lunch. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful when reminded however.
We have been going fairly often to the Belvedere Arms ever since it opened. The service is always friendly, the food good and usually the service is also very good. Surprisingly for a Tuesday night, the restaurant was full, and our meal was definitely affected as a result. We kept having to make requests - to order drinks and then have them served, and various other things throughout the meal. We even had to find someone so that the bill could be paid.. Our friends had just arrived from the States, and two had an early tee time for a local golf tournament. So we needed to have the usual attentive service. Consequently our dinner ran much longer than it should have. Also, I have a favourite dish, the linguine with prawns, etc. I cannot eat the chili usually used, and specifically requested that it be left out. Unfortunately the dish was served with the chile, and for me was inedible. I didn't want to make a fuss, and therefore we brought it home for my husband for the next day. Certainly disappointing on the night.
Our table for 6 was ready when we arrived, the drinks arrived as we studied the menu, very pleasant evening
Great Pub to visit anyday of the week, especially busy though on Sundays but worth the wait.
