Always a great time at the Bercy. Good food and drinks.
Fantastic surprise. I see why they're rated Top Brunch Spots In Philly. Lobster Omelette, mussels, French toast - everything was spot on.
The Bercy never disappoints. The food is always fresh and inventive. The service is always impeccable. From start to finish it’s a fabulous dining experience. The restaurant manager is superb.
Great food. Good ambience. Good for a special occasion.
Everything about The Bercy was outstanding. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the decor and atmosphere were beautiful. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a fine dining experience.
I’ve been once before, and this time was just as great as the last- if not even better! The food was so delicious and filling and the service was helpful and kind. It is such a cool and fun environment to be in with friends or a significant other. I enjoyed my time greatly!
Overall amazing experience at The Bercy! I go out to eat frequently, and this was the best meal I’ve had in a while.
Our waiter Corey was FANTASTIC, second time we have had him, both times for a birthday celebration, he is the best !!
What a delightful find. Our waiter Corey was delightful, service was outstanding and the food was fabulous
Has there been a change in the kitchen?
The Bercy is my go-to place for escargots. The dish is still good but something seems to be missing from the spectacular sauce as previously prepared. Also, the veal and mushroom rigatoni, which is also a favorite, was so salty to be inedible. I never send anything back but did on this occasion. The wait staff was unfailingly accommodating. The bread is wonderful and plentiful.
This meal was just shockingly great. We had no idea what to expect. Great craft cocktails. Escargot perfectly balanced with no overwhelming garlic. Scallop crudo delicate and perfect. Wife had a pasta small plate that was absolute perfection. Hanger steak special excellent as well. Only slight blemish was that the excellent dessert took way way too long to arrive and we had a time problem. I would return here in a heartbeat and if I lived anywhere near Ardmore PA I'd be there once a week. Bravo!!!
Now I’m kicking myself that I have not been to this place that’s been open probably for almost 2 years in my neighborhood. It’s absolutely fantastic! I have some catching up to do. The wonderful hostess provided such a great greeting and kept checking on us throughout the evening. That in and of itself would’ve been fantastic but combined with the delicious food, attentive service and the fantastic ambience it was just amazing! The trout almandine was the best I ever had and the French onion soup delicious. The bread was plentiful and delicious. The house made dessert was amazing. Cannot wait to go back!
We've been to Bercy many times. The food is consistent. Several of us thought the pasta dishes and the onion soup were way to salty. The service was good - although there was only one wait person working the floor. Luckily, it wasn't that crowded.
Excellent in every way! The food and service were great, and we appreciated the attention to special dietary needs.
Love the food, love the decor, service is great. But it’s so, so loud. We are on the younger end of the crowd there, and have a hard time w the noise.
The food was amazing. We had foie gras and cocktails. The mouth watering steak and bourguignon were outstanding. Ended with profiteroles which were also brilliant. Definitely a place to go back to.
The pasta was excellent so said one of our diners. The burgers and fries were okay. Nothing great but also not bad. The mussels were small and not what our friend hoped for. Overall it was a good meal.
Food was mediocre.
Our waiter is an extraordinary Southern gentleman!
Absolutely zero complaints from our first visit to the Bercy! Food and drinks were fabulous and our waitress was great (I think her name was Rosie? She took care of our keto/cheato diet). The oysters were delicious and so was the octopus. My boyfriend considers himself a French onion soup connoisseur and thought the Bercy did a great job on theirs. The old fashioneds were on par! He ordered the duck and I had the scallops. At first the servings looked very small to us but after the first bite we understood. Quality over quantity! Finished up with the chocolate tarte and the profiteroles (omg) and we were extremely satisfied. Looking forward to returning!
We had a warm welcome . The lighting, the music, the decor, in addition to the diversity, created a pleasant atmosphere. The service was great; one of the waiters even spoke a little bit of French. The french fries may have room for improvement, but we did enjoy the food . It was a really nice experience. We'll gladly come back.
The food was amazing and exactly what I wanted. One of the best tasting on the main line. Service was also nice and the dinner flowed seamlessly.
Beautiful place and the food was amazing. Thinking Valentine's Day had their service taxed a bit.
We came here for a late night meal and even though they were about to close the staff was very welcoming and friendly! We didn’t feel rushed in the slightest. Our server Corey was OUTSTANDING- one of the best servers I’ve ever had in a restaurant- he had such a vibrant, warm, wonderful personality. The level of attention he gave us was perfect- he didn’t hover or interrupt our meal but seemed to always be there right when we needed something or had questions. The food is incredible and service was fast. I ordered the chicken and my boyfriend ordered the steak. Both were amazing and cooked perfectly. Our desserts were also so delicious. The dessert portions are large but made it perfect for sharing. Overall such a great experience. Before we were even walking out the door we were already talking about how we can’t wait to come back.
It was nearly impossible to get a drink at the bar. Tried to make eye contact with a bartender for 10 mins and got nowhere. Then the guy who took the drink order disappeared and didn’t hand off to the others. Service at the table was a little better but not much. Took forever to get our food order in. Waiting to ask for the check everyone disappeared. Where does everyone who works on this place go?! It’s nice to not have people interrupting dinner every two seconds but this was a bit rediculous!
Amazing and outstanding waiter!!!
Met another couple at the Darcy for dinner and we were most impressed with the menu and the food. We really enjoyed o evening at this restaurant.
The sea scallops are divine. DIVINE! The simple green salad has a marvelous light dressing. Everything about the meal was memorable. And such a beautiful place.
Really nice evening. Enjoyed the food and ambiance.
Not for brunch! The waffles were good but very small order and the French toast lacked any flavor and were undercooked. The bread was too thick. Dinner might be great but the cocktails were very weak.
Nice atmosphere, server was friendly. The food was good.
The menu was interesting with Escargot, fish tartare, a beef tartare, and a number of inviting dishes.
But the preparation of the food left a lot to be desired.
So we were disappointed and likely will not go back.
The beef bourguignon was not authentic and was very oily (not a red wine sauce). French onion soup was good but other plates were just average. A La Maison was much better...wish it was not closed
Always love The Bercy
Food was very well presented and tasty. Service pleasant
This was not typical i am sure. Our waitress was completely out to lunch. Half of our dinner items arrived 10 minutes before the other half of our parties items (we were a party of 6). In their defense, they did comp us for two of the dinners due to this issue, but it was annoying to have almost two separate dinners at out table. Once we finished dinner and dessert we couldn't find our waitress to pay. She came over about 15 minutes after we were completely finished and finally took the credit card. First time there. Probably the last.
Service was fantastic! Manager was exceptional but the food...... very very disappointing. I know it was a Saturday night but it was so loud I had to yell at the other people at my table. I didn’t feel this was a upscale restaurant at all. Oh well... live and learn.
The food and service were very good. But I have a complaint. I wanted to bring my own bottle of wine. So I called the restaurant before i went and asked about the corkage fee. They told me $15 and I was ok with that. I brought my bottle because even with the $15 corkage fee it is much more cost effective ($65 cost). However, when I got the check they charged me $25. And this is the second time they did this. They try to screw you. They should update their system to charge what they advertise.
Always a wonderful dining experience. From the hostess to the bartender, an excellent dining experience.
It was quiet upstairs for dining without noise of bar.
