Mixture of tagliatelle, penne and meat tortellini pastas with beef bolognese sauce, single cream and mozzarella cheese
Garlic oil served on top of fresh homemade bread
Homemade Tiramisu with nutella chocolate
Lovely pizza. The veggie sharing platter wasn't very tasty.
Great little Italian cafe in Dalston. The food was good and the service quick and efficient which was perfect as we were heading to the theatre. Only negative - we were seated close to the toilet and the door did not shut properly when unoccupied so we spent a lot of our time up and down trying to keep it closed!
Lovely, family run Italian. Big pizzas with lots of toppings are better value than the pasta dishes. Sensibly priced wine list too.
Nice atmosphere, attentive but maybe a bit inexperienced service. Simple food, nothing unexpected for the low price.
Nice local Italian. Lasagne was fresh. Great for a low key dinner. Reasonably priced.
Perfectly nice neighbourhood restaurant, good but not brilliant food. Pizza very good. Staff quietly efficient. Small restaurant but not too cramped.
Really good food and value. Good for a night out with friends.
Found the place at short notice, managed to get a table and enjoyed the meal that we had.
We had antipasti for starters which was really nice and fresh and for our mains my wife and son chose pizza's which were very nice indeed.
I had a lasangne which sadly was not so great..... It was stodgey and not particularly flavoursome.
Didn't spoil the night however..... The staff were really nice too.
Food is not bad, but not that great either. Importantly: Italian food and latin American music: why. You ask to turn down a bit the annoying salsa compilation, and they say "sorry we don't think we can", and we feel they actually raised the volume XD. Also, slooow service.
Delicious food. Great service!
Great pizza, delicious salad, with attentive kind staff and service. Intimate decor, with music playing. Classy. The tiramisu with nutella topping perfect.
Value for the price, outstanding....great prices for London.
We didn't have time to eat much as we were visiting the Arcola theatre. I thought the staff were friendly and helpful and I enjoyed my pasta dish. My friend felt the bruschetta wasn't so good as the bread was hardly toasted.
Good food, cosy decor and good value. Service charge included.
We went as a 9 for my birthday, the service was spot on, the food fab (I think most of us went away with doggie bags) and the wine was very good value. I'm on a tight budget at the moment, so needed to pick with care and the Bite didn't disappoint. No one even noticed it was a value option until the bill came, with us all having starters and drinking wine all night, as well as mains it was about £25 per head, including tip. I'd definitely recommend.
