The Black Grape - a new small plate restaurant located on Edinburgh's Royal Mile. Expect small plates, wine & good times in a stunning setting. This custom designed wine bar & restaurant is the ideal setting for intimate date night dining, drinks with friends or a quick snack as you people watch in the heart of the city. Amazing and welcoming. Couldn’t do enough for us. Let us sit outside under a heater and bagged a table inside for us also. Cocktails tailored to us also. Food and wine was amazing. Thank you soo much xx

The venue is nice but the food was average for how much we paid. 5 out 8 fishes were very nice and the wine was unbelievable. The issue was that the barman cleaned cutlery during our meal which really detracted from the experience. Couple of the dishes were very poor. For the price, probably wouldn’t return. The waitress was lovely and her service was excellent so she really made the meal!

Excellent small plates restaurant. We ordered 9 different dishes and all of them were very good. Have options for V and GF as well. Would recommend.

Creatively put together small plates of very fresh food. The oysters we had were from New Haven, 20 mins away. The wine list had a variety of reasonably priced bottles snd we selected a French Chardonnay . Service was friendly and knowledgeable about the offerings. Nice to eat food that was more than traditional Scottish food in Edinburgh
