This wonderful village pub has grown an exceptional reputation for its food, drink and modern relaxed environment. Since Chef proprietor Harry has moved this pub / restaurant from strength to strength serving only the very best fresh ingredients cooked to a high standard. There is a separate bar and restaurant with a beautiful garden and ample parking for this excellent destination eatery 20 minutes from central Cambridge. The Black Horse is open Wednesday to Sunday, serving amazing evening meals, lunch, breakfasts on Saturday mornings, best Sunday roasts in Cambridgeshire and fresh fish and chip takeaway.

Friendly staff , fantastic food , spotlessly clean , warm and cosy with log fire . Ordered duck and it was very tender and delicious, mash was silky smooth. if had to make a tiny criticism I would have liked more vegetables served with dishes Partner had steak which he said was excellent and best he had for many a year. Desserts were yummy . Will definitely be back
This is a real gem of a place and very much understated. The food is absolutely fantastic with a really good menu at a very competitive price. Lucky to have this place in our village!

The Black Horse was recommended by my parents who live in Willingham. I thought the Sunday roast was very well cooked of a good size an served quickly. The desert was scrummy too :-) The beef and pork were both of a high quality and very tasty.

Village dining pub a limited menu that shows a good chef
Lovely food and felt very safe with the covid measures they have put in place.
Given the restrictions of Covid the pub did a decent job. However the limited choice of menu was not fully available even at 7.0pm, and the second choice dish was warm rather than hot.

Picked 3 courses from the set menu and the food was absolutely fantastic. Also enjoyed some unusual ales at £3.80 a pint, which felt extremely good value. Also everything felt very safe, with all the Covid measures felt well thought out. Thank you for a great evening.

4 of us had sunday lunch there. 1 beef 1 pork, 1 lamb and 1 vege butternut squash dish plus all the trimmings and yorkshire puds. Delicious food. Service was excellent. Will definitely go again.
A great meal out with the family. We were looked after very well by the staff, who were happy to help with the children's requirements.
The Cote de boeuf was excellent; cooked to perfection and just the right size for two people.
We went at lunchtime on a Saturday expecting it to be quite busy, however there was only one other table being used so very quiet. Service was ok but we had to ask for the wine menu and we weren’t offered a dessert menu or coffee. The food itself was good, very tasty.
