The quality of our food is at the heart of The Black Horse, offering modern British cooking with hints of contemporary french cuisine. Our Head Chef, Martin Sheriff, and his team source ingredients and produce from local suppliers, where possible. Not only does this attest to the freshness of the ingredients, but in turn supports local farmers and suppliers, whilst reducing our carbon footprint on the environment.
We actively cater for all dietary requirements, especially gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan. We also stock gluten-free beers and vegan wines.

We as a family decided to go out for a meal so we thought we would go to a local pub.
We had heard it was under new management with a new chef and it was worth checking out!
I have to say I am very pleased we did, the food was excellent and the service was great.
We went for the steak deal where you get a steak with chips, salad and wine. The steak was cooked perfectly and I think the chips were honestly the best chips I have ever tasted.
Was well worth going, I am glad we did and I will be definitely going again!
