he name ‘Blue Apron’,from the French – ‘kitchen etiquette’, and in France a new chef will receive a ‘Blue Apron’, when they begin their training. Sarah and Kenan chose this name, as they believe that no matter how good a restaurant is, there is always room for improvement.
Kenan worked his way across two continents, gaining experience in locations as diverse as the five star Hyatt in Istanbul and the Michelin starred restaurant in Dublin, l’Ecrivain.
The menu in The Blue Apron is varied with something to suit everyones palate, from locally sourced meat to fresh fish and a vegetarian option, which is changed monthly. All dishes are made from scratch within their own kitchen, with a keen eye on seasonality and ingredients.
Service prompt, friendly and attentive. Food delicious. A real find.
We go to the blue apron regularly and it is always top quality with great service. If you decide to eat here you won't be disappointed and we will return shortly.
This is my second time in the restaurant in a short space of time, the food, staff and restaurant can not be faulted. I couldn't recommend it anymore as the food is second to none. Will with out a doubt be back again soon.
I have visited this restaurant on many occasions and I have never had a bad meal. From the moment you enter till you leave the attention you receive is second to none....would highly recommend it.

The restaurant has more pretensions than substance. Nothing was wrong with the food, per se, but the whole experience was a bit flat. I'd seen high recommendations and, while I left fed, and enjoyed my lamb, the staff seems undirected and a bit unmotivated, other than the one who was relegated to swabbing the floor during business hours. Also, a restaurant with pretensions to fine dining, in Ireland, should serve better beer than Bud, Heiniken, etc. It's the work of moments to buy a couple of boxes of decent bottles from the grocers down the street. Same with a mediocre whiskey and cocktail selection.

Fantastic food & good portion size. Service was excellent.
I have eaten there on two previous occasions but was very disappointed on this occasion. Two large groups of people were dining so our table was left in middle of floor. This just felt uncomfortable. Also waiting staff were very friendly but literally as one member walked away after telling us the specials another jumped in an told us the exact same thing again. The main course was served way to quickly following the starter. Plates were just cleared and then main course was placed in front of us. I had vegetarian main and I couldn't fault that but my the other main served was very disappointing.
A thoroughly enjoyable family lunch to celebrate Father's Day. We have eaten here several times and the standard of food and service is consistently high.
Highly recommend this restaurant. Staff are friendly & very efficient & helpful. Food is amazing with plenty of options. Can't wait to visit again
We are visiting from the US and Blue Spron was recommended by our B&B. We had a completely lovely evening. The restaurant was welcoming; food was excellent; and service was friendly. Would definitely recommend for a nice evening out.
