The Blue Fish-7th Street
Had high hopes, however the sushi was just kinda blah.. really didn’t taste fresh. We ordered the sald it was cut in huge pieces to where we couldn’t even cut or bite it. Our son chocked on it because he had difficulty swallowing it. Our waitress was really sweet, however we were extremely rushed.., like they kept bringing plates of food that wouldn’t even fit on the table.
The app let us make a reservation for 9 pm, however when we arrived, the hostess told us the kitchen closed at 8:45 pm.
Terrific sushi in the cultural district of Ft. Worth. The sushi was fresh and equally important artistic. I had the dragon roll and I wish I had taken a picture, because it was terrific/ The beer was cold and their offerings were phenomenal.
My husband and I decided to dine here for Valentine’s Day. I’ve been to the one in Irving and it’s one of my favorite sushi places so when I found out one opened in Fort Worth, we had to go. The ahi tower is awesome! That was my favorite in Irving and at this location, it was just as good. We ordered 2 sushi rolls and they were very good. The only complaint we had was as soon as we walked in, there was a very strong odor of what appeared to be sewage. Assuming there is a problem with their system. At first I thought maybe we should leave as it really wasn’t very appetizing to smell it and noticed there were only a few others dining on a Saturday night. But in the wake of a snow storm coming through the next day, we assumed that was why it was quiet. We dined anyway and enjoyed the food but didn’t hang around too long because of the smell.
Valentine’s
It was very average. Fort Worth had better sushi and they have a better atmosphere.
Careful on the spice for some rolls, spice overpowered the fish. Otherwise, very good.
Food was outstanding and service was great! We had several rolls, poke, and fried rice at the table. Can't wait to go again!
We have been to another Blue Fish location in DFW and it was always excellent. Hopefully the issues with the one here in FW will get worked out. Was kind of shocked when we were seated in the main dining area, and they had everyone crammed at one end. Like 10 empty tables and they stick us next to 3 other parties. I’m looking around in amazement and a manager realizes and does come over and moves us out of the congestion. Bartender was excellent, even personally delivering drinks to table and asking if they were good, which they were. Our waitress was inexperienced and it showed. During our meal we had multiple dishes brought to our table that we not ours. My wife’s dinner was taken to someone else’s table and once she did get it, we had all finished.
Just very inconsistent.
Apart from a small miscommunication on our order, everything was great!!
Went to the Fort Worth location for my birthday. Love the sushi and martinis.
Friendly staff! Fresh and delicious sushi!! Must visit Fort Worth sushi!
